Close enough to the Kyoto station

1. Breakfast should be offered. There is a breakfast space and kitchen right in the lobby. Don’t know why the hotel doesn’t offer breakfast when it seems easy enough to do. 2. The hotel goes by TWO different names, posts TWO names on the building. Very confusing when trying to find it on Google map. When trying to locate the building, tying the booking name “Hotel Kyoto Station Cotone” on Google map, “Kyoto Crystal Hotel I” would come up. So you don’t know whether this is the correct building or you might wonder if the hotel you just booked actually exist? When I came to the location having followed Google map, then I saw that the top of the building says “Kyoto Crystal Hotel 1”, at the same time the front entrance posts “Hotel Cotone”. Why ?

The location is very convenient. It's a 10 minutes' walk from Kyoto station (if you take the Hachijo something exit), and there's a rather big 7/11 in an about 5 minutes walk. I was staying in the annex, and I liked that the staff at the main building explained to me how to get there very clearly. It turned out to be really close, despite my doubts, there's no inconvenience whatsoever in having to check in and out at the main building when staying at the annex. The room was rather clean, the bathroom was clean, there were plenty of amenities and a microwave on the ground floor. The bed was comfortable and the light switchers are licated strategically.

The room is a little too small. But I was staying alone, so it was okay for me. Their vacuum cleaner doesn't seem to work well. The carpet in the room wasn't clean when I moved in. And this didn't change a bit when they came to clean my rom on the third day of my stay. It wasn't downright dirty, but it didn't look clean. The dust is only brushed from the surfaces on the level of the eye and lower. The top of the hight cabinet was covered with a thick layer of dust.

Loved the experience within the hotel. And the hot springs that are offered at the location! The breakfast is a high recommendation, and the same as all you can eat, ramen in the evening! It's so worth it. Loved the chill atmosphere throughout the hotel! And the provided comfortable clothing and baskets to go around the hotel. With hot springs, be prepared that it is no swimming suit policy as well as no tattoos policy (they provide you with a plaster to cover them up). You are separated by sex so men and women do not interact with each other in the baths. And women's baths do not have a cold bath, which is a bit of a bummer, but it's ok. Highly suggest to come with an open mind and just enjoy your stay!

I don't have anything to complain about, just a suggestion. I would suggest that the staff emphasize that people can not wear any shoes around the hotel (saw 5 people wearing the toilet shoes that are provided just for the toilet in their rooms). There are some little mentions of it in the lift, but it's not so obvious. I think it would be useful if the staff would mention it at the counter and have it on the door in the room somewhere so that people are a bit more mindful of that. I think many people didn't even realize these shoes are for the toilet only.

The place was clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful and responsive. The location was great, a 10min walk to Kyoto station and close to 7/11 and other restaurants and shops. The lobby area had a kitchen and rest area that provided coffee, creamer, and hot and cold water. There was wifi specific to each room that helped with internet connection speed.

The rooms were on the smaller side and there wasn't a lot of space to walk around the beds. The TV could not be used to remotely cast content from phones or the internet.

Less than 5 minutes walk from Higashi Maizuru Station, attached free open car park (lots of spaces available). Shopping mall and pharmaceutical store across the road, lots of eateries within 10 minutes walk too. Room is clean and functional, clean bathroom. Reception staff are wonderful. Our bags and Amazon order were already placed in our room when we checked in. Highly recommended comfortable stay in Higashi Maizuru.

All is good. Room is slightly small.

The bedroom is bigger than the regular rooms you would get in Japan. Clean and tidy. Hotel staff are attentive. 5 minute walk to Kyoto station that connects you to the main attractions and also close walking distance to the bus stop. About a 5 minute taxi ride to nishiki

The powerpoint is located in the middle of the headboard so when we charged our phones, our cords would be dangling close over our heads but not a problem!

Everything was amazing. The rooms were clean, they were changing the towels, taking out garbage when you wished to. There was everything you needed - shampoos, hair dryer, laundry room, refrigerator,... There were even tables on first floor where you could eat, a microwave and always fresh water and coffee to drink. The staff were really nice and helpful. You could even store your luggage before and after your stay. Perfect for backpackers.

Room was bigger than expected in Japan and quite comfortable. Possibility to keep luggage after check-out. Location is great, 10 minutes by foot from the main train and bus station. Quiet neighbourhood, despite being close to aforementioned stations. Everything has run smoothly in regard to check-in, check-out and during the stay.

The staff went above and beyond to help us. We were shocked by the lengths they went to ensure orur comfortability. I would have expected this kind of service from a 5 star hotel. Big shoutout to the staff working in nightshift 5th November. He helped with so many questions. Thanks again and highly recommended.

Nothing everything was great

Extremely central, couldn't have had a better location. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

It wasn't clear when we booked that we would be located in the Annex building which was a short walk away from the main building where front desk and washing facilities were located. Not a big problem at all, but would have been good to know!
