The location of the hotel is fairly close to the train station. Easy walk, or take a bus for a stop. 7/11 across the street is nice. Pretty close to the bars in the city. Loved that they had washer dryer in the building. Rooms were nice and clean. Free coffee and manga rentals, if you could ready japanese.

Not too much to dislike. If i had to be picky, perhaps that they dont offer free Video On Demand on TV, but youre not there to watch TV. Oh! Also, if you plan on using the washer/dryer, they dont have a change machine, so make sure to have 100 yen coins handy. Not something I dislike, but its just a very slight inconvenience. Im sure you could get change in the front desk, or do what i did, make a purchase at the vending machine. Not a big deal. Not much to complain about this place.

Convenient hotel a few minutes walk from the station. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, although a bit small. I was highly amused by their manga lounge although I did not borrow any books. The staff was able to assist me in forwarding my luggage to my next hotel. Breakfast was surprisingly delicious and was slightly different each day.

There is nothing I disliked about this hotel. It is a bit farther from the station than most hotels I book when staying in Japan but it is still relatively convenient. Thankfully breakfast was included in my stay. Although it tastes great, I do think the breakfast is a little overpriced if you were to pay for it separately.

The overall experience in this hotel was good. They had a nice open bath for use, which is a very typical Japanese experience. Staffs were very friendly and the breakfast was very decent! They also had a manga/magazine library for you to relax and browse.

Overall facilities is a little run-down, but definitely sufficient. Don't come expecting a posh hotel. Location is about 5-10mins walk from the Nagano main station.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, they stored our bags for us despite not being able to check in yet. The facilities were very well kept, including the onsens and downstairs lobby (library). They had bathroom amenities on offer to grab from the lobby. Microwave and ice machine facilities are available as well.

- Room was comfy and well organised - SUPER clean bathroom and newly made - very unique to have actual ceramic and not the yellowish plastic as in most Japanese bathrooms - Public bath was really nice, including sauna, going there late in the evening (~22/23:00) it was almost empty - Very good breakfast, good offer both for Japanese and western style food. All kept fresh and warm. The breakfast was a bit early, it would be great if it can be served a little longer. - The vending machines with icecream and big offer of free toiletries that you pick up from spot next to reception was a great idea too - Very nice & helpful staff - Convenient lockers to keep luggage - Good location, close to the train station but not too close, some konibis and other stores around

Nothing really, I'm not a morning person so later breakfast times would be great though :)

Good location about 5, 10 min walk from the train station. Breakfast was good and there is a nice area at the first floor to read manga

Would be nice if they had a small safe in the room

Nice breakfast and central convenient location for sightseeing, railway and restaurants. Room small but comfortable. Staff is helpful

Communal area, breakfast area and room look slightly tired and old fashion. Room is small.

We love the location and its great value-for-money stay. We felt well taken care of with a lovely coffee, tea, vitamin C water area at the lobby, and its clean public baths available for guests.

Nothing.

Staff were accommodating and the room was nice for what I paid, but I got a pretty big discount, I would not have been satisfied with the room if I had paid the standard price. The hotel is not too far away from Nagano Station, but it is a little bit of a walk. It's nice because it means being far from the loud crowds drinking at night, but it also means having to travel that distance to reach most of the restaurants and izakayas. The hotel is next to a 7-Eleven, which is really nice. While I did not use it, there is a small manga library on the first floor and you can take several books to your room (no English).

I may have missed it on the hotel listing, but parking does not take place at the hotel. I ended up having to park my car with the emergency lights on to ask one of the taxi drivers also parked at the front where to park my car. Parking ended up being a few blocks down and it's an indoor facility. I had to awkwardly drive on the sidewalk in order to exit the hotel and get to the parking building. If you want to be right where most of the restaurants and entertainment is, you might want to choose a hotel closer to Nagano Station, at the standard price you could be paying the same amount.

Nice, clean hotel and room

About a 15-20mins walk from Nagano station, usually not a problem, but can be a bit much with heavy luggage. Double room is a little tight for two people
