The room was cute and cozy and to myself. There was an onsen that I was allowed to use even though I have tattoos. They gave you free amenities, including wifi, bathrobes, slippers, toothbrush, shampoo & conditioner and body soap, and towels every day. There were hair dryers as well and a microwave in the lobby. And a fridge and monitor in the room.

This hostel was primarily all locals so communication didn't happen much sadly. Even communication with the front desk was difficult as a foreigner, but they did try to help as much as they could.

1. Near train stations - Dobutsuen-Mae Station (metro/subway) and Shin-Imamiya Station (direct train from KIX). 2. Room was big enough for the 3 of us (2 adults 1 child [10y/o]) with 2 big luggage + 3 knapsacks (50 litre). 3. The location is only a few minutes walk from the subway/JR/or Hanshin station. Mega Donki Mall is only two blocks from the hotel, as well as Spa World and Tsutenkaku. This area has lots of good food to try. I love the hot bathtub and the private room on the women's floor (the shared bathroom is fine). The free amenities are so good, no need to bring a toothbrush, facial wash, facial cream, cleansing oil, shampoo, body shower, and slipper. All of these are free to use. The price is very very good to recommend others to stay here.

The pillow is too flat like paper. The interior design is old such as the wallpaper is broken.

There is everything you need! You have bicycles to use for free - first come, first serve! There is a fully equipped kitchen with two fridges, toaster, microwaves, cooking plates and dishes. In the lobby is a small shop/shelf for convenience food, ice cream or snacks. Furthermore there is an onsen free to use. You get slippers and bathrobes. Also you can get free shampoo and conditioner from the reception. For ladies there are some beauty articles like facial wash or body lotion for free. The WIFI is working great, whether you are in the lobby or in your room. The staff is really very helpful, although there is a language barrier some time. We would definitely come again!

Showers are located in the first floor only, so we had to take the lift down from the 5th floor!

1. The fare of room is OK for backpackers. 2. The kitchen facilities are suitable for guests. 3. The water supply is OK. 4. The most is the helpful staff!! I met the receipt problem with a shop and I would ask for the help. The staff immediately helped me to explain my ask and anger. It is not the responsibility for them but their hospitality for every guest is perfect.

1. If you prefer a big room, not a good choice for you. 2. Sometimes you may smell the smoke. 3. The place is noisy at midnight because of the bad violation of some people.

the rooms are small but it is normal in Japan. it was really enough to sleep. mattresses are very comfortable. you have metro and train station nearby. don't be alarmed, it's a poor area but for me it was very safe. Lounge is not very inviting but I was out all the time and didn't use it. Really good for the price. there are also some normal people staying in the hotel (workers hotel), so be respectful and don't party, don't play loud music or loud phone calls in your room. Japan usually has very thin walls.

I liked everything for this price. I expected even less

1.Strong Japanese style, the night counter staff are kind, gentle and considerate. The on-site supervisor operates carefully and observes carefully, especially moving chairs to tenants who have been standing for a long time waiting for the shower room. The service is excellent. If the hardware equipment can be upgraded, it will be 100 points. But prices go high 🤣. I hope such favorable price next time I visit again! 4.Thank you for your hard work, see you next time!

Location is convenient for traveling to/from KIX Int'l Airport and easy access to Osaka city center and nearby Kansai prefectures. Cost/price ratio is also good if traveling on a tighter budget. Public bath provided for both male/female through midnight instead of changing slots for the same bath is a great plus.

If one expects the "Japanese cleanliness" standard (room/public area), I believe he or she will likely be disappointed. But other than that almost everything is good.

Very good shared cooking facilities and pleasant communal area. Only 100 metres from exit 4 of Dobutsuenmae subway station and only a five minute walk to the main restaurant area. Even though the room was small it wasn't as small as the photo of it and it also contained a fridge. It also had a window which helped in not making it feel too claustrophobic.

Good value for price for Osaka. The hotel feels very local, only a few foreigners. The room is comfortable enough and has what you need. We loved the onsen and enjoyed it every evening! There is also a sauna which was very welcomed. The common space to eat is also nice, there is a special japanese atmosphere there. It's super close to the subway and several convenient stores. Helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this place!

Basic room, and you have to share the toilets, but it's still okay.
