The hotel is immersed inside a jungle, rooms were super clean and tidy. There’s an easy access to the lagoon from a nearby house. Overall, the facilities and location were perfect and allowed us to unwind and relax, we stayed 4 nights and loved every second.

The majority of the staff did not speak english so it was difficult to communicate and could not receive suggestions on what to do in the area. The included breakfast was simple and nice, but they served every day the same food. Since we stayed for 4 nights, it got a bit boring. Another issue was the constant request for tips, also on the breakfast service and cleaning the room. I also would recommend to add a stronger light to the sign of the hotel from the main road.

The hotel is really great. The restaurant is inexpensive and undiversified. However, under the advice of the excellent bartender, we went to eat in the center of bacalar. The only downside is the fact that we asked to go kayaking on the lagoon and that the person at the reception told us that they did not have a kayak to offer us but only a much more expensive boat. The next day we approached another person from the hotel who kindly led us to affordable kayaks just 30 meters from the hotel… amazing… otherwise nothing to complain about!

Naya bacalar was fantastic! Beautifully designed huts with nice lighting and private pool. Food options were great. Service was excellent and Javier was especially good and attentive in making sure we had everything we needed. Very short walk to lakefront area (currently shared with agave blue) and organising kayaks through hotel was no problem. Highly recommend!!

This hotel is perfect for people who want to unwind and get away from all the hustle and bustle. The masseuse did a great job. The staff and food were wonderful. The rooms were amazing. They said they will have access to the lagoon in about 6 months when I was there in June. That would make this resort really amazing for travelers who want access to the lagoon from their hotel.

Beds and rooms were large and comfortable. Staff is really nice and the grounds are well kept.

Rooms near the restaurant can be a bit noisy in the morning with food prep for breakfast and at night for dinner. Music at restaurant and lounging area doesn’t end till 10:30PM. Staff made it right our second and third night. Much more restful nights.

Beautiful setting, room and vibe. The room + outdoor shower was great! Food at the restaurant and drinks at the bar were delicious.

It would have been perfect if it had direct access to the water. Still great!

Everything was great, Food was good, maybe bit more variety on the breakfast beverages, but other than that we were completely satisfied, We will return
