Amazing location! In the heart of Shinjuku but in a more quiet and upscale area, near Takashimaya and iSetan. The receptionist was very kind to let us have early check-in 😊

The downstairs elevator near the konbini was quite scary at night, lots of nightlife bouncers standby in the way 😅 Better to not travel alone, especially for women. Room was quite old, the bathroom needed more thorough cleaning.

While the location of the hotel on the edge of Golden Gai, surrounded by many bars, is not ideal, it was very convenient for us with very close proximity to Isetan, Seibu Shinjuku station, Shinjuku Sanchome station and Shinjuku station itself. Also considering the location, our room on the 14th floor was surprisingly quiet.

The hotel itself seems dated and things like the hallway carpets could use a refresh. Also, the fridge in the room was very tiny and only good for holding a couple of bottles of water. There was one microwave for general use in the laundry room but that too was tiny and instructions were not intuitive. And finally the location, particularly for families is not ideal being on the edge of Golden Gai with bar promoters standing in front of many buildings. Having said that though, they did not bother us at all.

Friendly and attentive staff. Good location in the heart of Shinjuku. It’s a fair walk from the metro but many things to check out along your walk back. Love the Lawsons right downstairs. We were there for almost every breakfast and supper 😅. There’s also a 7-11 2mins away. The bar promoters generally leave families alone. Golden Gai was right behind the hotel.

The area can be a bit shady for some families as kabukicho is a red light district. We booked 1 double room and club room with 2 double beds. The double room was a little tiny for 2 of us, typical of Tokyo. But the club room was perfect for my 2 kids and the nanny.

The location is amazing if you don't mind a bit of night area outside. Might get a bit noisy out there but personally being on the 9th floor that was not an issue. Other than that, having a Lawson right outside was a blessing.

Nothing really. Just that is in a noisy/crowded night area, but that was not much of an issue anyways as the area is still 100% safe. Also, I guess, if you're coming to Tokyo you have to expect crowds...

The location is 👍 perfect, I love how central it is so we didn’t bother to walk that long for bus or trains. The rooms are also quiet we had very good quality sleeps.

The reception staff were excellent and very responsive on the Booking.com messages when I had questions about luggage transfer. They also took care of everything when it was time. All staff from front desk to cleaners were friendly and helpful. Great location, close to food, popular places, public transport and had a Lawson and 7-Eleven right underneath the hotel.

The aircon/heating had limited control. While it was nice that the hotel was heated during autumn, we found it was stifling at times. The room heating wouldn't go less than 20°C so sleeping some nights was a little uncomfortably hot. Also, the mattress and pillows were a little firm which is a personal preference for us. Some might prefer it. Other than that, everything was great.

The hotel is in a good location - it's close to the train lines (especially the JR line if you need it). It has a Lawson convenience store at the bottom (reception is located on level 3) and is close to the shops and restaurants. The staff are wonderful and patient and when we checked out at 12 - they allowed us to keep our luggage stored with them until we came back to collect it.

The air conditioning was tough to work (they do give you instructions though) and the pillows are very small (if that's something that bothers you). The room was a good size for 2 people - but is on the smaller size (only one of us could open our suit case at a time).

The location is very strategic right in the centre of shinjuku although might need a slight walk to the nearest train station but still considerably close by. Basic amenities around the hotel are also nearby, groceries are just below the hotel.

At night the bouncers/waiting staff from the surrounding area where you have to walk to get to the hotel can be a bit distracting but there is a back entrance to the hotel via small park behind where you can skip them completely if you dont want to get annoyed by them Also for the rooms, it would be great if they can install the new USB charging slot instead of just standard power plugs because nowadays most gadgets uses USB slots for charging

Staff were great. Breakfast was good value and provided Western food options. Room was comfortable and clean. Location was good for where we needed to go, through the day and early evening.

Some of the furniture in the room was old and probably should be replaced. The bar fridge was very small. A larger rubbish bin would have been useful. Maybe not a great area in Shinjuku to be walking around late at night, but no problem through the day and early evening.

Very clean and central hotel. Close to Kabukicho whilst being just outside the busy areas. The Golden Gai is right behind the hotel. The hotel is accessed via a lift and there is a Lawson Convenience store right beside the hotel. The hotel itself is excellent, with modern clean rooms and A/C throughout the building. The rooms were some of the largest we had during our 3 week visit to Japan, staying in 7 different hotels. I'd recommend this hotel (But be aware of the area of Shinjuku it is near, and don't be walking into any bars in the area without finding and checking reviews first, as there is alot of fraud and scams nearby. Avoid the bar touts altogether, don't engage them)

There are some bar touts outside the hotel from the afternoon to the mid-morning, however they weren't too much of a problem and it comes with the area
