The room exudes cleanliness, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Good location. The hot spring facilities are truly exceptional, complete with indulgent snacks and a comfortable resting area. The staff members stand out with their remarkable hospitality, consistently going above and beyond. During a challenging midnight when my daughter wasn't feeling her best, the hotel staff provided unwavering assistance, which was incredibly reassuring. Additionally, I encountered a predicament when trying to secure an early morning taxi. However, once again, the staff came to my rescue, ensuring a seamless resolution to my transportation concern. Out of the seven hotels I experienced throughout my Japan journey, this particular establishment offered an unparalleled stay. It has truly set a new standard for my travel experiences. Without a doubt, I look forward to selecting this exceptional hotel once more for my next adventure in Japan.

We always stay here for our Tokyo escapade. Glad to be back after the pandemic. Location is good. Complimentary night ramen and beverages was comforting after a long day outside. Night onsen after a tiring day or early morning onsen was great perk us up. Free after bath ice cream for night and cultured drink in the morning were so considerate.

nothing to dislike about

Our room was larger than other rooms in Japan. The onsen is beautiful, calming and clean. Most of the time I had the onsen all to myself! We enjoyed the free popsicles and the free ramen. The staff was kind and helpful. The room seems pretty well isolated from the sound of the nearby trains. Staying here gives you access to all of the main local attractions as well as multiple train lines and stations.

When we booked we had done a lot of research about tattoos in onsens. We were disappointed that the no tattoo policy wasnt clear when we booked this hotel. I have 14 tattoos and eczema so covering them up every time with adhesive for the onsen would give me an awful skin reaction. To be clear: it's not that the policy exists that is the problem. The problem is that we had searched through many hotels and thought we found one with a tattoo-friendly onsen; when we arrived and they told us no tattoos in the onsen we were upset that it wasnt clearly defined on the booking page.

Fantastic hotel right on the main strip of the Electric City. The onsen was incredible and I used it twice a day. Probiotic drinks available in the morning and ice cream in the evening after use. The room was great for how small Tokyo hotels usually are. If I come back to Akihabara I’ll stay here again.

The pillows were terribly hard. Not unmanageable, but the firmest I had seen in my two week trip to Japan and kind of uncomfortable for a westerner used to plush pillows. The key situation is weird - you need to insert it into a latch for the lights to turn on in the room and leave the keys with the front desk when you go out. None of this was bad, per-say, just sort of awkward.

The location is very good, not far to the subway and the JR Yamanote line. My room was very comfortable, it had a size quite typical for Tokyo, and everything was spotless clean. The communal baths are very nice and I also enjoyed the Japanese breakfast. Further, everyone treated me very kindly. Recommendation.

The Onsen area is amazing and was the reason I chose this hotel. It made such a difference to have a long haul flight divided up with a night here. There are beautiful sashimi places to eat very nearby (walking distance). Staff were excellent and booking a taxi went smoothly.

I do not speak Japanese, so we were communicating through Google translate. Of course, if you are in Japan there is no reason to expect anyone to speak English! However, if someone was employed to take phone calls who does speak some English, it was be a great advantage and attract more English speaking guests.

Hotel is located in a quite street, but not far from centre of the town. Room is small, but surprisingly has all facilities you may need, and quite well organised. The top level onsen is THE best thing we enjoyed our stay. It has inside and outside bath, and nothing is comparable to immersing whole body into hot water and only left face to the cool quite night air. Hotel also offers free ice pop to refresh after bath in the evening and yakult in the morning. And, and and, free ramen every evening! Hahaha! Staff is nice, polite and helpful.

onsen was fabulous! women’s side is much smaller than the photos of this dormy inn onsen, they must be the men’s side. nonetheless it was lovely! the room was small but we made it work with our luggage. very happy with the late night ramen- it was delicious!! there’s a market across the street which was so convenient. actually loved the location! close to a lot of restaurants 😊

room had a weird smell when we first walked in…seemed to get better after a few days. There were scratches on the wall in our room which made it feel a little dingy but for the price and location, it was alright. the onsen and the free ice cream at night sure made up for it!

clean room, nice roof top onsen that was clean, complimentary evening ramen and ice pops, great customer service. convenient location from the ginza line, away from the main crowds but not too far off from the heart of the electric town.

everything was to my expectations and then some. I knew the room would be smaller than american sized hotel rooms but the cleanliness and the quality of the room and bed canceled that out. it was perfect for one person

The Onsen on the Rooftop with one Bath outside and one Inside. Also there is a coldwater tube. It was verry nice! Almost as one in Shigoku countryside region! The japanese room was also really beautiful! Bed was comfy. Nice to mention they offer free ice in the evening and some nice morning drink in the morning hours. But some hidden Best thing - the also have a vending machine with milk. The best thing to drink after relaxing onsen session!! For more relaxation - they have big collection on mangas. But be aware - only in Japanese! But that is fine! Most customers seem to be japanese citizens. Important - i am pretty light to be annoyed by noise. But there was NONE! It was really a pleasure staying there!!

Its sad that the onsen is not tattoo friendly. I had to cover them up with tape (they can be bought everywhere in japan, every drugstore or even don quixote sell those). But thst is japan. Since 2015 nothing has changed regarding this matter. As soon as you leave the cities no one cares sbout tattoos. But as a hotel you should mention this for foreigners before the booking.
