(STAY 7 NIGHTS$2804 AUD); Rooms were larger than most in Japan, we had 2 double beds "comfort" room. crammed with 2 large suitcases alas, we managed to hide one in a corner and play hop scotch to get the window open. The other on the desk and chair. Few items in the closet on hangers and backpacks stashed in there too. Beds comfortable and big Location was great 10 minutes (unless you get lost) to the Shibuya station, Nightclubs a few doors down (heard nothing in the night, we were on the right hand side which faced away from majority of the clubs. Heaps of cafe's and restaurants, we barley touched the surface of all the places near us. Did not try the food within the hotel. Shibuya station is a little confusing at first due to the many entrances to different lines... research before going what lines you need. We used many JR lines, Shinkansen, JY and more... If you're looking for traditional Japanese touches, look elsewhere. Not one person was Japanese but all spoke great Japanese.

(STAY 2 NIGHTS $714 AUD); BEDS: pillows were disgusting texture, clumping all throughout and soft, I slept with mine folded in half. We stayed again at the end of the trip and it was regrettable, we were placed on level 5 in the same room layout, the room was dusty and crusty, the refrigerator was rumbling like it was planning for takeoff and we had to unplug it at night, luckily it was very cold at night so our goods in the fridge did not spoil. Was greatly unimpressed that from our last stay there was a significant drop in quality.

Really good location to be right in Shibuya with lots nearby, all trains are within an 8min walk, tons of options for food, drinks and shopping. Bathroom is small as expected but clean. Bed was comfy enough with decent pillows and also clean. Staff were super helpful when we had issues with a dinner reservation - they really tried to help us solve it and even checked back in. Good location, clean bed/bathroom and helpful staff bump this up to an 8 - not bad for the price

Room was actually a bit bigger than the average in Japan but didn't have anything in the extra space for where you could put your stuff - could use storage or use the extra space better. Bed and bathroom were clean but room in general could use some refurbishing - carpet and wallpaper have seen some better days.

Location is PERFECT. We spent a week in one of the 9th floor suites and everything was exceptional. You cannot beat the location, so much to see & do right out the front door in young hip Shibuya. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable beds (nothing like the hard boards you get in other Asian region business hotels) we did not dine at the small restaurant in the facility, but it had lines of locals frequently so it looked popular.

Better shade/blinds coverings in the regular rooms maybe. Our group of 4 also had a regular room and commented the window covers for the bathroom are a bit lacking. That was the only negative in our group.

Bed was super comfy, even compared to other 4 or 5-star hotels. The rooms with the twin beds were bigger size, but they also have smaller rooms with just a double bed for 2 people. I love how the 2 twin beds were big sizes, almost like it was a small queen size. Kids who slept with their parents were comfy enough. Water pressure at the shower was excellent, it's like being in a spa and was perfect after a whole day out walking around Shibuya. The different floors had different themes, it reminds me of the small art hotels in Europe, only that it has Japanese themes. Location was perfect. I was a bit wary of it being near the bars etc esp since we were a family with small kids but it was pretty safe. We even walked those streets the first night coz we got a bit lost walking back but felt safe. The hotel was also just steps from the restos and shops in the busy part of Shibuya, around Dogenzaka and Udagawacho. There's a Family Mart and 7 Eleven just beside the hotel. Even the JR station Hachiko Exit was just a comfy few minutes walk away. I would definitely stay here again. The rate for the room was a bit high for a 3-star hotel (maybe bec it was on the end of the year holidays) but given the surprisingly great quality of the rooms, amenities and location, it was well worth it. We were a big group and occupied several rooms, check in took a while as we were a big group and there were additional protocols like taking everyone's temperature, etc, but they actually did a good job considering the amount of work needed to get us all settled. The front desk folks were very friendly, greeted us everyday and even gave us some Japanese snacks on Xmas Day. We stayed on the 2nd and 3rd floors while our other parties stayed at the 9th and 12th, and the noise level was acceptable even at the lower floors. The usual sirens and a bit of bar crowd voices but it all ended at the appropriate time at night.

No breakfast option. Although it was easy access to restaurants and convenience stores nearby, it would have been nice to have some sort of breakfast option. The restaurant attached to it seems unused during breakfast time and would have been a good place to provide breakfast.

Location was fantastic! Room was clean with change of towels and bottles of water daily. Family mart just across the road with 7-11 next door. (Should try the various types of beers here, including Coca cola with Tennessee whiskey) Plenty of places to hangout beside the hotel. There's even a legalized hemp shop 2 doors away. Walk a couple of minutes and you're in the centre of it all.

Room was a bit tiny. We have 2 pcs of 24" luggage and it barely fits. Another 30cm width would be welcomed.

Employees were so friendly and accommodating. Hotel is located near train and bus stations.

In an area too close for our comfort to the hundreds of people who frequent the Shibuya Scramble area. It was difficult maneuvering down streets with such huge crowds everyday and every night.

No breakfast option, it would have been nice, even with just some continental breakfast or something simple with coffee. Although convenience store is just nearby, it's more comfortable to have breakfast in the hotel.

location couldn't get any better. Only two minute walk to Shibuya Crossing and the train station. There were three 7-elevens all so close and that really helps for getting money out at their ATMs and late night/early morning food runs.

Pillow cases and toilets didn't feel as clean but very minor.

We were upgraded for a bigger room which was nice! The shower was good, the rest of the bathroom is rather small but normal for Japan. It is under 10 min walk to shibuya crossing and lots of restaurants and bars really close by. Does the job for a short stay! Nice yukatas in the room! All the floors have different themes!

No coffee in the room, only japanese tea...

Great location, staff are very welcoming and friendly. Our room was very comfortable, clean and functional, and contained everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. Absolutely spot on, and an easy stroll to Shibuya Station, shops, bars and restaurants.

The lifts could do with a bit of a makeover, they look a bit tired, that would be my only suggestion. Shame breakfast is no longer an option, however lots of places close by.
