I stayed at this hotel just for a night, moving from Osaka to Hiroshima. For travellers, the location is extremely convenient, since it's a few minutes walking from the JR station (and it's well connected also to the Shinkansen - bullet train - station). The bed was very comfortable and the room was also quiet. Curtains shield well the light coming from outside (in case your sleep is sensitive to daylight).

Compared to other hotels where I've stayed, in Japan, the breakfast was a bit too essential. I think they could also invest in a mixer tap for the bathroom (both basin and bathtub), because you currently still need to mix on your own hot and cold water, and this is somewhat old-syle in the 21st century. Especially because hot and cold water don't seem to have a regular flow, so with the same setup you first have warm water, a moment later too hot, and later warm again.

The hotel was near Sannomiya and Kobe-Sannomiya stations, allowing us to travel to various attractions without navigating so much, and right across from Round 1 which we could easily drop by on the way back. So many restaurants to try and shopping that could be done nearby as well. We also liked having new sets of towels and pyjamas provided daily and the charging ports at the bedside.

The fridge wasn't working and seemed to lose its function because not only was it not cold inside (our food/drink was warmed up lol), but the heat it emitted through the wooden bench was strong enough to dry some of our clothes overnight. The room was also a bit too dim.

I had a 4-night stay. The location is excellent - short walk from bus stop to/from KIX or ITM, and easy access to all the train and subway connections. Double-glazed windows block out street noise, and the heat pump a/c allows climate control. Many MANY places to eat and shop close to the hotel. Plenty of help for those of who don't speak Japanese. Rooms with double/queen bed are not cramped. The divider between bed and work desk has a fridge, hotel safe, insulated tea/coffee mugs with tea, and covert storage space. Everything was very clean, and there are lots of places near bed to plug things in for power or USB.

Nothing, really. Well, if you really want to watch English-language TV, you won't find it on the set in the room. Big surprise - it's Japan, not Kansas.

A modern, comfortably designed hotel in the city center. One of the biggest rooms I have encountered in my travels all over Japan. There is a fridge, an electric kettle and a hair dryer in the room. A long desk to put things on. Towels are exchanged on a daily basis, the trash is also taken out on a daily basis. The reception area is spacious. Breakfasts are delightful. Not all staff speaks English, but everyone is super nice and helpful. The location is excellent, close to major subway lines, easy to walk around the city. Restaurants and stores are nearby.

No water dispenser to refill water bottles.

Hotel Brenza met our expectations for the cost of the hotel and the advertising on their page. This hotel was one of the cheapest places we stayed in for our three week trip, and it suited us well. The rooms were large and has a desk as well as beds. The best thing about this place was the loaction, it was across the road from the main station in Kobe. We would love to come back to Kobe and explore more. We would happily book this place again. The staff were professional and helpful also. An easy base for us to use to explore both Kobe & Osaka - much more reasonable than staying in Osaka. Plus we went to a great local resturant with a friendly chefs! Would also highly reccommend them too!

My only comment would be that the carpet was a little run down - it is likely that recarpeting would be required for this hotel in the next few years. Thicker duvets would be appreicated, however this is probably a cultural difference with expectations.

it is the second year in a row i have stayed at Brenza, first all it is excellent value, but also the hotel is clean, great position and the staff anywhere in the hotel are brilliant. i stayed 14 nights and i really like the idea i only need the room cleaned once every 3 or 4 days, that works really well for me. i will be back next year for sure! :)

the constant noise from the building work next door! not your fault of course! :)

- Helpful staff. - Very spacious room. - Very generous with the free amenities such as cotton set, shampoo, shower foam and conditioner. in fact the shampoo, shower and conditioner are in bottles and they will refill it each time. - Quite quiet. We don’t hear anything from other rooms, except that one time where someone slammed the door. No street noise either (just construction noise and sirens) - Within short walking distance from train station and bus terminal. Sannomiya is quite well-connected to many places in Kobe and to Osaka - Fuss-free check in and check-out.

- Sirens (night time) - Construction noise but it was just from 830am to 6.30pm when we were outside most of the time. the hotel did warn about the construction - Dust from construction. to be fair, the hotel did warn about the construction; we just didn’t think about the possibility of dust triggering the dust allergy. Other than that, the room is quite clean.

Location (close to train, convenience store, and many nice food venues) room size (twin), daily housekeeping, window view with a window that could open door if wanted, staff were helpful, and the option of later check outs. Complementary toiletries appreciated. Compact but well designed bathroom with a small deep bathtub.

There was competition for the washer/dryers in the evening and variability in how well each machine dried clothes. Would be nice to have complementary water - however having a Lawson two doors down was handy.

It seemed spanking new so everything was immaculate. Quite a big room, very comfy beds. Very close to Sannomiya railway station -- just a few mins. walk.

The hotel was hard to find because the only signage was a small sign, INSIDE the front doors ( visible from the street but not obvious at all ). Just a couple of tea bags provided but no coffee -- though you could buy it on the lobby floor. Our room looked out on a building site next door, which was not at all scenic but surprisingly quiet even though they were working there.

This a great hotel for comfort and location. We stayed in a twin room and it was really big in comparison to other places in Japan. It was refreshing to have space to move around the room. The bathroom feels a bit like you are in a plane but it has a lovely shower and bath with gorgeous free soap, shampoo and conditioner, everything works really well The beds were so comfortable and there was a large smart TV so we could cast any programs/films from our phones. The best thing about this place is the location it is just around the corner from Sannomia station so you can get around easily. And you can walk to the popular shopping streets and restaurants within 5-10minutes. We really enjoyed a comfortable stay here, it is great value for money.

There was loud construction work going on next door so on weekdays it was very noisy from early morning onwards. We used ear plugs so it wasn't too bad for us, I recommend bringing ear plugs as it will definitely help block out the noise. Kobe is a busy city so noise is to be expected, just come prepared and it's all good.
