I do not speak Japanese and did not fully understand the expectations of a capsule hotel. Upon arrival, the front desk was extremely helpful - instructing me what to do and then asking another staff member to show me around the various facilities and letting me know the expectations. If you want to know what to expect; you check-in, then you'll be assigned a locker near the from door where you'll swap your shoes for slippers. They can store any large bags at the front desk or medium-ish bags can be taken with you to the locker room on the second floor. On the second floor locker room, you can change into a provided tunic/pants, or other comfortable clothes you brought with you. The locker key is a wrist strap that you can keep on your person the whole time. On the top floor is a space with free rice/snacks, soft drinks, tea, and coffee -- even alcohol in the evenings. The floor below that is the communal shower/onsen and sauna. All bathing is in a shared space. There are small lockers for temporary use outside the shower/onsen. I am 6' 4" (1.93 m) and I chose this place in part because I read from another tall person that they fit on the beds. I can report that I did with basically no problem. I didn't even feel very cramped. In terms of noise, it's similar to a hostel - you can hear those around you if they're making noise, but I didn't notice much. The front of each capsule has a soft "door," but it's really just meant for basic privacy. The "mattresses" (bed pads really) are pretty thin, but I didn't feel uncomfortable. Overall, great experience. I stayed here on my first night because I always wanted to try it and it really helped force me into adapting to local expectations.
Honestly, I could pick at things, but the price is great, the location is convenient. The only thing that's a bit annoying is that if you have a large bag that you need to keep by the front desk you'll need to shuffle things out of it to take to the locker room and you won't have consistent access to the bag.

Hot bath, Evening Free Alcohol, Clean & Cozy lounge, great location (walk distance to shimbashi station) and not too crowded.
Would be better if have some area to manage the luggage by myself instead of asking staff to bring it from the storage when sometimes I just want to quickly grab something from the luggage.

This was my first time in capsule hotel and I liked it very much. Altough there wasn't english spoken staff in the front desk they found one man who could spoke english and show me how to use hotel and it's facilities. They have little onsen with hot bath and steam sauna where you can wash and relax after busy day. You don't need bring any whit you amenties as they offer you everything you might need and that is including in the price. After that you can spend your time in the upper floor lounge and enjoy free soft drinks, miso soup, rice and some free alcohol also. During the night there was a little noise on the accommodation floor but it didn't bother me because I also snored there :D

Very friendly staff and clean facilities. Close to the train station (less than 10 minute walk) so convenient to travel. Free alcohol and soft drink service was also very nice and free curry every morning was very delicious. Capsule was spacious enough for me to lie down or sit up cross legged with everything you need (lights, usb charging, TV, headphones, earplugs etc)
I'm usually not too fussy about how I sleep but after 7 days, it was starting to get uncomfortable. I think 5 days at a capsule hotel is long enough. The hotel is also extremely quiet so as to not disturb others - it almost felt like a silent retreat. Also note, the bath is a japanese style onsen bath to take showers. It's part of the experience and I didn't mind it but if you're not comfortable with taking a shower in a shared area, do keep this in mind

Accurate listing. Unlimited rice. Although the listing suggested onigiri instead (which would've been awesome). Unlimited drinks.
Sick individuals (coughing or sneezing) werent wearing masks. However, I understand it's somewhat out of the control of the hotel since it's already May 2023.

First experience in a capsule hotel so wasn't sure what to expect. Initially I wasn't too sure about the whole pyjamas situation but grew to love it! The capsule rooms are nice and quiet, walls are thin but everyone staying there was very mindful and respectful. The beds were also comfortably long enough (I'm 6'1 and had no issues). I also have quite a few tattoos and this wasn't an issue for the shower/baths. Location-wise, it's a short 5-10min walk to the train/subway so easy enough to get around.
The capsule A/C wasn't very good and it did get quite hot in the evenings. Cooler A/C would go a long way for a more comfortable nights sleep

Very clean with a lot of complimentary amenities and food. Pleasant and moody interior. Japanese style onsen and sauna on the 8th floor is clean and they provide a lot of different types of products too. Cabin is spacious and charging cable is provided, as well as TV. Staff were all really friendly. Not all spoke English but there were English speaking staff working. Don’t confuse it with the branch that is right outside Shimbashi Station; this one is a short walk away.
They ran out of space to put my luggage for my second stay here, so I had to store it at reception. A lot of single use plastic. Can take a while to move around the place due to the one lift but there are also stairs. The inbuilt alarm clock system is a bit loud, I wouldn’t use it. I think most people just use their phone.

I stayed here with my niece for a few nights and we loved it so much we cancelled our other (more expensive) hotel and booked here for our return to Tokyo. The location is excellent, about a 10 minute walk to the subway/train station which got us everywhere we needed to go, although I have to admit, because there are different train companies, the trains/subway can be confusing. The capsule rooms were very clean, cozy and had everything you need - air conditioned (never got freezing cold if you need that but I found it quite comfortable) and they were spacious enough for a capsule. The very best thing about this place though was the staff and the facilities. The staff were wonderful and helpful, most of them could speak some English. The facilities were fantastic! The sauna and onsen were lovely after long days of running around Tokyo and there were lots of showers - although these are in the onsen room so they’re not private stalls, however I quickly got used to the lack of privacy, it really felt okay after about 2 seconds!! There is a relaxation room on the top floor which had the nicest zen like relaxation vibe - in fact the whole hostel had a great calm soothing vibe. They serve great rice and very in the morning and rice all day with and again at night - a free bar with wine and some alcohol in the evenings and lots of seating areas. I would stay here again every time I’m in Tokyo! And the affordable price was a big bonus!!!!
There was nothing I didn’t like!

I had a brilliant time here. However, important to note to backpackers etc. that this is not a standard hostel - this is a very specific capsule/spa set up. Toilets, sinks etc are on the capsule level, but you have to go to the spa to shower. Ultimately it proved great to pair that with a sauna or hot-tub! Having not been to a place like this before, at first it seemed a little strange. Very quickly it became comfortable and easy staying there and I came to really enjoy the format. It was very relaxing. Everyone just minds their own business. Also worth flagging that they are very good with letting you leave your bags with them before and after the stay as needed. Check out time was 12:00 which is quite generous and in my case turned out to be quite helpful. The capsules themselves were great. Reasonably well sound insulated, surprisingly comfortable (if unorthodox) pillow, nice duvet, very spacious. I decided to leave a change of clothes and other non valuable items in the capsule (6th floor) to decrease the need to visit the lockers (2nd floor). The lockers were big enough for my large backpack and a small backpack together. Having been backpacking around, was particularly great being able to just take clean ‘spa robes’ and towels as needed and discard in the dirty bins when used.
The only thing I did not like was that the capsule room floor definitely could have cleaner. Not a huge deal cause they give you slippers to go everywhere in, but still something that could be improved.

I'm happy I chose this place as my first experience staying in a capsule hotel. The capsules had air-conditioning and a comfy bed, you were given pajamas, and the selection of free food and drinks was unbelievable. The staff was helpful and friendly, but the highlight of my stay was the onsen. After a whole day of walking and exploring the city, there was no better feeling than to relax in the onsen and the sauna.
Not necessarily a dislike, but with only one elevator and 8 floors be ready to wait your turn a bit longer during busy times.
