The Swiss-Bellhotel Kuantan is a solid hotel that definitely exceeded my expectations and deserves credit. The hotel is situated across the jambatan Tanjung Lumpur bridge and the hotel is about 2.6km from the bridge (1.4km by foot). Due to the location of the hotel, it gives off a lovely ambience and is extremely quiet despite being very close to the city. All staff members are extremely professional from dress and bearing to overall manners. Most amenities were at a high standard except the gym but due to the ample space and the uniqueness it has. I believe there's a lot of potential for this gym to be very distinctive. An additional feature that I love about this place was the fish pond to the entrance of the gym which contained a large amount Koi Fish that you could feed by asking the friendly staff members. To conclude, whoever is visiting Kuantan that requires a hotel to stay at should consider this place. I would strongly encourage you to stay here. It has everything you need for all types of visitors and still very close to the city. I've stayed at other reputable hotels/resorts in Kuantan like the Hyatt and Zenith but if you're like me and wanna get the most out of your money I believe this hotel might be for you.

Let's start with the negatives. Unfortunately this hotel's Gym is a bit of a let down. All the weight machines were broken and two out of the four cardio machines were broken as well. There are a few weights that could be used in the gym but there was only one bench in the gym making it difficult to train as only one person could use it obviously. Furthermore all the excercise balls were flat which could not be used. If this gym had at least two flat benches, working weight machines, cardio machines and other accessories. This gym would be satisfactory.

The surrounding area is okey.. our room was facing seaview but not suitable for swimming..Looks like muddy beach.

No available buffet for lunch or dinner but can order from cafe till 10.00pm. Pool not so big as seem in the picture.

The room is huge and comfortably organised. But the view...so beautiful and calming

The staff at the lobby. When I arrived in my flipflop and was walking away from my car..maybe they thought I was from a cheap car... I asked where to check in and the staff just point and somewhere without looking at me and then quickly attending to a newly arrived Merc. Is that how your staff should assist your guest? Being double standard and all. Didn't even offer to ask about my luggage and all. So sad

The sea view room was spectacular! I especially love the sunset (the room has sunrise view) time when you could see fishing boats trailing back to the dock. The room was spacious with generous functional items like the long luggage rack, bar table, study desk etc. The shelves, cabinet and counter at the sink were also very functional. The rooms were designed with much thought given to the comfort and convenience of patrons. Well done! The housekeeping team was also very efficient.

Some of the items such as the study and the bedside lamps were unable to be used. One did not even have a light bulb.

The nice seaview ,room is spacious n there are 2 rooms n 2 toilets in the family room.The breakfast is tasty n varieties .I love the nasi minyak n the curry chicken.This hotel is near my fav ikan bakar restaurant.Just walking distance.They also have parking on site at a fee .So convenient for me coz I brought my elderly mom n hadicapped brother.No need to walk far.They also have promotion for steamboat where you n family can eat at the hotel for reasonable price.There is sky bar restaurant, so lovely nice place for dinner .

The toilet in my room smells bad.Maybe frm the septic tank.But I close the toilet door n spray perfume .The fridge is not working well.My tarts got soaked in fridge water.So sad me.

The location was strategic, nearby restaurants & cafes (must try Watak Kopi cafe), street arts and less than 10 minutes to reach Menara 188. Breakfast spread was splendid with various types of food ranging from our local favourites (nasi lemak / wantan mee/ all types of noodles), pastries, fresh fruits, cereals and wide choices of drinks. The best thing about our room is the seaside view, the wide and comfy bed and the bathroom, we loved the design. Friend staff and even though we were there during the weekend, our stay was still very peaceful and calming.

My nose is very sensitive to dust, especially at night. Maybe can improve some vacuum work on/around the bed.

The room is clean and comfortable, the temperature controller in room is working flawlessly, i really like the ocean view, breakfast is very good 👍

1. The wooden floor at pool feel not solid and a lot of patches, need to be very carefull when walk on it 2. Pool is quite small and all kids can enter, since beach is muddy and less ppl go to beach, the pool is too crowded 3. stairs to beach is under maintenance, need to climb down the rocks to go to beach 4. only one water hose to clean mud off our feet, need to que for this

Clean room, spacious, very comfortable beds. Clean toilet. Nice view of the sea by the pool. Breakfast decent quality. I think I would consider this place again on next visit.

The clearing of table during breakfast was slow, we just clear it ourselves most of the time. The private beach wasn't too tempting because of the color of the water. The wooden planks by the pool is not well maintained and are rotting away. Some of the items in the room need maintenance like the toilet door that doesn't slide well and the bar stool metal that is rocking and coming off

The beach environment is soothing and tranquil, the vast swimming pools, playgrounds wet ad dry are so satisfying for my kids, and the overall garden decoration are so mesmerizing. We enjoyed our spacious 2-bedroom apartment with comfy sofa, bed, beautiful lighting, wooden floors and plenty of space for the family to chill. Food is good, and staff are friendly. Good ambience, good amenities, good company and good times all around.

Please increase the number of towels in the bathroom to accommodate big families.
