One of the best hotel experience I have had in my life! BnA is changing the game of Japanese hospitality and the staff dabbles in art as well and has offered me a lot of inspiration for my work. Every room has a different concept and it brought out a different version of me. Urban nest- offered an escape from the hustle bustle of the city. The industrial style reminded me of the Netflix show DARK. The nuclear bunker vibe allowed me to have social rest and cleared me of distractions. Playwall- Taylor swift/Ernest Hemmingway cottagecore vibe. In this room, I read a lot of literature, sung songs of love and played with the colourful chess on the table. This room allowed me to have creative rest. Room with a column- light, pastel colours that comforted my soul. This room allowed me to have spiritual rest and reminded me of a beautiful hospital in Barcelona that was design in art noveau style. Framed Function- The monochrome style allowed me to have sensory rest and freed me of distractions. I love how you can detach the pillows from the wall shelf and I had lots of fun playing and resting. Hyobo- Major winter vibes with a beautiful igloo and icy mountain designs. I felt like I was experiencing hibernation while sleeping inside the igloo. This allowed me to have Mental/physical rest. Room with a pink carpet- This room has soft and comfortable carpet and my feet totally loved it. I loved touching the sleek marble table as well. The soft and pastel pink colour made me more cheerful and allowed me to have emotional rest. Visible ambience- Ghost in the shell/Matrix vibes. In this room, I experienced a sense of existentialism in a good way and learned about how to connect the concepts of art and science. There is a microscope in this room that you can view and scrutinise various materials that the Art group Konel has used. There is a moving screen attached on the ceiling and I stared at it for quite awhile and had some thought provoking moments.

This is a very young hotel with a lot of potential for growth! It would be great if these things can be added. 1. Trash can in the lounge. 2. chair for the shower room 3. Coffee 4. Distilled water machine 5. Extra pillows for single rooms. Thank you!

Amazing hotel with an impressive approach to the room design and very attentive staff members. Rooms have all the needed amenities of high quality, the shower is very nice, and the bedding is comfortable. Despite the eco approach, suggesting cleaning only once in several days, the bedding and the room could be cleaned upon request. The location is very comfortable, close to several subway stations, bus stops, and convenience stores. The hotel also hosts lunch (curry plates) and occasional parties with free entry for the guests, but all the activities usually cease by 22:00, so it doesn't affect sleeping quality.

None, great stay.

This is a really pleasant, unique hotel, with much more ambience and character than the typical homogenous chain hotel. Rooms are spacious, well-designed and appointed, and of course stylish and fun. Staff were very nice, hospitable, personable and helpful. We received some great restaurant recommendations and arrangements, and other very helpful tips and suggestions. As a light sleeper, I really appreciate how serene and quiet it is. The location, to me, is perfect, because although it isn't in the center of one of the "hot" areas, it is right near several subway stops so it is convenient, quick and easy to get anywhere. But after enjoying nightlife or other busy activities elsewhere, one can then escape back to the peace and quiet here for good rest.

I really have nothing negative to say. It was great.

We chose this hotel as our last before leaving Japan, as a kind of "mad" end to proceedings. The room is hilarious and comfortable. The staff a delight, and all fluent in English. The decorations are as creative as you expect, although your mind quickly gets used to it. They looked after our luggage twice: when it arrived before us, and after checkout, and were very dilligent about keeping it safe and sound. Sadly the great mural was currently being changed when we were there so it didn't look as impressive.

There were no real issues, the location was a bit impractical at times and the price a bit high but it's fine

We stayed in the hardcore gamer room and we loved the novelty and excitement it added to our trip - beds were comfortable, shower hot and room generally well featured and clean. Knowing that artists are being supported and paid through these hotels is also excellent . The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay - more so than anywhere else we had been, and we really appreciated this attitude on our last stop before we headed home.

Although it is well connected by 4 surrounding train stations, the immediate area is not what you would call vibrant. But there are a few good restaurants within walking distance, and there’s always familymart!

Good location, kind service staff, ideas of design.

1.The second room 302 is less attractive for me, I don’t feel comfortable with the rotating picture. 2.WiFi connection is not stable. 3. I booked 4 nights, when I checked in, I requested to check out one days before due to the personal itinerary change (that’s in 3 days later, normally hotels can accept it), but this hotel insisted on refusing my request. Finally I quitted one day before the check out time without any compensation. I know it’s their policy but it’s not so reasonable after all.

The location was very convenient for travelling around the city with many different metro/subway stations nearby and was particularly convenient for travelling to the airports (we flew into Haneda and out of Narita and were able to get direct trains to both). The room design was such a fun concept - we stayed in the sushi wars room and the hardcore gamer room and loved both. It felt like a more local neighbourhood without any tourist attractions in the vicinity but still close enough to everything we wanted to see.

Minimum 10/15min walk to any metro station. For a short stay in Tokyo would recommend staying somewhere more central. The low entrance to the sushi wars room meant we kept accidentally bumping our heads!

The Daytime dream suite, as per the main hotel idea, is a piece of art. It is large and beautiful. Stylish, modern, and at the same time with a clear Japanese vibe. Bathroom gives you plenty of comfort, space and privacy; perfect! You get a few bluetooth speakers, a subwoofer, a projector and an extending screen. We enjoyed every moment in that room. A small hotel lobby is, just like the room, beautifully designed. (Mind, this is generally a small hotel in between large buildings, so do not expect views. Be lucky if you find a window at all.) The staff very helpful and friendly. We were offered welcome drinks. They kept our luggage safe for many hours after the check-out. A short walk to Mitsukoshimae Station that is just opposite the Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Main Store and offers a direct line to Shibuya Station. All you may need is nearby: Shops (cheap and expensive), restaurants (cheap and expensive); there are even drink vending machines just opposite the hotel, if you are woken up by jet lag and need something.

A small bar in the lobby (as pleasant as the rest of the hotel) was open Wednesday and Friday only at the time of our visit. There was an electric kettle in the room, but not a coffee machine (unlike specified on booking.com). The safety deposit box did not work. There is a sticker vending machine in the room that adds additional charm, so obviously, we bought the stickers for fun. The stickers, as I guess, promote the artists who designed the suite and cost 1,000 yen, but to be honest, are not worth more than 100 yen, so hopefully, the money will go to the artist, which would make it an acceptable joke.

The first impression as you walk into the hotel is fantastic. The staff are warm and welcoming, and conversed with us in English before inviting us to wait and have a complimentary drink while our room was being prepared. The explanation given of the rooms and the overall direction of the hotel in terms of its focus on design makes the whole thing feel more complete. The room and bathroom were lovely: clean, perfectly fixed up and exactly as they were presented on the website (although the lighting of our room was slightly less 'icy' than we'd thought it would be). Also hats off to Noria at the front desk for the late shift who was in great spirits despite it being 11pm by the time we spoke, and who was prepared to stay back after hours just so that I could leave with my clothes cleaned and dried and ready for the next leg of my journey - that really was next level 🙌

Our room was great, but the design includes some piping in the structure of an igloo. Hit my head on it at least twice, so it may not be the best room for a person 6ft+.

Of all the places we stayed in Tokyo (and Japan as a whole) this was our favourite. The artistically styled rooms were so much fun and also the biggest rooms and value for money that we experienced. The staff were super helpful, sorting out early taxis etc. Everyone was young and energetic and nothing was too much trouble. There's a great food and drinks place over the road called The Commissary. Just a great place to stay. We only had 2 nights there but wish we'd had longer. I'd have loved to see some of the other rooms. We stayed in the Hardcore Gamer room which was brilliant. A giant wooden nose on the wall. There was no TV in the room (which didn't bother us) instead they provided a decent size Android tablet for watching Netflix etc.
