The staff were super friendly and our room was always cleaned so nicely. They gave us fresh towels daily and I loved that the front desk gave me bath salts and a cosmetic package for 10 days.

I was disappointed that we couldn't go onto the terrace to see the godzilla head, however understanding that am earthquake had happened before our arrival, this was understandable. However, I was looking up reviews on the hotel and learned that the terrace was closed for quite some time. The other factor was that Japan is known to have hidden cameras in rooms (if you didn't know, now you do)on night 7 we saw a flash happen behind one of the lights in the ceiling... we couldn't be sure what it was so we covered the lens with a band aid...then covered the power button on our TV as well. We will return to Japan, but next time will bring a hidden camera finder.

This hotel is so perfectly located- it’s a few minutes walk from the train station, is literally surrounded by hundreds of restaurants and things to do. I was also very surprised at how beautiful this place is as I was expecting more of a mid range hotel feel but it a beautiful, has a great breakfast and puts a lot of 5 star hotels to shame.

Ok so I know Japanese hotel rooms are small and we were prepared for this but the bed situation was an issue. Recommending a twin room for 2 adults and 2 children doesn’t work as the beds are actually singles. It’s a good job we are skinny and the kids are only little otherwise we would have had to sleep on the floor. I love this hotel and I would definitely go back in just think you shouldn’t recommend a twin room to fit 4 people in 2 single beds

Booked this last minute after a mix up by another holiday website left us a bed short at our other hotel. We'd been in Shinjuku/Kabukicho a couple of weeks earlier, so we knew the area, and the hotel, thanks to the Godzilla head that looms over the side of the building. Kabukicho is a *ahem* lively area, but being on the 26th floor meant it was quite and peaceful, plus the view over the city was great. Hotel lobby and reception are beautiful. Outside terrace was closed for the entire 24 hours we were there, and if the main reason you came here was for the Godzilla head, I can see that being a disappointment. Room was fine, if a little bit tired feeling. Check in and out was easy, staff were friendly and spoke great english. Very helpful in sorting us out with a taxi to Haneda airport when we decided we couldn't face dragging bags onto the train. Taxi was metered rather than flat rate, but still came out cheaper than other quotes we'd had/Uber. Just a word on the area - do your research and know what to expect in this part of town - lots of bars and nightlife. Kabukicho tower is a great place to eat, get gachapon and play arcade games, so our pre-teen son had a great time. Depending on your family age though, you might feel a bit uncomfortable picking your way through the drunk salary men and cat-girl maids that line the surrounding streets though!

The location was the best - surrounded by restaurants and convenient stores. about 5-10 mins walk from Shinjuku Station (East exit). We are a family of 4 with 2 kids (8 and 11) and had booked a standards twin room (2 double beds). We deliberated whether to get the deluxe twin but it costs double for the same sized beds but with more room space. We find that once we push the two beds towards the sides (wall & window), there is definitely space for you to open up your luggage. There s a sliding door between the room and sink area. Good sized bath tub in the bathroom. I requested for a quiet room on a high room and we got a room on the highest floor - 30/F. You will not hear much noise from the hustle and bustle downstairs. For those who are worried about the red light district location - it's more like an area with plenty of restaurants and bars. Nothing not suitable for a family. We did not pay for the hotel breakfast - plenty of options nearby. There's a 7-11 within the same building. Top tip - the microwave is behind the cashier, you can ask to warm food up. the hotel also has a microwave on 8/F - we only found out on our last day!

slight distance to the Shinjuku Bus terminal if you were coming with luggage (where we took the airport limo). we were lucky to get a taxi from the hotel downstairs but apparently it's best to book one (1 hour before your departure time) but that was not communicated when I asked about taxis the night before. we didn't and have a slight panic.

Room was spacious, bed extremely comfortable. Bathroom/Shower was HUGE and a pleasure to clean in. The bath was big enough and had a faucet that told you how warm the water was and how long it would take to fill! On the 26th floor we had an amazing view of Shinjuku and as far out as our eyes could see

Kabukicho is disgusting. You have to walk through it to get to the hotel - which I understood at the time of booking but didnt realise how depravied this area feels. Unsafe vibes - streets of trash and vomit. The location hinders the hotel from having a bus service which is really dissapointing as its distance is also quite far from Shinjuku station. The lobby is always busy and the elevators are always packed trying to get up to the lobby. Its also hard to understand how to get to the hotel from the ground. You have to circle the building to find the entrance (when coming from Shinjuku station). You can also hear the streets from bed. I would have thought from the 26th floor I would be able to hear anything!

Shinjuku nightlife isn't for everyone, but it's an awesome place to be to get elsewhere in the city, do some shopping, and see some local landmarks featured in the Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories opening, including the hotel itself. 20th floor was very quiet with only the occasional soft siren from the city below, but can imagine it would be louder below. The godzilla stuff was not overbearing if you don't care (we didn't) but pretty fun! Housekeeping and staff were awesome and very English-friendly as we asked questions about sending our luggage onward (super easy and cheap, highly recommend it), finding things in Shinjuku, and requesting extras. You need to expect a small room in Tokyo, but I thought we had a decent amount of space for the price and really appreciated the shower/bath room separate from toilet space.

Hotel restaurant is only for breakfast and seems pricey, but we didn't use it so can't speak to quality. If you're not keen on nightlife or bringing kids it might be hard to find a family-friendly option after dark. If you have sensory issues or are 30 or under, beware that the entrance to Toho Cinemas/restaurants (beneath the hotel) has anti-loitering high frequency noise, which I found myself going out of my way to avoid. Not audible beyond that area.

This hotel is very cool with lots of Godzilla memorabilia in the lobby area, the location is withing walking distance to Shinjuku Train Station and is in an area with lots of shopping and restaurants. Reminds me kind sort of like Times Square but much cleaner!!! The hotel does not start until the 8th floor, the signs could have been a bit better but we found it after a bit. The room was super clean and had a very nice tub and shower, the toilet was AMAZING!!! The beds were ok comfortable and the staff was nice but not overly nice, they did not hardly speak English but with Google Translate, not a problem!!!

The buffet was just ok, it was not crazy good, but for the price it was acceptable. The curry was not good at ALL, the chef's special rice was delicious and the grilled salmon was very tasty. The coffee was very good and the sweets were totally yummy. They had breads and croissants, but not much else for western type food, my husband struggled but ended finding a few things to eat, they even have pizza on the buffet which was actually pretty good!!

The hotel location is second to none - right in the heart of the Kabukicho district with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby to keep you entertained. The rooms are small as is typical of most Tokyo hotels in this area, so be cautious if you're travelling with larger luggage as there is little space to stow it away. As expected, everything was cleaned regularly and to a high standard.

Even by Tokyo standards the rooms are a little bit small and can be difficult to navigate if you have two people staying with medium sized luggage.

We really enjoyed our stay , rooms size was more decent than we expected from what we have been reading regarding hotel rooms in Tokyo . A lot of staff willing to help all the time and even an concierge which was a huge bonus . We liked the location , 5 to 10 min walk to a couple of lines and brekafast was pretty good. Overall I would recommend it again

Not. A deal breaker but because it is located in the red district, you can encounter a lot of movement at night , so if you are traveling alone or as a woman alone I wouldn’t recommend.
