The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff when our daughter hit her head falling on the floor and they helped by providing a bag of ice to cool the bump on her head. The ease of checking in and checking. We liked the location of the hotel as well. The size of the room was okay although the corridor was a bit too narrow. The number of electrical sockets was good too.

We really dont like hotels using one-ply toilet paper, it's so pointless and very annoying. The bidet and shower of the toilet was still very strong even though we set it to the lowest setting. It made the back of the toilet all wet.

The location was great - right by Shijo tube station (which is only 2 stops from Kyoto main railway station). Also only a 5 minute walk to the main high street with many department stores and restaurants to pick from. Many convenient stores close by too. The toiletries were plentyful and there were also items to pick from in the reception area should you have forgotten anything. I loved the night shirt too and also the little packed back left outside the door with new clean items when i requested a "no clean today" option.

A hotel bar would have been nice, but it didn't spoil my stay at all.

Great location - very convenient. 1min walk from Shijo station, Kiyomizu-dera is approximately 30min walk, and Nishiki market is 15-20min. You also have 24hr Lawsons and 7-11 right outside the hotel. Body product samples were provided at the Hotel foyer. The room was spacious and clean - daily house keeping is available if needed.

Laundry room needs some english instructions on how to use the machines but not too big of a deal if you have Google Translate available.

Nice rooms, comfortable beds. Nice location, convenience store right downstairs. Train exit close by. Staff were nice. Price was good.

Room was small for 2 people, as others said, difficult maneuvering around 2 check-in luggages that are opened up. Also, didn't like the smoke room downstairs in the lobby, can smell the smoke every time you come downstairs and walk through the lobby, not pleasant when you have to sit in lobby waiting.

Location was literally next to exit of subway and only 10 minutes away from one of the busiest area in Kyoto. There's a Lawson next door to get anything you miss. Great amenities including great coffee. Lots of information on where to visit in hotel lobby. You can monitor breakfast line and coin laundry line from TV. Rooms are quite large and come with extra pillow.

Laundry coin cost 500 yen, but they only take 100 yen so need to be prepared.

The room was clean, big enough for two people. There were a lot of freebies at the hotel lobby including coffee, facial masks, combs, razors, and many many more which was unexpected. Staff was quite nice too.

Parking available with extra fee. Comfy rooms with japanese style bathroom, good for relax with hot bath. Free pick of toilettery items from lobby for daily needs, hair oil, makeup removal, hair band/clip,etc.

Comfortable and clean hotel with a shuttle to the airport. The beds were comfy and the rooms were quiet. Everything was well maintained and cared for.

We didn't eat at the restaurant as the prices seemed to be on the high side. Otherwise, it was a great very convenient to the airport.
