Clean room. Great water pressure and temperature in the shower. The staff are great and very welcoming.

The room was nice and clean, but I don't think the air conditioner has been serviced in some time. A short time after turning the air conditioner on, I could see that a layer of dust had accumulated on every surface. I looked at the outlet of the AC and could see it was dirty. This caused my allergies to get seriously irritated.

Comfortable and overall clean. Good shower. Nice concept.

The location is difficult. Even though it is a bit far from Kabuki-cho’s shenanigan’s, it’s still surrounded by “love hotels”. It doesn’t interfere with the hotel environment, and it is in Shinjuku after all, but it is still a thing.

We absolutely loved our 4 nights stay at the hotel. The location is very cozy and quiet. Many LGBTQ+ guests. The hotel is in easy walking distance either from Shin-Ōkubu or Shinjuku (both on JR Yamanote line) but still in a quiet neighborhood. The terrace between the cafe and the main building is a very nice retreat in busy Tokyo. There are many Korean restaurants in the area. You’ll also find tons of good restaurants north on Ōkubu street or south in Kabukicho district or east and west of Shinjuku station. One day we were in the need of medical assistance and the hotel staff was very kind in helping us to find the next best hospital. Luckily it was in 20min walking distance with a great English speaking support for foreigners. Thank you again for your help! Personally, it was my 8th visit to Tokyo and I always stay around Shinjuku. So I know the area a bit and wanna comment on some of the negative reviews. Room size: the rooms are even for Japanese standards rather small, but still okay and very modern. The suitcase fits under the bed. And the bed is indeed very comfortable. Noise: our room was on the third floor to the back and quiet. Price: some reviews said the price is too high. But common, it’s downtown Tokyo and for that the prices are very okay! Crowds: when you drop out of Yamanote line you’ll find yourself in a busy crowd of people. The neighborhood itself is rather quiet and not crowded at all. Ōkubu street, Kabukicho and Shinjuku are crowded. If you don’t like that, don’t come to Tokyo and stop complaining. Smell: we couldn’t recognize and smell in the room or from the carpet. I would recommend opening the window or using the A/C drying function after having a shower to prevent humidity or smell. Breakfast: it’s indeed ridiculous, but we still loved it as part of having a cozy start in the morning. The cafe staff is super friendly as well. In summary: if I ever come back to Tokyo again, I would love to stay in this hotel again.

Location was great, 15 min walking towards Shinjuku. Alot of izakayas and shops open till late in the Shinjuku area. Closer to the hotel, its like a little k-town with all the Kbbqs and snack stores around. We had a scare and thought my partner might have covid. The staff were helpful and gave some solutions and tips for where to go and where to get PCR kits. Overall the room was great, the walkway was big enough to open our luggages and pack on the floor, toilets were see through with blinds outside the glass panel. Location and price was great. Check in and check out was easy too. Would recommend this place. They have a nice cafe and terrance where you can get bakes and craft beer as well. Great vibes.

On google map, the location of the hotel is slightly different from irl. When we came from JR line Shin Okubo, we got lost for a bit as it showed Hotel Cen within the 'park' which happens to be a graveyard i believe, so we walked 1 big round. But Hotel Cen is accessible from the other side although is not very clear on google maps.

Enjoyed our stay, so easy to get to Shinjuku and Shibuya. Also near Shin-Okubo train station which was really useful for getting around Tokyo and other mainline stations. We were glad to pay a bit extra and go for the deluxe double size as the extra space is worth it in Japan! Good for having place to rest your head after hours of walking.

Some small things but it didn’t affect our stay: - The reviews are true - weird damp smell in the room but it didn’t affect our stay. - More space to hang clothes would be better. - Laundry machines worked ok but not the best. - Breakfast was bad, suggest eating out locally

Cosy hotel in the K-Town neighborhood of Tokyo. Short walk to public transport and great restaurants nearby. It also has a decent coffee shop on the premises. Staff were fantastic throughout our stay. Room was clean and relatively quiet (we were on the 3rd floor). Overall food for a few nights and a convenient place to be based to explore Tokyo (Yamanote line gets you to most of the key sight seeing spots)

The rooms are tiny no place to put our luggage other than under the bed and not enough hanging space to unpack. Our room was really damp so we had to use the AC to dry it out. In fairness it was ultra humid during our stay.

The location of Hotel Cen is great - 5 mins walk from both Shin Okubo and Okubo station, right by K-town so lots of delicious food, and ~15-20 mins walk to Shinjuku. The hotel rooms are on the smaller side as expected but very, very clean and comfortable. Hotel breakfast is discounted 10% for guests (about 1,000 Yen) and is very good as well - we only ate it once but would have gladly had it more! There's also laundry available in the hotel (~300-500 Yen total) and a nice deck area where you can eat. Overall would 100% recommend Hotel Cen as well as stay there again in the future!

The pillows were a little hard for my taste... personal preference though!

Hotel is super cute and on a quieter street in a busy area. The cafe/coffee shop outside was a really nice touch and added a great vibe. The room was tiny but that is typical of Japan but they utilized the space well. Overall, happy with it!

We would have loved to stay 2 nights instead of 1 but there wasn't availability so I asked front desk if one became available to let me know. They told me they had another room but it would be smaller than the one we were currently booked into and the price would be double. I was surprised by this and felt they were just picking a random number to pay as much as possible which I didn't appreciate. Also, I despise 10am check-outs. I feel when you are on holiday, this barely gives you enough time to sleep in and we felt very rushed out that morning.

This place is situated within a great location close to the station (multiple lines) and a short walk into Shinjuku and all of its bright lights. The hotel itself is located in a quiet street but one block out, one can step into the hustle and bustle of this part of Tokyo with endless restaurants to choose from (just make sure you book!). It's a pretty good location for all other areas we explored as well, owing to the nearby station. The hotel is styled in black, so the rooms are dark and felt pretty tight, but nonetheless were very comfortable for a couple, using modern design to fit some cool bathroom facilities into the space. The hotel has a brilliant deck and outdoor area for drinks and cocktails after a long day (and which gets nice and festive) and the accompanying restaurant serves a magnificent breakfast which set us up for the days we explored Tokyo. Would highly recommend as a great stay for couples.

Not much.

It is tucked in the quieter side of Shinjuku but it is still accessible by train and walkable distance to the train station. I like that it is situated in a concentrated area full of korean restaurants. Even managed to have dinner in a good restaurant there. Cafe Cen has a nice vibe and I like to have my breakfast there daily. Bathtub on the second floor, coin laundry room available plus vending machine Friendly staff, always be there to help us.

The air-conditioning in the room is quite odd, if the neighboring room is using the aircon in cooling mode then I cannot use my aircon's heating mode. At the time both myself and the hotel staff found it weird why would the next door hotel guest is using aircon cooling mode in the middle of winter.
