honestly for a love hotel you would think otherwise, but the room is spacious, clean, has a bath tub that will fit our height, allows smoking inside the room and doesn’t even smell like smoke, and the staff is very sweet. we really enjoyed our time at D-Wave, and just used it as a regular hotel 😂.

*Lots* to like here. Room is 2-3x the size of anywhere else I've stayed in Japan. Room features are over the top: not only is there actual-living-space including couch and table and countertops, there's a massage chair, a sauna, a jetted tub, a huge walk-in shower, and tons of beauty amenities (and a place to use them) for my partner. We didn't really take advantage of it, but there's a huge tv, surround sound, and karaoke as well. We wanted to give love hotels a try, and we're really glad we did, will be staying at one again when we return to Tokyo.

The bed was *very* firm. Good for back sleepers, but got to my partner and I after a few nights. A bit thicker/softer mattress, and this is probably the only place we'd stay in the city.

Hotel D-Wave is in a great location, walking distance to many bars and restaurants in Shinjuku. The rooms are very big, and the price per night cannot be beat! It is a 'Love Hotel', meaning there are rooms available by the hour, but this did not impact our stay whatsoever. The facilities are extremely clean, our room was made daily and the beds were comfortable. There was even a private sauna in our room! I would not hesitate to stay here again when we return to Hotel D-Wave

Decent location if you're interested in Tokyo nightlife as the hotel is just on the edge of Kabukicho, the main red light district of Tokyo. The room was somewhat crowded but included a lot of great features, such as a sauna, a massage chair, free movies and a great bathroom. Staff were generally very helpful.

One instance with a staff member was quite unpleasant - they were first rude, then ignored me altogether - but otherwise staff were great.

Room has its own sauna, and jacuzzi with TV. Main TV is also huge with great sound system. Got a free souvenir gift bag. And a massage chair! Overall felt pretty luxurious!

Careful on the slippery polished marble style floors! It's also not super easy from Shinjuku station if you have heavy luggage (prepare to carry some flights of stairs).

Great location. Was a bit sceptical with being a love hotel, but it was very discreet and very secure. Lovely polite staff, couldn't do enough to help us. Big room and bathroom with huge spa bath and dark, so you can sleep in. The D Wave would be one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in.

Everything! From the warmest personal greeting from the manager front of house to the exceptionally appointed suite. Abundant amenities and a beautiful gift on arrival. The spaciousness was an unexpected treat in Tokyo. But the staff always make a place!

The room was nice and big we had a sauna and jacuzzi so we could relax after a long day walking The staff were very helpful if you needed anything. It’s in a great location. We were really happy we booked this hotel and would highly recommend it

The room was much bigger than anywhere else. There was a sauna, a steam sauna, Netflix, a massage chair, friendly stuff , elevator usable without card, the location, everything clean... I highly recommend this hotel!!!!
