It was very comfortable and a perfect location. The "penthouse" advertising was a bit misleading or I didn't look hard enough to see that the deck infront of it is shared from 10 am to 10 pm. Plus you have a unit right beside it. As long as you're social it's not an issue. The staff, excluding 1 on the front desk, was amazing. The lead lady went out of her way to assist us with anything. We stayed 1 week which was too long for the small community. If you're just looking to relax and spend time on the beach it's perfect. I wish I could take the lead lady back to Alaska to work at my resort. They have a rockstar in her!

It's noisy on weekend nights until quite late

The best part of of the hotel is that is next to the ocean, 10 steps and you were touching the sand. Sayulita is a very romantic place, is very chill and adventurous. The hotel was ver close to all resturants but very casual and chill.

The only thing was they didn't have breakfast/kitchen. We eat out, however food in sayulita was cheaper than puerto vallarta. 80 pesos a full plate with drink. The hotel was next to a bar, and they did have live music and it was loud however I didn't mind because they would play jazz music and blues which help me falll asleep eventually. However U see how that can bother some people. Just try to get a room further from the small street there and problem solved! :)

This place is unreal! Definitely pay a little extra for one of the two rooms on the top floor. Big, beautiful room with a walk-out to a large common terrace. The terrace has a great view of the beach and ocean, nice couches, hammocks, it's perfect. All really cool people staying there. We happened to meet the owner who was super cool as well. I was here with my buddy in one room and I could have stayed a lot longer. It really is a great spot. Prime location. Also, Aseret, at the front desk deserves a raise. She's awesome! Really makes the stay even better.

The location was perfect — right on the beach and right next to downtown Sayulita as well where all the action is. Super walkable to everything, no need for a car. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall was the perfect pad to enjoy the best of what Sayulita has to offer.

The room we had was on the small side, but relatively what we expected and still good value for what we payed. As other reviews have said, it can be a bit noisy at night because it’s in the middle of everything—but this is part of the draw of this location too, and if you bring earplugs you’ll probably be fine.

Great location on beach. Penthouse was spacious. Full kitchen, great shower, comfortable beds. Large shared view terrace with hammocks and sectional couch on shaded patio. Good Wifi. Insulated from nearby bar noise with patio doors closed and overhead fan on.

Safe malfunctioned. Lovely untrained staff ( daughter) helped as best she could. Had to ask for kitchen towels and more distilled water. Plants on high shelves needed water. Other guests right outside patio doors on terrace except 10pm to 9am when shared with other penthouse occupants. Had to keep curtains closed for privacy. lost nice view when inside.

The location is exceptional. You can’t get any closer to the beach, it is literally steps away. Beautiful view from our room. The hotel is right on the beach. You are in the heart of Zona Romantica. Don Pedro’s is right across the street. 1-2 min walk to the town square. You have to visit Mary’s for the specialty tacos. My favourite was the Sayulita taco. The kids really likes Cocobanana. They had the best chocolate milkshakes. The staff at the hotel are top notch. They are very lovely and will go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. They serve coffee in the morning and there is an amazing patio up top with breath taking views to enjoy it on.

The only complaint we have at all was the noise level at night. There is a very popular bar below the hotel called Lucid which has loud music and bands that play till quite late and people extend out into the street dancing and socializing. Our first night we didn’t get a ton of sleep. It was loud with people partying until almost 5am, then the area was bustling again by about 8:45am that same morning because of the World Cup. The other nights it was around midnight. Having said this, we still enjoyed this hotel for all the other reasons including amazing staff, clean facilities and great location. It was so easy to zip back to our hotel to go to the bathroom or quickly grab something. Maybe just bring some earplugs :)

The location was fantastic, right on the beach, right in the heart of everything.

The bar downstairs had LOUD, I mean LOUD, music until past 1:00 a.m., an hour later than allowed. We wore ear plugs, so it wasn't too bad for us, but did I mention that it's loud? Also, the room was quite small. Barely room to get in on both sides of the bed. View to the beach from our room was blocked by trees. Ask for a room with clear view. Oh, and there really is no street parking. Do yourself a favor and park in an overnight lot.

Location is amazing! Can't beat it. The upstairs balcony is incredible and even better than the pictures. The room was large, lots of space, service was fantastic. Close to everything. You can walk right outside and go surfing, eat, drink, etc.

We arrived on Wednesday and the club downstairs was so loud that we didn't think we were going to sleep. We were up for at least two hours before we finally fell asleep. I'm not sure when the noise stopped...maybe midnight or 1am? We thought we it was going to be a nightmare all week, but that ended up being the only night that it was loud--even the weekends were quiet.

We booked 2 rooms. 1 deluxe double room with balcony and sea view, this room is good for a single person or a couple at most. The sink area is not as big as shown in the pictures but the room is a decent size. It has a beautiful view to the ocean from both, the balcony and the window. The second room was the family room with balcony, this room fits 3 adults and 1 child max. This room looks just as in the pictures. It also has a balcony with ocean view.

The only thing that I didn't like was the AC's they are old and make a lot of noise and don't cool enough. Our rooms where next to each other and when we went to the room next door we had to call them to open the door or knocked and stepped back because the hot air from the AC hits you right in the face, and it is HOT! Also, the rooms could use new pillows.
