The property is in a beautiful location surrounded by picturesque place. This property was renewed a year ago. The resort can be easily reached via train, bus, car. Inside the resort it has got a golf course, tennis courts, amazing swimming pool, stunning open and closed onsen, one restaurant, one bar, resort centre(a place to relax), play area specially for kids, Small shop which sells quick needs for trekking (Northface branded clothes, cold beverages, snacks to carry). Outside the resort: There is a cute park which has a natural foot onsen (please see my pics). It’s such a lovely place to relax by dipping ur foot into the water and you can even walk within. Watch out for the temperature of the water though.

There were not English speaking people at the reception which made it quite challenging for us to communicate to them (although I handled with my conversational level Japanese). we didn’t have a car, so it was quite difficult to commute to places without car. Because the frequency of resort shuttle buses or any other publicly transport was less in frequency. I am hoping the resort could start renting bicycles to people who would wish to go on cycle trip which will make it easy for us to visit nearby places.

We stayed at the hotel for one week and overall had a great stay here. Staff was friendly and the room and facilities were very clean. The public outdoor onsen was a nice addition to our stay. Breakfast selection was quite good with many Western Style and Japanese Style dishes to choose from. Good access to the Tateyama-Kurobe-Alpine Route.

Not many negatives, however the family onsen is a nice touch but could be renovated and doesn‘t match the public outdoor onsen (only inside). Hotel Restaurant has an ok selection of dishes but prices are too high for the quality and quantity of the food (but is to be expected of a resort hotel). Alternatives in the near vicinity are scarce (rental car definetly necessary)

The hotel was located behind a golf course that had closed for the winter and was a great place to take walks in nature. The hotel had an weight/exercise room that I took advantage of almost every night and the highlight was sitting in the outdoor onsen (naturally heated outdoor pool) with snow on the nearby trees.

It really was a great experience but the only think that could be improved would be offering more variety on the menu and for the buffet. An expanded selection of food besides beef offerings would be nice.

Nice big room for Japan. Everything was meticulously clean and well maintained. Breakfast buffet was good and very helpful and polite staff - very well English speaking.

We did not have a car, so sort of stuck to the hotel for the nights. During the ski season there is a free shuttle service to the Hakuba Goryu ski lift which is convenient, but you are stuck to the timing and busses to the other areas are cumbersome. There is also a shuttle service available from/to Nagano JR station.

The hotel is at a beautiful location with amazing views of the nearby mountains. There is a bus stop right by the hotel, making it very convenient to get to Ōmachi or the Tateyama Alpine Route. The breakfast and dinner buffets were incredibly versatile, abundant, and delicious, with plenty of alternatives catering for various dietary resrictions. They even have a chef offering custom alternatives. The staff is extremely service minded. They have various alternatives for those who want to excersize (gym, pool, golf course, tennis courts, putting greens..), a fun hang-out area with games in the lobby, and a lovely lobby bar with a cool fireplace. We loved soaking our tired feet each night in the amazing (free) foot onsen. The room was huge with a big comfortable bed, and offered various amenities (samue, wine cooler, electric kettle, q-tips, shaver, toothbrush....). We would be more than happy to stay here again!

They don't allow tattos at their public onsen so we did not get to try that. We rented the private family onsen instead. It was a nice large bath but the space could have been a tad nicer. The lobby bar/cafe closes at 17 so we did not get to try that.

The room was perfectly clean and had all amenities provided. Really loved the location of this motel. Easy bus trip from Nagano to get to the motel and then an easy local bus trip to Ogizawa Station which is the start of the Alpine Route. We stayed at Holiday Inn and then did the Alpine Route one way to Toyama. The baggage service was excellent - the motel organised for our bags to be forwarded to our next destination for a fee and this occurred without any problems. Dining room and food were modern and clean. There was a lovely golf course at the motel but we did not have enough time to play. Lovely mountainous views around the property. Also a nice coffee shop, lounge and small gift shop inside the motel. Pool looked good too but wrong time of year for us. There was a Japanese Onsen but we did not use.

The room was small and you had to step up into the small bathroom. Apart from golf and proximity to the Alpine Route there is really nothing else nearby - no shops to walk to etc.

This hotel was amazing! there was a games room and play area for children and a Family Onsen as well as male and female Onsens. The staff were extremely helpful and buffet restaurant served a wide range of food. The hotel was very modern and funky and the room was big enough for 5. We rented a car from Nagano and drove to Omachi through the mountains- it was quite snowy but the car was useful to get around Omachi. Nearby Jigatake Ski slope was quite small and only bottom slope was open Mid-Dec but it was perfect for younger Children.

Pool was closed December to March

Excellent breakfast with a variety of choices. Attention to detail where they even offered different types of milk such as oat milk. Maybe could add a little more Japanese twist into their breakfast, it was more toward the western side.

It would be great to have a shuttle bus from the resort to Ogizawa station.

This hotel makes an effort to satisfy the needs of international travellers. Lots of information in English, English speaking staff and bilingual TV!! Very rare in Japan!! Friendly and professional staff. Beautiful building. Everywhere extremely clean. Lots of facilities including fitness centre, children’s activities room, fantastic swimming pool complex, and pleasant spa. Comfortable room with bilingual TV. .. Excellent and so rare in Japan!! They have a brilliant chef and the international food was amazing!! Beautiful location with fantastic views of the mountains.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Very nice breakfast with a very good service. A plus are the hotsprings outside and inside the hotel (connected) Not sure if it is hot spring weather or just normal water but it still vey beautiful. The hotel lies within woods which makes it very beautiful.

The restaurant: food was fine, although portions very small and very pricey. The service was rather slow but friendly and not much English.
