✅Love the ambience of the hotel. ✅ Room was really spacious. ✅ Bed was very comfortable and pillows were fluffy enough. Had a really good sleep after a good day of shopping and feasting in KL. ✅ Toilet was huge and the bathtub was da bomb. Good for 2 pax in the tub. Got soaked while watching TV… ✅ Breakfast spread was fantastic! Managed to make do without having lunch throughout our stay.

❎ Location. Pasar Seni station that is connected to many parts of KL was 15mins walk away. Thankfully, it was easy to get “Grab” to and from hotel to our destination. ❎ Shops / convenient stores were also not anywhere nearby. ❎No complimentary parking. Would be great if hotel provided complimentary parking for guests.

I loved that this is a historical building in a nice location. The colonial style felt authentic. Beautiful rooms, well maintained. Nice music in all areas of the hotel and great cocktails at the bar. Staff very polite and courteous.

Needs more staff at the Orchid tea room as guest were waiting for long to be served. Also for a 5 star hotel wait staff should be trained to explain each pastry or sandwich selection to the guests. The singing group should be restored to its original 6 piece band. The hotel reduced staff due to Covid and is not restoring the staffing to what is needed to run and service a 5 star hotel.

Location of the hotel was excellent. It was very close to klcc and many tourist spots. Lovely for an evening walk out to the city. The room was great. Staff very nice and helpful. They were nice enough to give me an early check in since I had an early morning flight.

There weren't great options for a vegetarian in breakfast. There could have been more fruits and salads atleast.

The room & hotel design/concept

Breakfast spread was meh. 4/10 food not many choices, pastry is hard like rock. Other than that nothing impressive. some Staff also looking at us like we dont have money or in other words not suitable to stay there.

The main areas are spotless. The staff are friendly and helpful (though not as much as in others in the area i've stayed). The style of the hotel is great. There are two pools, both nice, the roof one nicely secluded (would be useful if the staff informed of this at some point.

We booked via booking.com and was offered a 'free upgrade' that however would have put us in the tower block which I didn't want. I refusedthe upgrade but on arriving found we were stillin the tower block (despite the comment added to the booking. We have to pay considerably more on check in to be in the older part of the hotel. In the older suite, there's a row of tiles that are prominent as a feature that run around the bathroom. These were thick with dust on top. There was NO view at all from the windows as they just looked onto the tower block. Breakfast seems to be always served cold (inc, eggs sauages etc.) even though they look as though they're being kept warm.

The colonial ambience is amazing from the moment you walk through the door with high quality rooms to match. The building clearly has a long history and this is evident, although the hotel has been recently upgraded. It is very clean and beautifully maintained. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. Breakfast was good with a lovey variety of choice.

Our only issue was that it’s not a good location for popping out to find a bar or restaurant - in fact it is quite awkward to walk anywhere. We did find a nice route through the park at the back of the hotel, but the the more more popular areas are a good 20 minute walk or a taxi ride.

Remarkable experience with this hotel and was so pleased with the service. The room was spacious and the bed so comfy, we got two bolsters and six pillows. The design just wonderful,  the bathtub with the tv. Breakfast was fantastic! SARAH the customer service, went above and beyond to help me find the perfect birthday dinner place and make a reservation for us! She even approached us after check out and ask about our dinner and share her ideas what to do in KL. Its just her passion!

Here's a weird thing. We checked in around 4pm and left around 8pm. When we returned to the room around 12am plus, the bed was already made. What prompted them to enter the room at night? The only thing they did was make our bed. Even our coffee cup wasn't cleared, the towel wasn't changed, and the water bottle wasn't replaced. We just checked in, showered, and went out to dinner, so we didn't request room service because there was none to clean

The breakfast was truely exceptionel; I could have stayed there untill dinner. Phantastic room, with several cooking places, chairs and furnitures well distributed to create quitness. Exceptionel professionel and patient waiters. A wast selection of choices. The afternoon tea is something very special with piano play and singing, special decorated rooms an orchide room etc. Botanical garden is only 2 km away. We strongly recommend to install the GRAB app get around for no money very convinient and comfortable. The professional handling of my credit card concern by a woman at the reception (forgot her name) A very nice gym/fitness next to the pool, which is big enough for swimming

At checkin I paid the room and withdraw an extra amount to avoid having cc details lying around. I found out when my account was slightly negative they simple charged my cc without asking, which of course made my 1st effort redundant.

I have worked in 5 star hotels for more than 7 years now, and The Majestic could be the best hotel I have ever experienced! The main reasons for this are: The stunning design and furnishings, elegantly executed and no expense spared to achieve their colonial vision. From the entrance, to the restaurants, reading room, smoking room and bedrooms they have fantastic attention to detail and you really feel you are in a history manor, rather than a Marriott hotel. The staff are unbelievably friendly and attentive and there are so many of them! You are never without someone around to assist and they have impeccable manners, perfect English and always wanting to help. Especially our waiter at breakfast, Raihan, he was delightful and a true asset to their business. I asked if they had guava juice and hashbrowns and he said they did not today, but he had already asked chef to make them for us especially. What service! The buffet at breakfast, lunch and dinner is out of this world. Honestly like being in an Aladdin's cave of every food you can imagine. The quality, quantity and variety surpasses any restaurant I have seen, let alone a hotel. I do not know how they do it 3 times a day, 7 days a week. I had to take a video, as it was just so impressive. Outstanding presentation too. A totally exceptional experience, we are so pleased we chose this hotel!

The swimming pools were disappointing as both are by a main road, the traffic is so loud it is not a relaxing place to be at all. I strongly recommend they install a waterfall fountain flowing into the pool, which would mask the noise a little. We were also gutted to discover the spa was only treatments, there was no hot tub or steam room or sauna. We were looking forward to chilling in the spa, so this was most frustrating. They should make this clear online to avoid guests' disappointment. However these were the only negatives of our stay, so we would still recommend and we would come back for sure!

The Junior suites are just beautiful, huge with a lovely bath and even a dining table. They represent extraordinary value for money. The buffet dinner was outrageously good, with outstanding choice as was the included breakfast buffet. We also had a lovely a la carte dinner at Contango complete with a pianist and base duo playing beautiful "old time" music. The staff were so lovely and friendly and even sent us on our way with a packed breakfast and cafe latte as we had to leave for the airport at 5.30am. This is our third stay here and we weren't disappointed.

please bring back the in room directory! The App just doesn't give the information needed. No opening times of restaurants. Also having to peer at it on a phone is not easy and convenient. It is a little far from the "Petronas" centre but there are regular shuttle buses and taxis are cheap.
