The attitude of the waiters in the restaurants The view was excellent

The mattress of our bed was too old, (very soft) We asked for a change of room, but the mattress on the other room was also too old and soft. In my opinion, the hotel is short of staff.

All of the staff from the front desk, waiters, housekeeping and spa personnel were very welcoming. You don't have to worry that you don't know much about activities or fear that you won't know where to go, because all of the staff were helpful and pointed us in the right direction. Alex who helped us with our bags and Manuel from the restaurant were extremely helpful. I also heard them speaking English to other customers so if you don't speak Spanish, you'll be in good hands.

I would have liked to wash clothes or have laundry done. Maybe even have a small stand to buy snacks or drinks. I also wanted to buy a hat, sunglasses, and a T-shirt too for the sun and because I wanted a souvenir shirt from Mia Bacalar. A simple t-shirt with a small logo or small print would've been nice to have. I didn't have enough time to run into town buy anything, so having a small store on the premises would have been nice.

Staying here felt like a dream. Seamless blend of nature, seclusion and luxury. Very accommodating staff (Esp: Alex, Manuel and Carlos), and excellent food (Club Sandwich FTW). The lagoon was pristine and it is absolutely worthwhile to rent the jet-ski for an hour. Overall, I would highly recommend

We had booked here because it’s the only hotel with a pool, but in person the pool appeared unkept, was cold, and wasn’t inviting.

service and location particularly. Interesting cabins- architecturally- excellent balconies- especially those up near lake- Beautiful nature and lake. Wind was blowing in this season which made it especially fresh. Perhaps nature space would be bit more successful with just a couple of bungalows less.

cost is certainly high end - but if you can afford it and want to live it up, a couple of nights here is well worth it. Service and food and room comfort and natural location are what make it very worthwhile.- Great and fresh and beautiful large Palapa for eating next to lagoon are really worthwhile- A day pass visit is also well worth it. My favorite was hammocks on the wooden jetty in the shade.. great place for nap, or quiet read.

Come with mosquito repellent because they are plenty in the area! Exterior design of the houses is not in our taste at all Not on the best localisation on the lake, it is kind of far of the main interesting points on the lake Sometimes some rigidity of the Chef, no guacamole for diner for exemple… Music in the restaurant on a scrached disk, that is really annoying when you are having diner or lunch..

The staff went above and beyond to make sure we feel comfortable and relaxed. The quality of the food was quite high, and the overall property is amazing a few miles from the busy downtown (centro).

No breakfast included. It’s not a must but for this price it is quite surprising. Our room had a few minor issues such as the shower head dripping and not much light in the bathroom.

Fantastic rooms, much attention paid to unique architectural details. Fantastic staff and location, quiet. I loved the place. Really.

Not much to complain about, the steps in the water at the dock were very slippery and should be scrubbed more often to prevent that. The lake bed is not as colorful as other areas of Bacalar but is still beautiful and clean.
