Hotel was very comfortable, the rooms were beautiful, staff was very helpful and friendly, and the location was perfect. They offered a very good breakfast. They were very accommodating when we hung out on the beachside all day to attend to what we wanted. The front staff recommended a private guide for a day trip to Chichen Itza that was fabulous.

We booked this room very last minute. We are the type of people that really like to sit on our balcony and watch the water/beach. They did not have beach front rooms available, so we took a junior suite with a partial ocean view... The view of the beach/ocean was nonexistent because a tree totally blocked the view. A little disappointing! Also, not hotel's fault, but the noise from 5th Ave was an issue at night until using the white noise app on our phones. Just come prepared and then not an issue.

Aside the fact, that it is overall a wonderful location, a chilling place and with very friendly staff, we find it worth mentioning, that the hotel mgmt let us cancel the last night (although booked and already paid) due to a very bad health condition of my wife, which had worsened over the last two days and finally forced us to fly home one day earlier than originally planned. We had to pay no penalty, thank you for that, dear team ! We will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends !

this property is perfectly situated to the beach and only 1 block to 5th Avenue shopping and restaurants. it is the perfect location. nice size- nice pool and loungers on beach and cabanas by the pool. loved everything. have stayed at larger properties but I prefer this smaller boutique style. i loved the bathroom setup with 2 closets. plenty of hangers and drawers and the separate shower and toilet area.

the only thing is there are other restaurants and a hotel - The Carmen- that have loud music next door—not the fault of this hotel so not holding against them but you will need ear plugs- and you will not have a problem. other than that- absolutely perfect great little restaurant 3 steps out of lobby for coffee and drinks - will come back

Loved everything. A true luxury stay. We did 3 nights in Tulum and only 1 here and we regret it, we should have done all 4 here. So much more authentic of a city and a stay. We will be back!

We loved the spacious room, terrace, and calm of the space. It is far enough away from the very clubby section a few blocks away, and insulated from that noise.

The valet parking situation is very inconvenient, which we understand is due to the location and laws regarding the closed streets. But when you have had a long day and are returning to the hotel, it's a challenge to find parking and walk back to the hotel, then return the next day to get your car.

Great Location. Bar and restaurant services are not up to par for such a spectacular hotel

The bar was not great (no tonic water!) and the restaurant service was not what should be for a hotel like this.

Prime location - in the center of Playa with all the shops/restaurants/taxis and right on the beach. Private and quiet compared to other hotels/ resorts

Only 1 restaurant with a limited menu and slow service at times at the beach club

seaweed and lack of beach needs some updating… our room 1008 was a bit loud ((should have given more of a heads up that this is still a party hotel not a peace a quiet spot in spite of how it’s positioned

Loud music which wasn’t very good most of the time. Some of it was the hotel's own DJ, but some of it was from nearby restaurants, etc.

Great location! Beachfront contemporary style hotel with restaurants across the street with many more, along with shopping, right around the corner. The rooms are very stylish with a huge bathroom, separate toilet area with glass door, and a nice rain shower head! Mike, the concierge, was AWESOME! He recommended places to eat, things to do, and have directions s how to get there. He always had our rental car ready from valley parking minutes after we requested it. Mike was very friendly and knowledgeable and always made us feel welcomed.

Our room, although all tiled, had a slight musty, damp smell …likely due to the beach front. We did visit another room which didn’t have the smell. It was NOT a huge deal though. The beach water directly in front of the hotel seemed brackish with seaweed most of the time. I suggest walking to the right (south) about 10yds where the water is clearer to enter.
