Friendly staff, comfortable, clean, quiet, and spacious room.

It’s quite old, needs some rennovation

Very modern room with touch button controls. Very comfortable. The breakfast was with a very wide variety of choices from hot food, continental, and extensive range of other foods. The reception staff were very friendly, speaking multiple languages.

On day two of our stay the room keys stopped working and one of the rooms was not cleaned until 16:30 meaning we could not return to the room. The reception staff mistakenly thought we had checked out. The restaurant is modern and clean but that is it. The staff were very attentive to the guests that wore suits, they poured their wine, and checked in on them regularly. My family however, were not. We tried a second night and booked for a room on their terrace. On arrival we were told we could not sit outside as it was too cold at 20 degrees. We were agin left asking for service.

The location and facility was quite central to the many things that we hoped to see. Easy walks to Notre Dame, monuments, bridges, and old town. Restaurants and shopping was quite close as well, and we enjoyed a very nice meal and breakfast. I will likely return in the future!

Parking was an inconvenience. I went to garage as directed and was given a ticket to proceed. Zero spots available and three underground levels. Many spots had grease pen names or reservations written on signs - but zero spots even though it permitted entrance. Several trips around the block and valet parking fixed the issue! A very minor inconvenience, but a frustrating nonetheless.

The spa was amazing!

The mini bar and snacks in the room where unreasonable priced. For example: mixed nuts for 8 euros..it seems that luxury at Le Royal is about money instead of class, which is the opposite of being chique. Shame, in this way Le Royal places itself (as a 5 star hotel) into the 'Hostel' category. True luxury comes in the form of offering exceptional hospitality & additional services complimentary, not by selling mixed nuts for 8 euros, you are not Easyjet. If you need the money, just raise the price per room by 8 euros.

The location was amazing and the underground parking very practical. The personal was also very personable and always available.

It would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room..

It felt luxurious and the welcome was friendly. The hotel was located very central, so that I could easily start my city exploration by foot from there.

There is much to like about the comfort of this hotel. I personally prefer the Charme of smaller places, but it was a nice change of pace to stay at this modern hotel. What would have been nice to have is an electric water kettle and tea and coffee options right inside of the room. Also a bathrobe would have been good to have in the room to enjoy the spa and swimming pool coming prepared.

The hotel location is perfect to go around the sightseeing spots, clockwise or counterclockwise. The breakfast is wonderful with comfortable environment and good quality foods. The waitresses are friendly to serve.

The room service didn’t meet the standards as a first class hotel due to the following things: (1) The toilet is not well cleaned when we first arrived. (2)The toilet paper was marginally provided, not being well refilled. (3)The room was not cleaned up yet when we came back from outside. (4)Someone opened the door without knocking when we were in the room .

Fantastic hotel with 5 star service and facilities. Really enjoyed the pool and spa. Lovely quiet location convenient for the old town. They park your car for you so just pull up outside the front door. A bowl of fruit on arrival as well. Staff were polite and friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms were elegant and a good size. The pool is a really good size for doing lengths and the gym is well equipped. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice spacious rooms with great bathrooms (one of them even with a Japanese style toilet!). Amazing breakfast buffet with lots of choices, nice wellness area too. Beds are comfortable and we asked to change the pillows (they have a whole menu of pillows to chose from).

The onsite restaurant (Amerys). One night we decided to have dinner there. We ordered the swordfish carpaccio (2x), but without any comment it came out as a salmon carpaccio (we wouldn't have ordered it if we had known the swordfish wasn't available). For a main course I ordered the "Sole meunière" that should have come with at least potatoes and we ordered extra French Fries for the table. The potatoes nor the fries never came and when we asked for them, they just reacted "oh, you didn't receive the potatoes". No, indeed, and then nothing happened. So, we felt that a plain sole without anything else for 61 euros was a rip off and they should have told us something about the swordfish carpaccio... No excuses, no compensation, nothing...
