Time of travel: February 2024 Breakfast: Curry Chicken, rice and Miso soup. Free drinks. Didn't find tea. Location: Short walk distance from Karasuma station. That's also where the Pokemon Center Kyoto is. So awesome. Room: Capsule room. Comes with manual ventilator, charging cables of various kinds and free earplugs. Bath: Genderseparated Public Onsen. You go in naked and can either enjoy their 40 degree Celsius Onsen inside and open air or just wash yourself with a shower head inside and be done with it. Small tatoos are tolerated. Free amenities such as bath towel, tooth brush, hair dryer, night clothing, etc provided.

Breakfast choice was a little limited.

Wow! Just wow! I love this capsule hotel place at Kyoto! I highly recommend this place. They offer so much free amenities and stuff. I didn't need to bring anything as they provided so much stuff. They offer 24 hours free miso soup and free soft drinks. At breakfast time they offer free curry rice or rice with topping. They provided so much different shampoo, conditioner, body cream, face cream, toner, cleanser and I could go on with my list but it's too long. The service was so friendly, helpful and so nice. The bed was so comfortable and I could stay here all day and nice.

Incredible value for money with a cozy spa as well as breakfast and dinner included in price. Very friendly staff with an English speaking attendant being available most of the time. Didn't really matter though, the Japanese speaking staff are very service minded and did their utmost to accommodate my JLPT 5 English!

There's really nothing to say here. Hotel delivers exactly what was promised and at a very reasonable price. During my trip to Japan I stayed at three Anshin Oyado Hotels, two in Tokyo (Ogikubo and Shinjuku), and this one in Kyoto; and while all of them were superb, this one stands out as the one I enjoyed the most.

So so so beautiful the capsule was clean and had everything you needed. The facilities were spotless and the spa/ onsen was just incredible. I loved that they had so many different products to use and razors and anything you needed. I really had a beautiful time and met some beautiful people in this place, they have free drinks from 5-midnight so it’s good to have a couple and meet some people. I did book only a few days before so it was definitely more pricey but if you book in advance is cheaper. All in all 10/10 stay would absolutely recommend

Literally nothing, maybe the layout is a bit strange but I have only a small bag so it was in my capsule with me

I really enjoyed my stay. Everything was provided (e.g., towels, slippers, lounge wear, lotion, toothbrush). You could also get drinks and coffee for free. The hot spring was a special addition as I wouldn't have done it otherwise. The furnishing/equipment was everything you need and on top of clean. The capsule area itself was quiet, clean, with charger provided inside. (Small llittle side mark: you could get a problem if you are taller than 180 cm) The location is a 2-minute walk away from the station; with all the interesting districts close by (e.g., Gion, Nishi market)

You had to go through the common area to get to the women's lockers. So be prepared to bring everything you need to your capsule. Apart from the hot spring, there was no additional room for showers only. So you have to go into that area

The spa is fantastic. Beds are incredibly comfortable with plenty of space. Free curry breakfast and free Japanese alcohol on the evening!

It's clearly struggling to cope with the huge influx of foreign tourists visiting Kyoto. I have stayed here twice in the past and it was very different this time. They have had to move the lounge and bar upstairs where there is more space. But it feels unfinished. Uncomfortable dining chairs and tables, flat lighting and no music. Other parts of the hotel play lovely music so why none in the lounge? The drinks are just put out on a table in the corner. The old set up was much better. And I miss the music.

The staff are very polite and nice, and the facilities are very comprehensive. There is free miso, drinks, a bar, breakfast, and rice dishes at night. Everything is very clean and there are instructions explaining everything for travelers, so you aren't confused. The makeup room is bright, the onsen is gorgeous (indoor spa, outdoor spa, sauana, and cold bath), and there are plenty of haircare to try.

The only issues are that the hotel is a bit of a walk from the train stations, and the locker room is on a different floor from the bedrooms, so if you need something/need to change, you have to use the elevator.

The facilities . There were many amenities available from a big artificial springs that I loved I even arrived earlier from my itinerary just to enjoy it . Everything was so clean . Plenty of free stuff and drinks .

The shared common area on level 2 I thought and many did I’m sure it was just for girls . I think I’d would be nicer if it wasn’t shared . Also the food was I clouded but I didn’t eat it it was always curry nothing different and for dinner I just saw a kind of liquid I didn’t dare to try . Other than that it was just amazing .

Very well organised, nice onsen and all the things you need are available (various shampoos, cosmetic products, lens containers etc.). Very clean and staff were helpful. I also liked the idea of providing free soup and an evening snack. Location was perfect, very close to the Shijo station, which brings you directly to Kyoto mainstation. Nishiki market is also very close!

The women's dorm was rather large (approx. 30-40 beds) and the capsule was also rather small. The price is also rather high compared to other accommodation.

The facilities at the hostel are incredible. Hot soups available everyday, hot and cold drinks, lounge where you can enjoy your meal, cosmetics pyjamas etc. It is very nice. There are many capsules in one room but it was very quiet and comfortable. Onsen with two pools (inside and outside) is also very available.

I felt a little bit confused after check in, cause despite the fact that there were a few staff members at the reception, the communication (with help of the translating app) was a bit hard and nobody explained where are the rooms, lockers etc. And the hostel is big and everything located on different floors. They gave me a map instead but i saw other guests had the same "problem" with finding everything at the beginning.
