Clean and comfortable room. It's a good option for the price. The staff is supportive and welcoming. I had to extend my stand 2 times and managed to do it without any problems.

Don't expect any usual hotel services: it's just a room with cleaning, nothing more. It was a bit weird to give the room key to janitors in the morning. You expect them to have their own keys. The hotel is located next to the Old Bus Station that is not a safe one after the sunset. It was also stated that there would be slippers, but the hotel doesn't provide them.

The place is not far from the center (~20 minute walk) and there is a big park Agua Azul with a lot of places to check out only a 5 minute walk away. Agua Azul has some venues that only open on certain days but the gallery of local art of Jalisco is open every day, it’s free and very interesting. The room was big enough and the bed was big and not too hard. The water in the shower was hot enough sometimes we just had to wait for it to get hot. The cleaning lady was very nice and the room service was great.

we booked a room for three weeks but even after I called to confirm that we were on our way to Guadalajara the reception told us that we only had until 8 pm to check in otherwise the room could be rented to someone else. I found that to be very stressful since we were traveling by bus and weren’t sure about the exact time of our arrival. the hallway was quiet at night but every morning we could hear the cleaning lady talking to someone outside, they also had to ask us if we wanted them to clean every single day, which sometimes was very annoying especially when we wanted to sleep in but that was because they needed us to give them the key, which could be changed if the administration had different rules, I guess

Nice, clean and comfortable. Next to old bus terminal and 5 minutes walk from macrobus stop - and only 3 stops from the city center.

The WiFi is really bad, slow and dysfunctional to a point where it's only usable for the most basic stuff. Little table and a chair in the room would be nice.

Comfortable bed. Good shower.

Noisy. Needs a policy on guest noise at night. Some form of partition from the reception area to the lower floor rooms. Some form of soundproofing as the tiles floors and concrete walls transmit noise.

no pool or gym and lucky my car is in shop because parking was a nightmare

Fantastic staff, very clean hotel, good WiFi, good size flat screen TVs, unlike a lot of hotels in this price range, the pictures actually match what you get, easy food options locally, public transport easy to access, bus terminal for airport and for lake chapala directly across the road, laundry and oxxo 200 metres down the road.

Wish I could stay longer

Hotel Emperador is a very clean property with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. It was a real value for the price and exceeded my expectations

The only down side to the property is it’s location, which really is of no fault of its own.

Location is close to shopping areas and within 10-15 min driving distance of Expo area. The area is scary at night but thats only outside of hotel. Hotel has lots of security
