Basically booked this hotel at the last minute as my tour got cancelled very late in the day and I needed to check out of hotel etc but sequently needed somewhere to chill before my late airport flight (there is only so long you can sit in a bar or restaurant after ordering!). This place fit my needs perfectly and looked far more expensive than price I paid. As a genius member I was also upgraded for free which was nice but it was a shame I only spent a few hours here. I would return to Tallink as it has good amenities close by and whilst not in the centre of the old town it is about a 15 - 20 min walk from the old town

The cosy singlebed room was nicely decorated in a modern classic style. The location is great, walking distance to the old town, to the fantastic old market hall by the bus/train station with all the fresh produce, as well as to Riga Ghetto museum or Art Neaveau house and quartier. The airport bus stops under 10 mins walking from the hotel. The hotel reception is opened 24hrs and the breakfast buffet is gigantic although for 18 € it is a question if one really needs to eat there, there is a grocery store in nearby shopping mall just across the street.

Thin walls, small uncomfortable pillows.

The hotel is clean, smart and modern and is in a great location for public transport that is cheap and reliable. Staff are very helpful and the hotel and rooms are well maintained. This hotel is a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing around lovely Riga.

There was a discrepancy about the room booking. We understood that we had upgraded our room to include extra space for seating but this wasn’t available to us. I don’t think this mistake was on the part of the Tallink hotel and the staff answered our questions politely but couldn’t change anything. We didn’t challenge it any further and we were satisfied with the room we had. We didn’t run out but a better supply of tissues and toilet paper would have been good. It seemed a bit rationed.

The quality/ price ratio in this hotel is very good. The hotel appears really modern and luxurious. The staff was nice and they talked really good English. Parking and 24/7 reception were really nice. The location of the hotel is perfect. There is a huge mall right next to the hotel and short walk to the city centre if Riga.

I was accidentally changed the hotel room twice which I got little worried, but after 4 days I got my money refunded back. The breakfast was not included in the hotel room price which was little bit weird and the breakfast would have been 18€ per person which is way too expensive. We ate our breakfast in the mall cafeteria across the street at a price 7€/person.

Rooms were comfortable and quiet. I slept really well there. Location is convenient, not too far from the old town, but you still have to walk 5-10min to reach it.

We booked 2 separate rooms, and my friend's room was not ready when he arrived after check-in. He also says there was a smell in the room. My room was ready, clean and tidy - no smell from my side. So I guess it's just a bit of bad luck on his side.

Great location, beds were super comfortable, shower was exceptionally nice as well. Overall room design was very cozy. Lounge bar offers amazing cocktails.

For some reason mini-sofa was unfolded and fully sheated, even though we booked the room for 2 people only. When we folded it to save space - floor underneath was quite dirty. Also we got 2 single beds instead of a double bed.

Easy to get to, very central - you can walk to the Old Town within 5 minutes. The hotel was clean and spacious - modern interior and helpful staff.

You can’t open the windows and there was a smell of sewerage on the first day due to the fact that the room hadn’t been used for a while but the maintenance team rectified it quickly.

Clean, has a tiny gym, bed was very comfortable.

I was hope for a more Latvian breakfast, instead it was almost full on English breakfast options including a lot of things I cannot eat. Out of bananas every day too so I couldn’t eat the fruit I am not allergic to so I would say breakfast was a but disappointing.

We loved the location and the fact that we could settle down for two nights without worrying about the car (it went down with an elevator into the garage).

The staff gave us the impression that we did not meet the standards they expected from their customers (we surely looked a bit wild after our long journey) and that did not contribute to a warm welcome

Great customer care...helpful and always willing to help. The room was comfortable, had a kettle available, TV was functional and a very clean hotel. The hotel is close to the train station with excellent sound proofing.

The Internet was coming and going often but nothing major. I liked this hotel very much.
