Excellent helpful staff. Pleasant room. Ideal location. Food very good. Excellent value for money. Will stay there again.

Can’t really think of anything. It was my second stay on the hotel and I went back because I was very happy with it the first time.

Anna was so helpful and very friendly. Owner Malcolm was also very friendly. I had fresh towels and sheets daily. Fridge and kettle in my room. Swimming pool was lovely and overall a great seafront location!

No hot water for shower but not a major issue as it was so hot outside! The owner/manager Paolo at La Legunas was extremely rude to me as accused me for not paying for a 5 euro drink in front of people which I subsequently proved wrong by showing him my credit card receipt. He then said that it was a friends receipt that I was talking to by the pool and not mine. I then proved him wrong again as showed him my credit card which corresponded with the receipt number and asked for an apology. He would not apologise to me which upset me immensely.

The staff were amazingly helpful and cheerful. My partner was rushed into hospital and they made a difficult time much easier. Thank you! For a 'budget' hotel the main room and bathroom were of a fantastic size. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant attached served very good food. The surrounding area is wonderful, peaceful with loads of areas to relax. Several very good places to eat, the perfect spot. If you want style over substance don't come here. If you want somewhere wonderful to relax, this can't be beaten.

Great location near the sea and sandy beach, close to a natural wonder - St. Peter's Lake with an optical illusion, the best pizza, hamburgers, pasta and wine in the hotel restaurant, friendly staff both in the hotel and in the restaurant, room cleaning and change of towels every day, air-conditioned room and bathroom.

The bed is a bit short for a European above 175 cm. The Maltese are mostly not tall :) A warning must be written on the front door so that the residents of the hotel hold the door. It claps very loudly, especially at night.

Very good location. Easy to take bus from airport and bus stop is just 100 meters from hotel. Also is very easy to get to capital Valletta by bus 91.Hotel is quiet and small. Just 100 meters from sandy beach. Staff is amazing and they helped me with everything, they also gave me european electrical plug. Breakfast was good, you can choose english or italian and some third one. I tried english, 8.euros,.it was good. But also italian was very good. Two fresh baked croissants with two different nutellas. 6 euros and coffee is included. Marsaskala, small town is just 850 straight walking. There is also in sell good and cheap and huge pizza slices. Just.1.90. My bed was good. Stay in hotel was peaceful and relaxing. So I defenetly recommend this hotel,.specially for solo travellers with limited buget🙂

Nice hotel, clean, swimming pool, good food at the restaurant with 10% discount for the guests. The bust stop right there, beach very close. Nice choice of breakfast by the pool for good pirice. Recommend!

Everything was great, it was a quiet hotel, the only problem is that if you want to visit Gozo or Popeye village it is a long ride with the bus from this location. We did only Popeye village and it was tiring. Better take a boat trip to Gozo from Valletta. But I am very happy with the hotel.

The room was really clean and comfy, what is more it was really cheap. The Hotel is next to the small beach, St Thomas Bay where travellers can swim in the sea. The location of the Hotel is excellent, there are two bus stations in 1min from there, also Valletta and the three cities are only in 45 min by transportation. There are also variuos shops too in the nearby also restaurants and bars. It is also possible to walk around Marsaskala in 1 hr by following the coastline. The staff was really helpful and consists of great people.

The door is not so soundproofed, therefore I heard the opposite neighbour during the night.

Location. Liitle sandy beach and bus stop was just across the street. Really friendly staff, nothing was a problem. Quite big and really comfortable rooms (we got room for three for couple with infant). This is cheap hotel but really good for that price.

Shower (bath) was absurd. It was really hard to make right temperature of the water (on the same position the water was changing from hot to cold and the other way all the time). There was some green grows around the pool (little but still). Some shaded area near pool would be nice.

I loved the location - our room was about 10 steps to the pool, it was very relaxing, the staff were so friendly, the rooms were spacious, cleaned daily & were spotless, the food was amazing (especially the pizza). A couple of people were very boisterous one day & staff very politely asked them to respect other guests. I couldn't fault the hotel - will definitely go back here as I have travelled to malta several times for many years. Would definitely recommend this hotel to family & friends

After I booked this I wondered if I had made a mistake because the rooms looked very basic - honestly they weren't, if anything I don't think the pictures of the hotel does it justice.

The room was huge with loads of space to unpack. The air conditioner was a great bonus as it was really hot. The room also had a fridge. The pool is just downstairs and has a restaurant where you can buy breakfast, cocktails and food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a convenience store just around the corner if you want to buy additional water and snacks.

When you leave the room with the keycard, all electricity goes off and thus the fridge does not stay cool during the day. So after a full day of sightseeing you come back to warm drinks and sour milk.
