The hotel is located just minutes away from Shinjuku's New South Gate entrance/exit. That is also the exit with near Takashimaya as well as Tokyu Hands. The hotel itself provides very good wi-fi. The room I stayed in has my own router and the internet coverage was superb. The owner was a pretty nice chap.
The hotel has too many unnecessary wooden furniture that guests cannot use and may not really add aesthetics, could potentially be dangerous too. The walkway at level 2 of the hotel is filled with them. The room also had a few too-large wooden furniture that restricted my movement in the room. I almost tripped on the bedframe a couple of times.

This is a great option if you are a solo traveller or are seeking a convenient base/affordable option when in Tokyo. The location was great and the room was comfortable.
This accomodation is very small so it is more suited to solo travellers. there are also stairs and no elevator so I wouldn’t recommend this if you are likely to struggle carrying luggage up a few stairs.

The place is situated in a very convenient location, the receptionists are kind, the bed was comfortable and it was helpful to have a washing machine & dryer in the building. I loved the interior design. I was happy staying on my own for almost two weeks, but I feel like the room would be too cramped for 2 people
Well the walls were pretty thin, i could hear people from neighbouring rooms talking. The chair in the room was old, which made it hard to use. On my last night I didn’t get my towels.

location and price! Do bring earplugs and an eye mask, as it is noisy and the curtain lets the light through. There was a mini kitchen that i only used for making tea. The bathroom was also tiny, but the shower was hot and strong. So all good. As for service: i was able to check in earlier which was awesome as i just came from a long flight, but other than a new towel on day 3, there was no service (good or bad), i just saw no one at the hotel. So, if you want luxury or breakfast this place is not for you. If you are traveling budget and want to be in the middle of it all, please do stay here.
It's a thin line between quirky and shabby and i am not sure if this hotel stays on the right side of it.

Great location, very near to JR Shinjuku station and Takashimaya. There is family mart, 7-11 and lawson near to this hotel. If you are ok no make up room, this a good place to stay.
Towel fray, hope owner change better quality towel.

The hotel is in an amazing location about 5 minutes from Shinjuku South East exit. There are 3 convenience stores right there too. I booked the hotel knowing that it was not going to be luxury in anyway. If you expect your room to be industrial shabby chic, with interesting objects, its’s great. I would describe the quality as like a family holiday shack. Expect that and you’ll be happy! The wifi was fast, the staff were shy but cheerful and helpful, the towels get changed every day, there are washing machines and dryers. There are cool random objects always changing out the front and in the lobby, and a selection of art magazines. I enjoyed my stay here. The value is AMAZING if your are a single traveller in a small double room.
It backs onto a sporting field, during the day you’ll hear them pretty easily, not a problem at night. You will hear your hotel neighbours pretty clearly! The shower curtain is about half as wide as it needs to be. I was a single traveller, I stayed in a small double room, which was big enough for just me. I couldn’t imagine sharing that bed for two. There was barely enough room to open my suitcase, it had to be packed up and vertical to get out the door. Not sure how two people would fare.

I stayed as a solo traveler in this apartment for a week and was pretty happy with my room. There was enough space and the kitchen was a great addition which I used a lot to prepare some meals and breakfast. There is coin laundry room in the basement which is also quite handy. What I really liked was that the location is perfect just a couple of steps away from shinjuku station but is also very quiet overlooking a small alley street.
The apartment itself feels like an old house and it's kind of rusty so one has to keep that in mind. Although the personnel keeps it very clean and the toiletries provided are all very clean and helpful.

The location was amazing! Even though it’s in an unassuming alleyway, it’s so close to everything and getting the early train was easy because it was such a close walk. The staff were so friendly and helpful and spoke good English which was very helpful for a gaijin like me. The room was themed as an old Victorian era room with lovely frames and lighting to match.
The bathroom was very small. Considering g the size of the room it’s not a dealbreaker because they’ve done what they can with the space. This is not a room for couples. It’s a single traveller only. Perfect size for me but if you had another person or a large suitcase it’ll be difficult.

Amazing location close to Shinjuku and easy access. Affordable. Hipster cool vibe and different from other places. Coin laundromat at the ground floor. 7/11 and family mart 2 min walk. We also liked how hidden this gem was as we felt like living among the locals. 5 the early mornings, you see locals walking their Shiba.
The room is tiny so if you have big luggage and you are staying there 2 keep that in mind. We had 65l backpacks both and small backpacks, and it was messy. The bed is also small if you are used to queen or king size it's not the most comfortable sleep you will get. It's around 120-130 cm compared to 160cm or 180cm to keep in mind. By the end of our stay, we got used to it as you sleep under one blanket. I guess you snuggle more, too :D

Fantastic location! Down a quiet little street which felt really safe. Lawson and 7 -11 shops around the corner. Friendly and helpful welcome at reception. Good value for such a central location. Walking distance to the centre, the train station and metro. Amazingly quiet considering how close to the centre it is. Great facilities in the room, toilet, shower, and toiletries included. Little kitchenette, with a kettle, and crockery. Shared microwave in the hall. If you like your hotel room to look pristine and uniform, you might not like this accommodation. I'd describe it as quirky, shabby chic, or wabi sabi, so if you want to stay somewhere with slightly more unusual decor, (think old worn bits of furniture and equipment, don't worry though, the bed was in good condition and everything was clean), then this is a great stop over!
There was nothing we didn't like.
