Quaint old building, with very beautiful collection of old pieces, including hundreds of teapots. Each morning we were able to purchase a delicious breakfast next door, (pistachio croissants were amazing). Located in the old city, we didn’t need a car (it would have been difficult- impossible - to park). Room was very clean and staff very kind and polite.

Our room was on the top (3rd floor) and no lift. We had difficulty with the (self) check in, but we’re able to access the building and use the wifi to contact staff. Valletta had daily large cruise ships which inundated the small town (this of course was not related to our stay or the hotel).

Excellent location, just around the corner from the Upper Barraka Gardens and very close to many attractions in Valletta. Cosy room with exterior private bathroom (Room 8). Had small balcony. Room very clean. WiFi worked great.

Very creaky wardrobe and bed...wardrobe was oiled 5 days after reporting it. Nowhere to hang towels in room...a few hooks would be great. Shower in bathroom was a bit unpredictable, as water would either be really hot or cold on all settings first thing in the morning...took a bit of turning on and off before it worked ok. Full length mirror in room would be a bonus.

Charming guest house in an old home… beautiful rooms, comfortable beds. My room had a gorgeous balcony looking over a very picturesque street. Great central location in Valletta. I did not eat at the restaurant associated with the hotel but it’s very cute. There are many displays throughout the hotel of traditional Maltese costume and (presumably) some items from the family who used to live here.

Of course there are some trade offs staying in such an old building… rooms lack some of the standard amenities you typically expect from a hotel (fridge, safe, TV). And it’s important to be aware there is no elevator and the staff does not help with bringing luggage upstairs. The self check in / check out process was efficient, but left me with a bit of an impersonal feeling, and my only interactions with the staff were when they had to do some work in my room after I had checked in.

Great location, close to the shops and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet, positioned on a pedestrian street. The room had character and clearly thought had been given to make the decor special to the room. Lots of other personal touches throughout the hotel which was lovely. We also welcomed the tea and coffee in the room. Check-in process was straightforward and clear instructions were sent in advance. Reception was usually empty but staff were available when needed.

Our room was on the 4th floor with lots of stairs up. Worth the view but not for anyone with mobility concerns.

Lovely Maltese building. Over 400 years old. Very quaint..very ornate. Sparking clean everywhere.. lovely staff. Very easy to chk in/chk out. Amazing location for everywhere in Valletta. Great outside cafe/restaurant..very popular.

No private en suite bathroom in 2 of the nine rooms, ours was one but this was on the info so note . Our bathroom was down the corridor 60steps up 5 floors to get to our room. Good exercise but not sure everyone would manage or want to . Should probably make that clearer on the info as I missed this

Flexibility was given in being able to drop off bags before 3:00 pm check-in. Unfortunately, our bags didn't make it on our flight. The airlines dropped off our bags the next day while we were out and they were brought up to our room. We were glad that we were not the ones to have to drag our bags over several flights of stairs. The location was a convenient short walk to several points of interest. The bus terminal was within easy walking distance. The room was as it was shown online. Most of the properties that I looked at typically had queen or king beds for two but we wanted twin beds so we were glad that Casa Asti had this option. I would book this place again.

Got only one bottle of water for the two of us on the first day, that was it. Thought breakfast was included however it was explained to us that since COVID they didn't include breakfast.

We had the family room and it was perfect. One large king size bed and two singles. The beds were very comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room and the bathroom is extremely spacious and they provide toiletries. We had breakfast in the bistro attached to the hotel and it was incredible value for money. The fruit platter is exceptional.

Our room was on the third floor and there is no elevator so carrying our cases wasn't easy. But we knew this in advance from the other reviews and it was worth it!

This hotel is so pretty - it's like something out of a fairy tale! The small details and decorations make this one of the cutest hotels I've ever been to. It's very central, the rooms and gorgeous and the best thing for me is that they offered self check-in, which is perfect for guests arriving late at night. I received an email from the manager a couple of days before I arrived with instructions on how to get into my room, so I was able to check in, go up to my room and straight to bed after a long day's travelling. No fuss whatsoever. The hotel was super quiet and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I only wish I'd had more time there!

The Location is right in the center of Valletta, literally 30 sec away from the Bridge Pub (famous for Friday Jazz Live Music). At night the room is after 12pm very quiet up to the morning as it is a side street where you don't have many drunk people walking around. We had a room with exterior bathroom. We've seen it as an adventure and at the end it was a funny experience. Next to the hotel is a café with the same owner Ennie (is it spelled right?). She is 90 years old and fit enough to run that business. On top of that she is unbelievably kind as she invited us to her party next door to celebrate her 90th birthday together with the family. I'm not saying that you will get a party on the house while staying there but the I recommend to have a chat with the owner and her familiy when you meet them :).

There was nothing in particular. Just a recommendation for the future to upgrade the rooms would be to install a sealing around the doors to reduce the noise coming from the floor and to add a contactless door key for the exterior bathrooms as well.

The room was extremely comfortable and the location was very convenient to many things in Valetta. The bed was extremely comfortable and they had air conditioning which made the room very cool.

There are really no staff on the premises which can make it inconvenient if you need assist. For example, the power went out in the hotel during the night and without wifi we could not contact the owner for assistance. Luckily another guest had service and was able to reach them but it took a lot longer.
