The hotel's spot is super handy – connects to the JR Line and subways, making it a breeze to explore the city. You've got loads of shops and restaurants at Kyoto station, so convenience is off the charts. Our room had three single beds, just what we needed for our trio, and a cool bonus was the walk-in closet that easily fit our two big travel cases. Surprisingly, even though we were right by the railway, the room was chill and quiet. We skipped daily cleaning, but the cleaner still took care of our trash bins outside the room every day – more than enough for our three-night stay. Overall, it was a pretty awesome experience.

Finding this hotel might be a bit of a puzzle, especially for first-timers. Even for us, who've been to Japan often, it was a bit tricky. It would be awesome if the hotel could hook guests up with a directory or map ahead of time. That would save everyone some hassle, especially those with L size travel cases. Haha

The location is fantastic! It's within the Kyoto Station, a great place to be based for all your travels around and outside of Kyoto. Some reviewers mention that it was hard to find the hotel - not at all! Just look for the Kintetsu Rail gates, take the escalator right next to it and go 1 level down, and the hotel entrance is on the right. There is also a mind-boggling selection of food choices, from restaurants to convenience stores to bento from supermarket.

The size of the room is really small but still acceptable as the location of the hotel more than made up for the small room

Bright and spacious rooms, good applieances, convinient amenities, bathtub has a nice size, english speaking staff, easy access to the hotel from Kyoto Station, convinient location.

Location sinage of the hotel inside Tokyo Station could be more abundant and clear. Sometimes it´s hard to find your way to the hotel inside the station, specially for foreings. Breakfast buffet could be better, it isn´t really worth the price. There are just a few options for both japanese and western food, no vegetarian or gluten free options availble at the restaurant.

You can find ramen , pizza, tonkastu and cafe etc. - Breakfast at hotel are wonderful.They are many delicious menu and many kinds of japanese food and western food. - If you like snap shot of train photo you can take a photo inside your room because the hotel is next the kyoto train station. - You will get evening hour of drinks 15.00-18.00 such coffee tea and coke sprite - Room can keep more good sound.It is quite and comfortable bed and pillow. The hotel prepare the pajamas in you room. - Towel are clean and many kinds of them .You can choose them.

. Helpful and Attentive Staff . Incredibly easy access to Kyoto Station . Could store luggage up to a day after check out or before check-in, which saved us running around to find an empty station coin locker . Clean rooms, nice decor, vending machines placed conveniently . Great view from our room to the shinkansen tracks. I'm now an avid train spotter! The double glazed windows kept pretty much all the noise out, haha. . TV had a small selection of Japanese programs to watch without subtitles but was fun to browse nevertheless

. The tea selection was minimal. It would have been nice to have coffee satchets to use with small milk pots and sugar. . The pillows were quite hard and felt like weights to pick up. . The shower is incredibly powerful, which is a plus, but its head is really hard to manoveur, and the shower is quite steep to get into.

Bad accessibility due to the complex design of Kyoto Station. Tight room for 2 people with luggage. Humid bathroom due to bad vent facility after shower or bath(I personally recommend opening the bathroom after shower or bath). May hear other rooms noisy through the bathroom.

Since it was inside the train station, it was really easy to get around to the sites both via metro and bus. The train station itself had plenty of restaurants and convenience stores and drug stores for quick fixes. And yes, you really can't hear the trains!

More storage space for luggage and hangers for clothes. The little closet behind the headboard was really innovative though!

The location was great. Right at the Kyoto station and very convenient to catch train, subway and bus. Many restaurants are located at very near by, and great place to shop gifts and local goods.

They didn’t have any dresser with a few drawers so we asked for extra hangers and kept other clothes in our suitcases, and not much space to put your stuff in bathroom. Pillow was stiff and there was only one pillow per bed. No top sheet (flat sheet) between comforter and bottom sheet.

Very good location inside Kyoto station with a lot of restaurants, shops and supermarket near the hotel. Nearby big shopping malls like Isetan, Aeon mall etc…

Room was rather small, unable to open up luggage completely. Didn’t come with a safe to keep valuables.
