Beautiful, brand new boutique hotel located in Sayulita. Great pool area and location - 5 min walk to the main square but far enough away from the craziness. Loved the shower and local bath products provided. Staff was incredibly generous and attentive.

Bathroom was missing a hairdryer. There were loud explosion sounds at 5AM almost every morning.

From the moment I got there I was welcomed so warmly and at every single moment nothing was too much to ask. They were genuinely the nicest staff I have ever experienced at a hotel. The cleaner came very single day to clean my room which was an incredible bonus! The room was very well designed and beautiful and the pool area was very pretty and enjoyable.

There was a slight smell of drain from my bathroom on some days and at times it was a touch loud in the location but these were only small points.

Everything was to our liking. The fact that it's on a relatively quiet side street, but still not far from the bustling center and from the beach was also a plus. The room is cozy and comfy, with basically all you need. The hosts are super nice and helpful and were always ready to assist or to recommend a local restaurant or place to go. The pool is also a nice addition and a dip in the jacuzzi is the perfect way to end a long, hot and humid day. Don't forget to check out their little cafe downstairs that can provide you with a perfect brunch.

Not really a negative thing, but a suggestion: a small desk/work area would be helpful for mobile working

Just a fantastic place to stay! It's a small and quiet hotel, perfectly located up the hill from the centre of Sayulita. But what made us love our stay was the attention to detail and quality. Everything from the decor and comfy beds to the free suncream and warm welcome, it's very clear that a lot of consideration has been given to how to facilitate the ideal hotel experience. And the pool is just perfect. While small, it's beautifully clean and the ideal temperature. The Jacuzzi is spacious and can be heated on request. I've stayed in about 10 different places in Sayulita, but we'll be returning to this hotel for sure.

La Bohem is an amazing hidden gem in such a quaint and colorful city. A short walk from the bustling Sayulita downtown area, yet just far enough away to make you feel secluded in your own little modern jungle oasis. The staff was outstanding and incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Every recommendation from the staff turned out to be fantastic, I really recommend picking their brain for anything and everything. When I come back to Sayulita I will certainly stay here again.

There were some local teenagers that were up late skateboarding below our room one of the nights. It was incredibly noisy and kept us up late. We were a little disappointed by this and brought it up to the hotel staff's attention, but they said there was nothing they could do.

The location is out of the main centre so much more quiet, the staff is very friendly and the rooms and clean and new. The pool gets lots of sun which isn’t common for sayulita hotels. The washrooms by the pool were nice and everything was very clean. The cafe attached will be a great addition.

It is lovely to have a mini fridge, although ours was very loud at night, complimentary water each day would be appreciated, there was a man roasting nuts outside the property for one of our nights that was incredibly loud. The reception desk closes at 7pm so make sure to tell them if you need late check in so they will arrange someone to be there for you.

Very helpful staff. Gave us water everyday and fixed things straight away. Beautifully decorated and very modern and only a 5 min walk into town. There’s a little coffee shop downstairs too. Room is very modern and only 8 villas.

We had to ask for a second pillow as the pillows were very flat. The bed also isn’t the most comfy but fine for a short stay. Also we had cold water in our shower for half the stay which wasn’t too much of an issue as the days were hot.

Regina was absolutely amazing the entire time we stayed there! She was so accommodating and welcoming and really made us feel like we were at home. The hotel was in the perfect location — just far enough from town where you couldn’t hear any partying but close enough that we could walk in less than 5 minutes. Rooms were clean and spacious and the housekeeping staff was so kind! Can’t wait to come back and visit again

Can’t think of a single thing

The staff was very helpful and sociable. We went for our honeymoon and found flowers and a box of typical local chocolates in our room which was very thoughtful of them. The wifi was working very well. It felt very exclusive, not many other guests were around and we often had the pool to ourselves. We also really appreciated that they had all kinds of sun block available. We were travelling with hand luggage only and that came in really handy.

We always struggled to open the sliding door to our room which was a bit annoying.

This little boutique hotel is, in a word, perfect. It's a 5-10 minute walk from the main square, so restaurants and bar are all accessible but the hotel itself is quiet and calm. The facilities feel new and are kept impeccably clean. Even the toiletries were remarkable. The staff is friendly and helpful – Regina is as personable as she is knowledgable. A taxi to Puerto Vallarta's airport was only 900 pesos or US$45, and the ride took less than an hour. Overall a great experience!

A few more pillows would be welcome and a washer and dryer in the hotel tat guests could use for a reasonable price would be a great extra. These are not even dislikes, though! Just friendly suggestions/room for improvement.
