The hotel is within 15 mins walk away from Nagasaki station. The walk is manageable as you need to walk along the malls. The room size is manageable and the breakfast spread is awesome. Free ramen supper as usual. There is also an onsen, massage chair and free ice-pop (PM)/yakult (AM) at the 14th floor. 7-11 is directly located in the same hotel building. U can use your room card to access within the hotel lobby. The hotel is also located near the tram station. Recommend to get day pass to enjoy unlimited rides around the city.

There is nothing that I dislike except the hotel rates seems to be at the high side.

We arrived at Dormy Inn with no special expectations, we just wanted a comfy not too expensive place to stay at, with Onsen inside the building. In a few words everything exceeded our expectations, and we had a great stay there. What a surprise, the Onsen is huge, with no less than 3 hot bath, a sauna and a cold bath. And you can take a complimentary Ice Cream and enjoy the free massage chair once you're done. Definitely a big plus. The room, for Japanese standard, was pretty big and as always well thought. Everything was tidy, and we loved the interior rope provided (a shame we couldn't leave with them !). We did not try the restaurant but we sure enjoyed the free half portion ramen provided at night. Perfect to ensure you're full after a day of walking, visiting and snacking around the city. Once again, a great place to stay at !

We have stayed at several Dormy Inns in Japan and we are very happy with the consistency in product and service. Our room was of ample size, especially for Japan, and we even had a nice view of the city/mountains from our room. The breakfast was bountiful and tasty and there were a few local dishes included in the menu. The dining room was big enough so that we didn't have to reserve our seating time in advance - it was nice to have the flexibility in the morning. We did enjoy the complimentary ramen in the evening as well. This Dormy Inn has one of the bigger and nicer spa facilities as compared to others. The men's side has a large outdoor area, more shower spaces, larger baths, and a larger changing area. My wife said the same things about the female baths. We liked the location, not too far from the train station, but not in the middle of things. There were several local restaurants in the immediate area and access to busses and the trolly. My wife and I do enjoy these hotels and we always look for one when we are traveling around Japan.

They included treats like free ice-cream throughout the day and free ramen at night for guests, and there was also a reading room with lots of Japanese comic books and 2 massage chairs. The natural onsen was an added bonus.

Very small complimentary mineral water (probably less than 300ml) was provided to each staying guest daily. The reception desk declined our request when we asked for more bottled water. Was very perplexed that the hotel staff chose to be very stingy and strict about not giving an extra small bottle of water but on the other hand, the hotel was generous in providing ice cream and ramen were provided free flow daily. Hope the hotel can change the complimentary bottled water to a bigger sized one in the future.

The hotel is a quick 5 minute walk from the station (its visible standing outside the front of the station) which is super helpful. Its also a 2 minute walk from the main road bus and tram routes that run through the city. The hotel itself has an adjoining door to the local 7/11 which is incredibly handy too. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, maybe a little small but not as a detriment. The hotel seems suited to travelling business men but we stayed as a couple for a 3 day stay and it was everything we needed.

The pillows that were originally in the room were a little hard, but a quick chat to reception and we got some nice soft pillows that sorted it all out.

Easily one of the best hotels I was staying in during my travels. The room is pretty large for Japanese standards, the curtains are thick enough to block the daylight completely and allow to sleep in. Furthermore, I didn't hear any sounds from the outside of the hotel nor from any adjacent rooms. It is perfect to get a good night's rest and the location is also great - you can walk to the train station in few minutes and practically visit all of the many sights in central Nagasaki on foot. If you return late to the hotel after an early dinner and feel the need for a snack - no problem the hotel has you covered with complimentary ramen and hospitality even late at night. If you are in need of relaxation or want to get a bit more tired before heading to bed, you can hop into the hotel's complimentary onsen on the roof top (please shower yourself in the shower room next to the hot bath before going into the onsen... and don't really jump into the bath :)). There is also complimentary ice cream in the hotel's reading room adjacent to the onsen where also massage chairs are installed.

The location was great - close to the train station. It was also within walking distance to some sights and to the tram stops. They had all the amenities needed, and they also offered extra items at no cost, which was a nice surprise! There was a small snack waiting in the fridge when arriving, they offered a delicious ramen soup at 9:30, there were a variety of ice pops in the freezer, two massage chairs to use, a small library to relax in, and washing machines with detergent - all complimentary! The onsen had a few separate pools, and one with an open air top which was super nice. Each room also had pj’s to wear to the onsen, and many people would be wearing them when getting their evening ramen soup. Would highly recommend this hotel!

We felt well served here. The staff was wonderful and responsive, the rooms and public baths clean with excellent facilities and it's in a great location for visiting Nagasaki. They even had special treats like free Popsicles in the evening and free probiotic drinks in the morning. Parking was available, too, and in a well protected facility. There is even a 7-11 right next door. And both the train station and the tram line are very close.

We la ked for nothing. We loved it here.

Breakfast was decent. Reasonable selection. Location a bit of a walk from the station but not excessive. 5-10 minutes depending on traffic lights, route. Room was spacious enough. Much better than some budget business hotels. Bath is very nice. Laundry facilities very handy. And free ice treats after a bath is a bonus along with the massage chair.

They don’t mail things for you probably because the main post office is just around the corner.so not a problem.

The public onsen was great - there were 3 hot pools (2 outdoor and 1 indoor, a cold pool and a sauna. Amenities were provided and the vanity space was spacious, clean and comfortable. There is also a relax room beside the public onsen where ice-cream and yoghurt drinks were provided, as well as a wide range of Japanese comics. What’s best to me was probably the free supper (ramen) provided every night! Breakfast was good too as the variety was decent and local delights were provided.
