The Novotel has the best location. A 1 minute walk to Pavillion and the walkway to KLCC Suria. Surrounded by restaurants and convenience store 7 11 opposite. We used to stay here and call it the Novo smell or the Novo hell, before its refurbishment. We are glad to say that now the Novotel is great! The refurbished rooms and dining area are super cool and clean with new furniture. The breakfast has improved too. It used to be the dreaded 3 melon combination for fruit. One day there were 7 different fruits available. There is also freshly pressed juice. One day had watermelon, orange, carrot and green juice - fantastic. There are 4 cuisines western, malaysian, noodle station and Indian. Coffee is from a machine not barista made and was OK. The staff were super organised and friendly. Love the filtered water in the rooms, no more plastic bottles and the big bottles of soap, shampoo, conditioner etc like they do in Japan. No more mini plastic bottles. The TV was great. The linens were 100 per cent cotton. Good bathroom amenities. We'll definitely be back at the price point we paid. It's a great 4 star hotel.

The shower cubicle was very small. You had to turn side ways to avoid hitting your arms on the glass. Although the mattress was new and Slumberland brand it was a touch too hard. But those who like hard beds will love it. You can never get good pastries in hotels in Asia, it's just one of those things.

The location of the hotel was amazing but more so the service and attitude of your team at the hotel. It is so important in the hospitality business to have people helpful and smiling. It really matters. I made a note of the names of your team members I met so I could mention their names. At the reception there were Ryna, Fairus, Dino and at the concierge it was Rashid. I also found your Manager Adeeb very pleasant to talk to. The hotel was clean, and your room service staff was also efficient. Sorry to also point out that in my opinion the breakfast was not that great. The layout was too scattered and often found items finished and it was refilled on request. Eg salted butter, flavored yogurt. There was only one option of cheder cheese which did not look too appetizing. Even the choice of breads was not that great. All in all, a wonderful experience as I mentioned in the start.

Normally guests are rushed to go to work and want to have a quick breakfast. Waiting for refills creates frustration. Not a matter which cannot be easily resolved.

The overall condition of the hotel meets my expectation. Excellent stay with family.

The steps at the entrance of the hotel has no railing for older people hang on to to climb up and down.

The staff were fantastic! special mention to Dino in reception, Andy at breakfast and Lina & Yena in the spa. Housekeeping team were also lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable bed and room. Great location - 5 minute walk to the Convention Centre/Aquarium which has a pedestrian tunnel into KLCC shopping centre and Twin Towers. 10 minute walk to Bukit Bintang which takes you to Central Market etc. Right next to Pavillion Shopping Mall. Nice pool (if a little small).

Breakfast is ok but the drinks station really needs to be kept cool - I couldn’t drink the water or juice as they were warm. The corridors are very very hot - could do with air con. No towels available at the pool.

We loved everything about our stay here. The room was spacious, clean and was serviced daily. The king bed was super comfy as well. Staff were amazing, very friendly, accomodating and every encounter with a staff member was polite and helpful. Credits to the concierge attendant on these dates. He was super friendly, went above when it came to assisting us and every guest there. Didn’t get his name but he was awesome. Breakfast buffet was delicious, great range of food and beverage options. Hotel was in a great location close to everything you needed. Pavilion was across the road. KLCC Park, towers aquarium etc Jalan Alor night market and more were in walking distance within 10 minutes. Grab was also easy to pick up and drop off from the hotel. We loved Novotel

We had a late flight on the day we checked out and enquired about being able to check out late but were told we had to book another night which was expensive considering we only wanted an extra few hours. But was fine as we booked somewhere closer to the airport as it worked out better anyways

The location of Novotel KL is excellent. It is close to the Pavillion Mall and other central areas but quieter. The staff were very helpful, especially Sharif who was always courteous and friendly. We were fortunate enough to be in a newly refurbished room that felt modern and clean. We loved the filtered drinking water that was available and more than adequate toiletries especially the Body Wash. We didn't take up the breakfast option as surrounding food courts and restaurants in Pavillion were plentiful. We will stay here again if we return to KL in the future.

We felt we had everything we needed in our room. Perhaps there could have been a clock in the room and more spacious room options. We were lucky to have booked the Executive King which was 32 m2 which was just bordering on 'tight' to accommodate 3 people. Nonetheless, our extra bed option was fulfilled and everything was pretty seamless.

Location especially if you like to shop as you're in walking distance to major shopping centres/malls. Concierge (I think his name was Sharif) was very helpful, always having a smile on his have. Great idea to have filtered water in the bathroom so you can always refill your bottle when needed.

The twin beds were very small and the bathroom was squishy. There was also an unpleasant smell in the bathroom at times not knowing if it was from the shower or toilet so thinking something to do with the water. Breakfast was okay, just a shame that you can't choose how you want particular things eg eggs as you're able to order in other hotels of this calibre

Staff were friendly and very helpful.Great location...opposite a couple of malls and 5 mins walk from the mono rail station...10 mins walk to the KLCC tower via a covered walk way. Great value for money...accommodation, food and drinks at the bar. One nice little touch...the rooms have smart TVs so you can connect your phones to them and watch Netflix on the TV via your phone. There's a Grab pick up point opposite the hotel as well as a 7/11.

+ Prime location a few minutes from Pavilion KL shopping centre, the largest (10-storey) shopping centre in Kuala Lumpur. In the heart of the city. + Quick check-in and checkout. + Friendly staff. + Clean rooms. + Amenities such as pool and gym.

- Breakfast buffet was repetitive and lacking in variety, though still more options than Australian/European hotels. - No baggage handling. Which is expected at this price. It would have been a nice bonus considering I was absolutely exhausted after arriving on day 1 at 10pm.

Excellent and silent room, great housekeeping and services, including the laundry one. Hotel is conveniently located next to the very elegant Pavillion shopping mall. There is an air-conditioned pedestrian bridge that connects the mall, the hotel and the KL Convention Center so that you do not have to walk in the heat or in traffic (or both!)

The free wifi was just so slow I would consider it as "not working"; it took me one hour to send one email and no way of sending pictures attached to it, anyway. It was OK for mobile phones connections though
