Good location, near to Shin-Okubo station on the yamanote line and close to many convenience stores and restaurants (there is a 24-hr yoshinoya just opposite the station). We liked the constant hot water and strong water pressure from the showers which really feels good after a long day out. Air-conditioning is also pretty good, makes the room cold or warm enough whichever needed. Daily fresh towels and basic necessities like soap, shampoo, toothbrush, razor and combs provided. The 24-hour front desk is a bonus as it kinda makes me feel more secured always having somebody at the reception. Nice and helpful staff, a bit of language barrier but nothing google translate can't help. Wifi signal was intermittent but good enough. Stayed there for 8 nights and we would recommend this place as value for money that fulfils most basic needs.

Our room had a strong odour at night from the korean restaurant downstairs, but but the staff were very nice to accommodate our request for a change of room. Cleanliness standard overall still acceptable, but do not expect much. The bed was made up everyday, but we noticed the sheets were not changed daily. The room is not cleaned daily either as the same trash was lying in the same corner of the room for a few days. I also accidentally dropped something that rolled beneath the bed and when we moved the bed, there were loads of rubbish below the bed, which they should really clean after every guest checks out. The hairdryer was a bit disgusting as it had tons of dirt on the grill. They do not provide drinking water.

The location of the hotel is good, it is in a Korean neighbourhood, got plenty of food options around, we even tried a massage place nearby. The location is near to two subway line one is yamanote line shin okubo station. The hotel is clean cause they clean up everyday during the 4 nights stay, changing towel everyday. The hotel provided microwave in the lobby can heat up food if needed. The bathroom has a bathtub and provided with shampoo and body shower gel. There is a Don Quitje nearby perfect for souvenir shopping.

The hotel provided simple amenities but good enough for the price paid.

Extra large room compared to those usually seen in Japan. The location is great, in the middle of the Shinjuku neighborhood, 5 minutes walk from the subway (Yamanote line, included in the JR Pass). Undoubtedly, the staff is the best. We had a problem with a transfer to Nikko that we did not calculate well and they themselves spoke with the next hotel and organized the best way to get there so that we did not lose days of travel. We strongly recommend this place if you need an option not expensive but in the center of the city.

The window faced the opposite wall and the room was a bit dark. The wifi was not very powerful.

The staff were nice and helpful. Some were good in English and others tried their best to help. The location felt safe and comfortable. The train stations were within walking distance for me. They had all basic amenities. Microwave was in the common area to use if needed. No laundry but found one just outside the corner for couple of dollars owned by a old lady who was helpful. Lots of food options from restaurants to even a 711 a block away.

This might be not a big deal. I heard rat sounds often from behind the wall. I guess they were behind the sink wall outside. I never had or saw them inside so was not a issue. I should have mentioned to them but forgot on checkout.

It had a good connection to the JR station and was right next to the Kabukicho area. You could leave your luggage there even after checking out which was really useful and the doors stay open even after 12AM. The workers were very nice and had decent English, so communication wasn't a problem. They had their smoking zone at their front door, but they were the only hotel so far to have seats there.

The room looked a bit old and had a few spots on the walls, due to it's usage over the years probably, but not too bad. The bathroom with the tub was quite small and the ceiling was quite low. There also wasn't a seat or stool to sit on while taking a shower so it wouldn't have made sense to use it. Shower room and toilet rooms were both clean though.

Great location, right near the heart of Shinjuku, but a little further away enough to not be noisy at night. Approximately 7min walking to the Kabuchiko area. 7eleven 3min walking. 10min walking from 2 subway stations, one of them being great to go to tokyo station (shin-okubo station). Amenities provided, along with towels. Room clean. Toilet and bath in separated rooms

There was no daily cleaning, which meant garbage accumulated in the bin and it was necessary to go to the front desk ask for some necessities. Bed a bit small.

Convenient location, very helpful staff (even called a taxi for us to go to a club one evening and with a message from me allowednmy husband to check in a day before me (even though the reservation was in my name) because my flight was delayed), nice shower pressure, decent sized room.

I have no complaints. If you don’t like a firm mattress, this is not the place for you, though.

The hotel totally exceeded my expectations, the staff was kind and let me leave luggage there way before, also I was surprised one of the staff spoke portuguese with me (since I was born in a portuguese speaking country) that was really nice of him! I really loved that. The room was really really good, there are many places to go around, staff will recommend you. There are drink machines in front of the hotel, their pajamas and rooms are really really good. I forgot my wedding ring in the room and they let me go after checkout to retrieve it. The green tea they had was really nice. The room was very warm and comfy, the location is fantastic.

The only thing I didn't like much was the key was kind of big. But it was good in a sense since the room was autolock

I like the location short walk to Shin-okubo station which is a JR yamanote line very accessible going to tourist spots. The room is clean and bathroom. They have shampoo, conditioner, body wash and facial wash and other toiletries. Towels are clean and they replace it when they clean the room. I love that they accomodated to add a bed for my son because we wanted just 1 room, reasonable addtl charge and they have may plugs to charge my gadgets. They helped me book taxi too.Near 7eleven too.

Great little hotel in an unbelievable location. We walked all of Shinjuku and had a train station close by. Rooms quite basic but we anticipated this from the booking and brilliant price. Zero complaints about the hotel, very clean, quiet with very friendly staff. If I head back to Tokyo I will stay here again.

Only reason I didn't score 10 was the wifi, it drops out regularly.
