A beautiful setting, with rehabilitated traditional architecture and an amazing pool (rare in Malta accommodations offer). Very reasonably priced. Comfortable room and bed. Big bathroom. The area is calm and with a true local spirit avoiding the massive tourism, yet very close from the main spots of Valletta and Birgu. But the main remark must go to the hosts; that exceeded any standard expectation. The owners are spectacular, engaging, present, dedicated, going over the top with care and making the stay an heart melting experience. I normally don’t do reviews, but this one is well deserved and truly recommended.

Celine, Alex and the staff make this B&B a unique place. Celine is friendly, caring and she cooked an early dinner for us on our day of arrival even though the restaurant was closed at that time. And she is an excellent cook! Alex was fun, showed us his favourite place, some magic tricks and we shared some laughs. Served breakfasts were fresh, tasty, of sufficient amount and a little bit different every day. The whole "palace" is beautifully renovated and the pool area is a great place to relax.

Since we stayed for six nights, we would have appreciated a quick cleanup :-) (sweeping the floor and towel change would do) A small refrigerator for drinks and window insect screens would be an advantage as well :-)

The location of the B&B is excellent. Airport, Valletta, the 3 cities and other nice harbor towns are a maximum of 15 minutes drive away. Use Bolt to navigate from point A to B. It is fast and cheap. The building is authentic was the ideal formula for us for a trip to Malta. Far away from large all-inclusive hotels, discotheques, etc. We missed a welcome drink but the detailed explanation of all the must sees in valletta and the whole island made up for that. The approach is very personal and warm. We could go to Celine and the staff with all our questions. We also had dinner in the B&B a few times, which was very tasty. Breakfast is always fresh. I would absolutely recommend this B&B to anyone who plans on visiting Malta.

We missed charcuterie (cheese, ham,..) during our breakfast. Due to the heat on the island (July 45 degrees) there were problems with the electricity and we regularly had power cuts. However, this was the case for the few cities and therefore not the fault of the hotel.

Celina, Alexis & Stephane were excellent hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. It made visiting Malta for the first time a very memorable experience. The palazzo is a fabulous property, beautifully restored. All the staff worked extremely hard and were so friendly and caring. Celine is a fabulous French cook to top it all. A brilliant find.

Nothing at all. It’s a bit away from the tourist highlights but we liked the authenticity. A thirty minute walk to the three cities by Valletta harbour or a cheap Bolt taxi ride.

Celine is simply wonderful, as well as her staff she takes care of the guest in any possible need she is an excellent chef both for breakfast and dinner the palace is a magic place to live in

We feel like we have family now in Malta! Celine and Alex were absolutely fabulous to myself, my husband and our 8 year old grandson! They picked us up from the airport, dropped us to wonderful destinations and restaurants they recommended (on more than one occasion!), and Celine even delivered shoes that I had forgotten at their place to the airport as we were leaving Malta! Their place in Malta is like staying at a small palace. We were served a wonderful breakfast every morning, (Celine even make home made crêpes one morning at our Grandson's request!) Both Alex and Celine gave loving, special attention to our grandson. They are fabulous hosts who made us all feel welcome and at home!!!

We can't say enough good things about this lovely B&B.

A hotel where you are surrounded by care and attention – this is the most hospitable hotel I have ever experienced. Separately, I would like to express our gratitude to Celine and Alexis for her exceptional attentiveness and the delicious food she provided, she's truly amazing. I would rate their efforts 11 out of 10. Without a doubt, we will definitely be returning here!

Breakfast and dinner top quality. Location convenient, parking space available 99.9% of the time. Pool area exceptionally relaxing. Management and staff exceptionally friendly and accommodating every request (and even more than requested), gave excellent advice regarding places to visit, sights to see, local amenities. The visitor has the feeling of being part of the family and is turned into a quasi-local within a couple of days!

Tabletop storage space could be larger.

This place is simply stunning. Our expectations were outrun by far at every single moment of our stay. Céline and Alexis are simply the perfect hosts. Almost like in a fairy tale whenever we were at the Palazzo and asked ourselves a question either Céline or Alexis popped up to help. Whether it was to make the reservation on the boat-tour or finding some spots on the Island that are NOT in any tourist guide our hosts assisted and helped without being intrusive. We had dinner twice at the property and on both occasions it was just perfect. Starting with a house-made cocktail and closing with a delicious dessert. If you go there, it's a MUST to leave some space for getting Céline's signature desserts. Not only are they delicious but you risk to get addicted. The price tag may be a bit higher than what you could find around but it's worth it. (My first 10 ever)

We and our friends had a perfect 4 nights stay in Malta. The accommodation is an old palazzo beautifully restored with great facilities and atmosphere. Celine and Alex were perfect hosts making us feeling spoiled! They gave us great recommendation about what to visit , where to go for diners or beaches. Breakfast was great, served in the beautiful interior garden. We had also dinner there, twice and was also very good. Thank you very much Celine hope to see you again!
