Cleanliness , Friendly attentive staff, Good sized Room, Great supply of hot water , nice gardens and lounge / conservatory and good quality Breakfast.

I feel Darker blackout curtains are needed in the bedroom as the light came through quite early and having no curtain or blind in the bathroom the rear car park light was on all night causing light to come through under the door and the location of the room did attract some noise from outside traffic and the were a few noisier guests in surrounding rooms ( which the hotel had no control over)

The breakfasts were included in the price and were very good. Choice of 3 cereals, 2 fruit juices, 2 fruits. Toast with spreads, jams, marmalade. Marvellous coffee machine with many choices of coffee, hot chocolate or chocco milk, hot water for tea. The cooked breakfast had good quality sausages and bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried bread, fried potatoes and baked beans. The staff were quick to remove the used plates etc and respond to any requests for assistance. There is a comfortable large light lounge and conservatory to relax in, also quite a large garden area with seating. There is a car park at the front of the hotel and at the back. Not far from the beach , pier, oceanarium, BNCC and town centre with many shops, a cinema and playhouse. Also the 3 lovely parks, don't miss the aviary and live entertainment. All in walking distance or there are bus stops on the roundabout nearby. Buses are frequent and cheap. Tourist Information Centre by the pier.

Stayed for three nights just before the peak season so not too busy. We arrived about 1pm and check-in wasn't due till 3pm but the receptionist was happy to let us drop off our luggage temporarily if needed and it turned out our room was ready anyway so we were able to settle in straight away, which was a nice surprise. Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff, clean spacious room with accessible walk-in shower/wet room. Hotel was relaxed and peaceful with welcoming lounge / bar areas, conservatory and garden seating area. 10 minutes walk from the beach and town centre, but just enough off the main road to be quiet. Room cost included nice cooked breakfast and simple choice of cereals. Attentive staff. The restaurant wasn't open for evening meals yet as it wasn't peak season so can't comment on these. All in all we thought it was a lovely place to stay and would recommend.

Bathroom maybe just needed a bit of shelving /storage somewhere, but I appreciate it was probably designed for space and accessibility. The coffee machine might need some instructions for use - it confused a few guests and created a slight queue 🤭. Was surprised that bath towels were replaced every day without us asking - not a problem as such but the room signs indicate that you can opt to be eco-friendly and save on laundry if you want, which I would have preferred. The twin beds were right next to each other so we separated them as much as possible for breathing space. One of us thought the room decor could be refreshed slightly but I didn't notice! Otherwise no complaints.

The room was clean and cosy. Good size Tv. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of towels and pillows. Having a fridge and safe was good. Room was nice and warm.

The outside of the hotel looked a little shabby especially around the Entrance door which was off putting. The breakfast although adequate was rather expensive. We were woken up around 3.15 am on our second night by 4 noisy lads in the garden. Seeing as hotel had 24 hour surveillance, we feel this should have been picked up br camera on Reception. We asked if we could reserve our parking space for 2 nights as I am disabled and my husband needed to use the car to take me into Bournemouth. We were told if there wasn’t any parking spaces at the front we could use the back. There were no spaces at the back so my husband had to park randomly at the back. We had paid for 2 nights parking so there should have been a space.

Location is great you can walk into Bournemouth centre and to the beach in 10/15 mins . Coming back is a hill though. Breakfast was lovely.

Parking was a bit strange. You can pay £8 per day but you are not guaranteed a space 🤷‍♀️we did manage to get a space but sometimes the last one. I would not have been happy to have paid for nothing. The hotel has lots of space to make more car parking spaces. Our room was quiet warm as it was west facing so beware In a heatwave. Facilities are underused. There is a bar that’s open 24/7 but the lounges have no atmosphere also a lovely garden with tables but no umbrellas. Lovely spaces but very wasted.

Only a few minutes walk to the pier & beach, the hotel is very well situated for everything. The hotel looked like it had been recently decorated and everywhere was clean and pristine. The rooms had everything you might need - even a large fan for the odd warm night. Breakfast was excellent, cereal and full English was plentiful with juice and tea & coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful including at reception, cleaning & maintenance and in the breakfast room. We had a most enjoyable stay and look forward to returning.

The only thing I could say negatively is there is a £8/day charge to park, which I personally don’t like at all. I understand the need to keep the car park for guests only, but there are better ways to deal with this.

Enjoyed the stay, and the hot, and cold breakfast, the room was nice size, and bed comfortable, easy to get to room via stairs, and lift, only few minutes walk away from beach, shops, cliff walk, and close to local bus stops. staff very friendly, and helpful, cleaning of rooms when you wanted it done, and only changed towels when needed to be changed.

noisy neighbours in next room, loud tv after 11pm, until 1/2am, also bangibg doors of room, was reported to staff, and people told to be quiet after 11pm

We just needed somewhere to stay and get our head down for the night and that’s what it did. It was cheap so can’t complain. The location is perfect for access to the town centre and beach (few minutes walk) but far enough so that you don’t feel like you’re in the middle of it all.

The property has a feel of a nursing home about it. It’s very dated and drab. On the plus side, I know what to expect when the kids finally cart me off! The fire doors aren’t fit for purpose with large gaps at the bottom showing the light coming on in the corridor when motion is detected. Walls are paper thin. We could hear the guests in the next room like they were in the same room. Having said that, it served a purpose and got what we expected.

Breakfast was good, fresh fruit, cooked breakfast and bread for toasting. There was no yogurt or sweet breakfast pastries such as croissants etc, but still good. Parking was very easy. Location was great, a short walk (uphill) from the prom. Very helpful staff.

Staff all super helpful and friendly, even rang me to try to return a book I'd left, (which was actually theirs from the bookcase.) Fabulous facilities for a small hotel, bar, lounge, games room, parking, gardens, etc unfortunately didn't get to take full advantage due to short stay. Excellent breakfast and location for beaches and town centre. Fabulous value for money, would definitely stay again.

If I was being very picky, I might comment that it was a little noisy at night when all guests are coming in and getting ready for bed, but only for a very short period of time.
