We stayed two nights. The hotel is undergoing renovations and we spent a very uncomfortable first night in an older room with a broken ventilation system. The second night we were moved larger remodeled room that was very comfortable. The location for us was perfect being across the street from the cruise ship port with plenty of shops to explore.

Note: This is my second stay at this hotel. The staff members who assisted me during the check-in process were quite pro-active, bringing me to where I needed to go and simply smoothing out everything that was required. My room was fairly spacious with a good view of the road leading up to Oura Cathedral and Glover Garden. The bed was fairly comfortable, and the pillows were ok, which is high praise from me if you've read enough of my Japanese hotel reviews by now. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but is within walking distance of several public transport options. There are also a few eateries around the area.

This is a bit of a tiny nitpick; the room itself was clean and tidy, but there were a few places that could have used a bit more dusting, such as on the TV. Otherwise, I have no complaints about my experience here.

Convenient location and friendly and very helpful staff

Hidden fees like crazy. I booked for two people, but then they said I hadn’t so they charged us extra. Then there is a special city tax for Nagasaki. They offered breakfast for 2,700 yen a person which we declined.

The hotel is situated very well, super close to Glover Garden, close to the bus stop (direct bus to the Peace Park, main station, even the Dinosaur Museum). Room was clean and comfortable and the staff was super friendly and helpful!

The unreasonably high price of the breakfast made us skip it at the hotel and search for something else. Would not imagine the breakfast to be that expensive.

Is an older hotel with the type of furnishing. Still relatively clean. Near to glover garden and Orca church Near to the tram station.

Not near to Nagasaki station thus need to take tram over. But is still relatively easy to go ard Nagasaki with the tram

The room was very clean. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. Location is quite good to visit historical sites in Nagasaki. Very convenient in general.

Though we specified we are a family of four, the room we were given was quite small. The room also only had two semi-double beds so we felt a bit cramped.

Bright, spacious room with a good view of both the bay and the shopping village. The bed was fairly comfortable to lie down on. While I didn't use it, I was pleasantly surprised to note that my room did come with a small but accessible balcony. A bit out of the way, but there are a couple of local family restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel is near a few bus stops and the No.5 streetcar, which makes it easier to get to places with a greater variety of eateries.

No real flaws; I would be nitpicking, given that any issues that I may have will be completely down to my personal taste.

Staff is excellent and very helpful, very knowledgeable. Rooms clean, complimentary bottles of water every day.

One thing. We had asked for a non-smoking room. However, there are smoking rooms on the same floor and tobacco odors came into our room through the AC vent. They need to have entire non-smoking or smoking floors.

The location was great, close to tourist areas but still quiet. The room, the reception, lobby were all sparkling clean.

Everything! a lovely hotel in an ideal location just perfect for exploring the sights and sounds of Nagasaki.
