After trying a couple of private airbnbs and finding the quality and cleanliness unpredictable, I chose to try Le Meridien, which turned out to be a great decision. reliably clean, quite new, quite spacious (the upgrade to the corner room is worth it) and the hotel has really helpfull staff, nice pool, etc. it's central, you arrive to the hotel straight from the airport by train. have absolutely nothing negative to say about my stay and will return if I am ever back in KL

the only thing is that during the weeeknds you cannot get in touch with the reservations department via the booking site, which is puzzling, and inconvenient, as you have to call up, pull up your details etc. never experiences that with any hotel before

Superb location. 30 mins via KLIA Express from the airport but do buy your tickets on-line before your arrival because its so much cheaper than buying over the counter. Its a 5 mins walk to the hotel once you arrived at KL Sentral. Lots of food in the area if you arrive with an empty stomach. Courteous and professional staffs at the reception counter. We got to check-in an hour early. Room and the toilet is great with both bath tub and rain shower available. Housekeeping was prompt and accommodating. We'll return again. Thank you Le Meridien.

A little inconvenience - the water drain out slow at the wash basin. A sign of impending choke.

Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur distinguishes itself with exceptional cleanliness and an inviting aroma upon entry. The staff's dedication to service is the cornerstone of the hotel's charm, consistently demonstrating the highest standards of hospitality. The rooms, with their superior bedding and whisper-quiet air conditioning, offer comfort that exceeds their visual representation in photos. The hotel thoughtfully provides four bottles of water daily, a gesture well beyond the norm. Breakfast is a standout, catering to a variety of dietary needs with a rich selection of vegetables, smoothies, local dishes, and fruits, including the delectable jackfruit. The smoked salmon is particularly noteworthy, and the addition of avocado would further enrich the diverse offerings. The chef's adept and joyful preparation of Indian delicacies adds to the morning delight, and the staff's outstanding service enhances the overall experience during breakfast at Latest Recipe and dinner at Gastro Central.

The in-room amenities would benefit from the inclusion of sulfate-free shampoo options. A minor issue with bathrobe replenishment was efficiently resolved after a prompt response to our feedback. The breakfast's egg presentation at Latest Recipe and the overly roasted nuts, as well as the less-than-ideal tea and coffee—potentially due to water quality—could be refined. Despite these areas for enhancement, the breakfast experience remains commendable. In contrast, the Gastro Central's dining does not quite reach the high bar set by Latest Recipe, with some dishes needing a boost in flavor. Yet, these points are minor when set against the backdrop of the staff's outstanding hospitality, which leaves a lasting impression of warmth and excellence.

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst my husband had business meetings in KL. From the location (just a short walk from Sentral Station through the complex) to the breakfast buffet, we found the hotel to be comfortable, clean and with excellent service. The breakfast buffet was nothing short of amazing with every sort of food imaginable, from Western style cooked breakfast, to freshly pressed juices, to asian choices and even sushi! The room was very nice.

We visited the bar Gastro Sentral and the whole experience was a disaster. We waited 20 minutes for some water to arrive when we first sat down. then another half an hour for our food to arrive. We only ordered 2 burgers and a side of fries. We had finished the burgers by the time the fries arrived. the place was not busy at all and we were only one of maybe 2 other tables who were all on dessert, so there was no excuse for the poor service. The Malaysians don't know how to say sorry! A simple 'sorry about that, we will do XXX for you..' is all that is required. We removed the service charge from the bill and that caused complete confusion. the toilets are also a long walk up stairs from the bar and main atrium of the hotel.

My wife and I stayed in the Meridien for 4 nights during a three-week holiday in the region. The hotel is located adjacent to the KL Sentral railway station. This proved to be a huge bonus, as it enabled travelling around the city on the integrated rail transit network a doddle. It was just a short walk from the hotel lobby to the station and the adjacent shopping mall. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was superb and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Although our room was clean and comfortable, the technology was confusing (we are in our 70s!). There was a central module for controlling the lights and air-conditioning. However, controlling my wife’s beside light from my side of the bed made no sense. There was also a low granite step into the bathroom which we covered with a towel, as it was a serious trip/toe stubbing hazard. The high sink meant that it was impossible to clean behind it, making it a dirt trap. We tried the swimming pool but found it rather too cold for comfort – strange with ambient temperatures in the mid-30s. This probably explained why it was almost empty. We did not eat the dinner buffet as it was closed on a Monday and Tuesday. So we ate at the neighbouring Hilton Hotel.

This is a really great option for KL. The location, adjoining KL Sentral station is fantastic - jump off the train from the airport (takes 35 minutes) and you are right at the hotel doorstep, and take the LRT to either KLCC or Bukit Bintang, or walk over to the park.. Rooms are very comfortable with floor-to-ceiling windows. There is a lovely large swimming pool, a genuine gym and several good restaurants on-site. You also have access to all the facilities of the adjoining Hilton hotel. It's definitely worth getting Executive Lounge access if possible. The breakfast buffet is excellent and changes daily.

The hallway on our floor (31) needed vacuuming as there were lots of bits of paper or something strewn around. We were there for 4 days and it was never vacuumed. Definitely not the standard one would expect from a 5 star hotel.

Everything is perfect at the property especially the food which is very diverse from Malaysian and Asian cousin to Mediterranean and International food. The location is optimum and it's recommended for those first timers because the hotel is right beside the airport train station. In addition, the gym and spa are amazing and the pool is extraordinary.

The overall review of the hotel is v. good except for the fact that it's a bit crowded with many guests from around the world. Maybe it's due to its excellent service.

This is a conveniently located hotel that is right next to the central station and a shopping mall. It's very easy to access other parts of KL, and the public transport system is better than in most other cities. The hotel is clean, the staff are polite and efficient, and there is excellent soundproofing in the rooms (you can't hear any of the neighbours or the traffic outside, even though each room offers spectacular views of downtown KL). As always in KL, you get more than you pay for.

Everything was OK or better.

1) location 2) cleanliness 3) easy - check-in 4) the room was clean (5 stars) kudos to the cleaning staff (please recognize them) 5) nice pool view 6) nice pool 7) Great breakfast spread - although I can't eat everything, Chef Rashid - makes good curries 8) The duty manager - Fadzly, Lisa and Eddie who served us 9) convenient to take the trains just opposite the hotel 10 ) There is a NU Sentral opposite the hotel - just a cross over overall - all the staff at their own workstations during breakfast are nice!

Wonder if they could keep some spare face mask - just in case. I found they did not have any mask when I asked them if they had any, As I am a visitor, I also found they still had to wear a mask when on board the trains.

I missed a flight and needed a place to stay in for the night very quickly and I booked Le Meridien not having expectations to be honest, but when it was time to leave I wished I stayed longer and wished that I had stayed there from the beginning of my trip. First, location location LOCATION. It's in KL Sentral and is CONNECTED to the main train station by a bridge. Which means you can land in KL, take a train for 55 ringgits, be at the hotel 30 minutes later ... soooo convenient, which also means that you can get down from the hotel and go to many other places using the train. The train station has a decent mall where you can shop, exchange money, eat and basically be out and about but only until 10 PM. The breakfast was an absolute feast. Sit near the window and enjoy the view of towers and greenery while having a hearty meal. Would definitely stay there again.

The room left something to be desired. Not small but not spacious either. The grey colors of the door, corridor and walls were a bit gloomy. But it's not something that would stop me from going there again and having a great time.
