Spacious room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was nice and fresh. Location is great, right next to a beautiful forest which is lovely for a morning walk. Plenty of parking space, free in the weekend. First three spots belong to the hotel and are free every day. Bus stop to the city centre is close by and free like in all of Luxemburg. The receptionist gave us a nice car route through the country.

Staff/reception is mostly absent so not very hospitable. We had some issues figuring out the parking situation and opening the side door with a pin code as there was no one there to ask these things.

Hotel Sieweburen was this delightful tavern/inn on the outskirts of Luxembourg City. I had a delicious Cordon Bleu dinner the first evening I arrived and on the second day I followed a hiking trail into the forest which was just a few meters behind the hotel. The resutarant deserts were delicious; on Tuesday afternoon I simply ate a Tiramisu, Baba au Rhum and a beer for lunch...after that I went to bed. The hotel was nice and quiet, the staff were friendly and respectful and the breakfast was readily prepared each morning at 07.00

I stayed for 3 nights i.e. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and finally left on Thursday. I like the restaurant so much however I was a little disappointed that it was closed on Tuesday (evening) and Wednesday - I would gladly have eaten there every night. The breakfast was quite basic and I would have liked some more variety e.g. fried potatoes, scrambled eggs and bacon.

The staff of the hotel are very friendly and helpful! They are happy to go out of their way to accommodate your every need! The restaurant has a fabulous selection of authentic food for the location, and the location is beautiful just outside the city, with calm and inspiring walks through the woods behind the hotel. Access to the city centre is easy with frequent buses and a variety of other restaurants are within walking distance toward the centre. All in all I found my 7 night stay very good value for money and I enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel and the friendliness and welcoming of its staff.

Arriving during the summer months, I found the single, road facing, room very hot in the night, and because I needed the window open, also rather noisy when I was trying to sleep. I would suggest that a fan be placed in rooms that are affected in this way. In hindsight I realise that I should and could have asked for a fan during my stay, so this is not any fault of the hotel.

Great location out of the city and on the edge of a forest. Free national public transport means you can leave the car at the hotel and catch the free bus a five minute walk away. We also got the trams in the city for an air-conditioned sit down and to take a look at other places further out from the centre of Luxembourg. Didn't eat at the hotel as kitchen was closed two of the neghts we stayed

Room was clean and basic. Lack of air con or a fan made sleeping uncomfortable on warm nights. However a lady cleaning the room next door brought out a fan and gave it to us, so they are available. Drinks making facilities would be a welcome addition

Small cute rustic hotel; not many rooms so more quiet for the stay as i wanted to relax afterwork and wkend in nature; suppose its run by a family, who pay special attention to all (e.g.helped me with suitcase as no elevator); very comfortable bed and pillows, bathtube (rare for the hotels in the country); location next to a park and the forest made it even more quiet stay with birds singing, it was extraordinary for the evening walk afterwork; if not by car, max 10min by bus to the center; easy self check-in in the night (the flight was delayed to the night)

I would suggest a bit more variety for the breakfast, maybe to add a bit of vegetables and another type of eggs like a standard hotel omlet

Very clean and spacious rooms. The woman helping at breakfast time was so nice and fun. The dinner I had was delicious ...a lot of food for a great price. I liked the area. Peace and quiet!!

If you are busy traveling without internet access & you are starting your stay on a Wednesday, you might miss the email like I did, that the hotel is completely closed on Wed & you need a pass code to get in. I had been traveling a lot before then, & that was an aggravating experience to not have been able to know I had to check my email .

We were very close to Luxembourg City, without being right in the middle of it. The hotel is beautiful, and it's location in a suburb was perfect. If you go at the weekend, the parking was free, so that was ideal for us. The staff could not overall have been more helpful if they had tried, and we felt very welcome. The public transport around Luxembourg City was free and there was a bus stop really nearby, it was easy to get into the city and perfect as it meant no driving. The rooms were comfortable, and the location was peaceful, except a loud humming that was coming from somewhere below us. We ate in the restaurant, and the food was amazing, just make sure that you don't order a starter and a main course as the main course was huge 🙂.

The room we were located in had a very loud humming noise on and off all through the night. We think that it was possibly a large commercial fridge/chiller in the Kitchen, but I couldn't be sure as to the source of the noise.

Lovely large bedroom with all facilities. Free parking . Convenience of getting to centre on public transport

Ordered spaghetti but it was really poor quality . To be told by the staff that it’s not an Italian restaurant and the meal was prepared for the kids menu was very annoying considering food is overpriced. However waiter Mario and his colleague were professional and sympathetic

The hotel is located near a main road, it is easy to find and close to the Plateau de Kirchberg for those who go there for work reasons. Our room was spacious and the bathroom had a nice walk-in shower. The restaurant has both traditional and seasonal fare as well as lighter and more modern options, which we really appreciated. My asparagus dish was excellent. There are nice nature walk paths just around the corner. This is a truly independent establishment, not part of a chain!

The only problem is noise from the busy road when you are outdoors. Please take note that the hotel cannot provide free parking, you have to pay for parking in the metres outside from 8:30am onwards. They say this in the confirmation email but we’d not read it carefully enough and got a ticket. When we said reception could have told us they at first said well we sent this info for you, and they were right. However, they decided voluntarily not to charge us for a pet fee to make up for this, even if they didn’t need to. We left feeling very positive about the place!

The location was excellent and beautiful. Luxembourg has one of the best public transit systems we have ever used. Very pet friendly as well

We were not crazy about the restaurant. It was on the expensive side . Husbands meal was too much and mine was not enough. This was also the only place where no attempt at helping us with the la gauge was made.
