Breakfast was perfect, a small bite as advertised, delivered to our room every morning with fresh coffee. We had a noise issue on our first night (other guests in the hotel) the staff bent over backwards to accommodate us and upgraded our room and moved us. The staff were communicative, including when off-shift to keep us in the loop about our room transfer. Everyone was very friendly. The location of the hotel is great, you can walk just a few minutes to the bus stop and take the bus. You can walk a few minutes further and pick up the water taxi to go to Valletta, which is incredibly convenient (cost of the water taxi includes using the Euro lift up to the Barrakka gardens). We hired a car and were able to find parking, if not directly outside the hotel, in the car park just 2 mins walk up the road. You are near by the restaurants in Bormla itself, and a short walk from the restaurants in Birgu (across the bridge) or further up the road in Senglea. I found the price to be very affordable and much more competitive that the equivalent hotel in Valletta for example.

Our original room was right opposite the reception desk in the hotel, which meant when people were sat in the bar/lounge area and were noisy we could hear them. Unlucky for us they decided to stay up late on night so were disturbed. On learning this the hotel staff were wonderfully helpful in relocating us.

The room was fabulous! We had been traveling around Europe (on a budget) for several weeks by that time we arrived there and the Mike was definitely a massive upgrade from everywhere else we stayed. The bed was comfortable. The bedding was crisp and clean. The room was spacious. The bathroom was modern with a nice shower. Everything was very clean. The staff were lovely and helpful, great for travel tips. Breakfast was simple but a nice touch. They made alterations for diet restrictions as requested. As far as location goes, I was concerned before we arrived, thinking that I should have booked a room in another part of the country, but in the end, Cospiscua was the perfect choice for us. It was so peaceful and calm, away from the rowdy bars and clubs, but not too far. Everything was easily accessible by ferry, bus, or car. UBER/BOLT trips were quick and inexpensive, but the ferry or boats were definitely the most charming way to get around. Overall, It far exceeded my expectations! I'd definitely stay there again. Only next time, I'd upgrade to the room with the balcony to have somewhere just as charming to eat breakfast.

Comfortable room, well located near public transportation and ferries. Good air conditioning, comfortable beds.

When we arrived we were greeted at the entrance to our room by a rather large cockroach, which the hostess "assisted" out of the way with her foot (it happens, this is an old building in an old city). The breakfast was a bit underwhelming, with a basic packaged bread, fruit, yogurt delivered to the room on a tray, COVID style. We would have preferred to have breakfast somewhere other than inside our room since this type of isolation is no longer required for dining. Malta in June has become quite expensive, including lodging accommodations.

Fantastic location in the heart of Malta's Three Cities. A lot of monuments within a short walk, very close to bus stops and the ferry to Valetta. Right next to the hotel there is a pastizzeria where you can buy something to eat for lunch. Breakfast brought to the room, you can choose the classic variant (toast or croissant, e.g. with cheese) or sweet, plus fruit and a piece of cake - as a good start to the day, they are absolutely ok.

Breakfast brought to the room is both an advantage and a disadvantage. The advantage, because you eat in peace in the apartment. Disadvantage because you have to wait for breakfast and at first we got it a bit later than we asked for. But we reported it and everything was fine after that. The view from the terrace (we had an apartment at the top, with a terrace) is not great, but it is a good place to sit and read or have breakfast. Just need an umbrella for some shade.

We booked an economy room. A few days before arrival we got an offer to upgrade to a standard for free, because they had one available. The room was cleaned every day and the towels were replaced whenever we asked. Very close to the bus stop. Breakfast was fresh and delivered to the room from 8 to 9:30 depending on guests' preference. After checkout we were allowed to store our baggage for couple of hours until our flight. Generally very good service.

The hotel was nice, the staff was super friendly and gave us suggestions and tips of our holidays such as places to visit and information on public transport. The location was really good, we were just 5min (walk) away from the ferry to Valletta where you can visit and sightseeing but also have access to all the transportation (bus station, ferrys to different islands etc)

On our third day we noticed that we had a lot of ants in our room. During the check out we mentionned it to the staff and they said it was the first time they saw it.

The room was exactly as described with a big comfortable bed and lovely shower room. It was not quiet as the double glazing was not great, but then again you are staying in a city and for the price it was a good place to stay. We liked the check in arrangements and the manager birgit was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine for us with fresh fruit, sandwiches/filled croissant and cake. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel after check out until our taxi arrived in the afternoon. Would definitely stay again.

The only thing I would say is it would be good if they replenished the coffee/sugar/milk in the rooms. There is an honesty bar downstairs, but not where you want to go when you wake first thing.

Location is close to the bus stations, dock's and ferry that leads to Valetta. Best sights such as fortresses can be seen on a walking distance. Self check-in option is available after 1pm. Stuff was very nice and helpful. Rooms are very clean and new, beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and portions were also good. Around the hotel you can find few convenient stores and bakeries. On a walking distance there is couple of great restaurants (mostly on the docks). We liked it and would definitely recommend. 😌

Room that we stayed in had only one very small elongated window positioned very high on the wall. We used it mostly for ventilation purposes since we couldn't see anything outside because of the thick wall around it. Didnt mind it a lot because we were mostly outside, but a bigger window would have be more convenient reducing bunker feeling. I hope other rooms had a proper ones.

Really comfortable beds, new and nice decoration, wonderful breakfast, easy way of self-cheking, very well located between Birgu and Senglea, close to many restaurants, close to the ferry

I booked 2 rooms. My room was wonderful but my friend's room, although newly renovated and confortable, did not have any window, so it felt a bit claustrofobic for her. I think that maybe for other people not having a window is not a problem but I think this info should be included while booking so the guest can decide to stay in that room or not

Very clean. Don’t be fooled by the exterior. The outside may look historical but the inside is modern. It’s close to bus stops, shops, some attractions. Staff are lovely. The breakfast served in the room is exceptional. On our last day our flight is early at 6am, so we told them we cannot have the breakfast but they worked above and beyond. That’s very thoughtful of them. Communication is very easy too. They are very responsive.
