Russel the owner is very friendly and his breakfasts are delicious.Lots of seafood restaurants to choose from and short distance to and from airport .Excellent bay view from room and terrace.

We were very happy with our stay at this wonderful guesthouse! Our hosts were exceptional and went out of their way to be helpful, from picking us up at the airport, to delivering us a takeaway breakfast when we left for our early flight! The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean with an amazing view of the harbour. Breakfast was delicious and included a good variety with a choice of Continental, Traditional English breakfast or Omelette with cold and hot beverages and bread/toast. Great location with lots of restaurants and public transportation nearby. Highly recommend

We LOVED everything!! Russel is the kind of model host that everyone wishes to meet while on holidays! He's available and ready to listen to your plans and offer wonderful suggestions to make them better! The location is impeccable near the waterfront of the small authentic fishing village Marsaxlokk with bus stops at a 1min or 5min walk. Lots of nearby restaurants (I especially recommand the one downstairs)! I must say that the duration of the bus travels to visit other places in Malta is to be taken onto consideration but coming back to La Reggia and enjoying the full moon in Marsaxlokk waterfront made it all worth it! The breakfast on the terrace is an amazing way to start the day in Malta with great views of the fishing boats and 3 rich breakfast options proposed by Russel. The room was comfortable and spotless clean with room cleaning done every day. I recommand staying there without any hesitation!

We had an excellent 4 nights stay in La Reggia Seaview Guesthouse. For starters, Marsaxlokk is a beautiful place to stay. In our room we had a balcony to enjoy the view of the Sea and the harbour. It was quiet at nights and curtains blocked the light really well. The air conditioner worked really efficiently and cooled the room quickly. The room was very clean and the host was providing cleaning service every day. We didnt need it every day, but if you wish, there is a choice. There was a delicious breakfast of your choice every day. The host was offering 3 breakfast options: continental, english breakfast and an omlette. There was an iron in our room, so we could iron our clothes, which was very useful. We were on the 2 floor and used stairs, but it was possible to use the elevator as well. Overall, there was really friendly environment and the host made sure that we had everything we need. He was friendly and helpful. We recommend this guesthouse if you are visiting Marsaxlokk.

The view from the balcony was fantastic and we could see the sunrise from there as well as the harbor with the colorful fishing boats. Good and rich breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Everything in Marsaxlokk is super close by. Room was spacious and clean.

The bar in the building on the ground floor as well as the road is very noisy till midnight, you should bring earplugs as the window is not sound proof. Breakfast service is super slow when there are many people at the same time waiting for it. One should not be in a hurry. I also have to give one point less due to conflict management. My card was blocked by the bank due to suspicious activities. If I hadn't gotten the bank to unblock it, the owner would not have allowed my husband to make a money transfer from Germany to the hotels' account despite immediate proof of payment. I mean, seriously, what else could I have done if not for the bank clerks' mercy on the phone? Not very professional and there should be some algorithms in the hotel for dealing with that type of emergency.

Amazing place to stay. As the town is small, then this guesthouse is in a perfect spot to access the main part of the city. The room is very, very nice and super clean, bathroom looks elegant and has a lot of space. Room cleaning happens everyday and they leave fresh, clean towels as well. All facilities are spot on. The owners are super nice, very helpful and kind! As we had to stay in the city for 3 more hours, the owner allowed to leave or luggage for free and then just pick it up. Breakfast - 2 options - English or Continental. For men I would suggest English, for ladies, continental. You can eat on the roof with a nice view.

Only downside for those who has trouble sleeping, it could get noisy during the night as right outside there is the main street with restaurants, so get some earplugs.

Basically everything was awesome. The hotel owner is a great person. He is really warm, kind and helpful. Whenever you need something, he would help immediately. The rooms are amazing clean and they have daily room cleaning service if you would need. I stayed in hotels, guest houses in more than 30 countries and i can say it was one of the cleanest one easily.

The only negative thing is the street noise. The hotel is in the city center of Marsaxlokk. That’s why it can be loud sometimes. It didn’t bother me, but for some people it might be a problem. I would recommend you to take sleeping headphones.

We spent our honeymoon there for three entire weeks. The location is perfect. We had a little balcony with full view on the sea. Just before the guesthouse there are the best fish restaurants of Malta. And the bus stop is just one minute away. From the bus stop one can reach the airport directly, take bus 119. Also with a direct route (bus 81) you can easily visit Valletta and the neighbouring villages. Our room was super tidy, cleaned each and every day, while Russel our host is a very friendly guy who is keen to provide the best service to his guests. You can choose three tipes of breakfasts every morning (continental, english, omelette), all of those are delicious. Russel gives you super tips which places to visit, e.g. best beaches, megalithic temples, caves of the islands. Russel even gave us a lift to the medieval town of Mdina, and arranged for us two last minute tickets to Hypogeum, an ancient mysterious burial place, a must see for all tourist visiting the islands. We suggest everyone to book this place in Marsaxlokk, even if you want to spend more time in Malta than just a couple of days.

The breakfast was amazing. You get a choice of 3: English Breakfast, Continental Breakfast, or a Loaded Omelet. I loved all of them. They are cooked by the owner, who used to be a chef, and served on the rooftop patio that has an absolutely gorgeous view of the bay! The room was very soundproof, the bed was comfortable, and it all looked great. The view we had from our room was beautiful. The owner was so kind and accommodating, as well. He offered to bring us from the airport to the guesthouse, he gave us multiple maps and pamphlets of Malta, the different cities and places to go, and the transit routes, he even made us breakfast the evening prior to our departure, because we were leaving earlier than his breakfast started.

The ONLY dislike that I had was that the shower got water all over the floor of the bathroom, which made it more slippery.
