A hidden jem: the french restaurant. Umo also great; avoid Zen. The staff is wonderful. I find the "Heaven" section far more interesting than the "Hacienda" section where I stayed. Definitely will get back to the hotel.

Zen restaurant: over rated, not truly Japanese, avlid that one. Also, the idea of going to a Hard Rock Hotel is about the music: in contrast to other Hard Rock Hotels, this one had a lot of music that differs from what the experience should be. Although it might make "sense" to have a balance, I found a strong bias on what I listened compared to other Hard Rock Hotels. Although tjis hitel doesn't offers too much of a beach experience, the portion it had smelled bad.

This resort was simply amazing. The staff is the best and they really take care of you wherever you go from the pools to the shows to the bell boys . There are several different restaurants available to busy with a reservation… hibachi & also a steak house. There are also buffets available with no reservations and have many variety & dessert bar. They also have a cafe with coffee and latte and an ice cream bar with many different selections. There is a dinner show every night with a reservation as well. There is 24 hour room service which is amazing for late nights. There was a club vibe spot with pools inside… pool tables … and bars for days. You can book excursions with the vacation planner. There is also a water park for children and a skate park. This resort was huge & worth the money. Again the staff was great and they made the trip for me. Thanks Hard Rock!

Best all-inclusive experience you can find. High quality food, services, facilities and entertainment for the whole family. Attention to every detail. Super friendly and helpful staff. The shows are exceptionally good. Great buffets and restaurants. Breakfast sausages and bacon just the way I like them (little detail, I know! but it's just one of those things that make a difference...)

There's no open-sea beach. But there are small pool-like beaches which are great for the children.

We love the Woodward skate park beside the hotel! The waterpark is very fun too. Everything is very clean. The house keeping does a great job, everyone is very hospitable. The buffet and juices and food selection is great. The music is great. The coffee shop , everyone is awesome.

No complaints beside Woodward Franchise not being renewed as we would come back simply for this. We didn't know it was here and if had known would have stayed here all the times in past we have come to Playa. It's amazing. The Kids Club could be a lil better compared to other hotels but they are very kind and honestly no complaints. We had a lovely time :))

Great Restaurants All Inclusive with good food, rooms are Ok with great room service, good food around the pools, great cocktails selection and Corona/ Modelo beer., excellent Staff

The Seawead is been an enemy for all hotels on the Riviera Maya and this hasn't been an exception for the Hard Rock hotel hacienda, but the Pools are well maintained with good activities and music for all guests.

Everything was nice and clean. Also, the kids water park was super fun my kid enjoyed it. We got a day pass to visit Hard Rock Cancun which was really fun, you just have to ask the front desk for a day pass in advance. You do have to pay for your own transportation to visit the Cancun Hard Rock location. The only thing I would have love to have is the pools heated. Lastly, we never ate breakfast at the restaurants we always had our food delivered to our room which was pretty nice.

The staff was very nice, I only think that they need more people because there are a lot of guests and they have to work really hard to serve everybody well. So consider to increase personal on the buffets restaurants would be good. Cielo restaurant was nothing good in our experience, limited menu and regular service. Not a good Italian restaurant experience

The public restrooms could have used a little more attention but overall the property was very clean!

we loved the staff. they we so nice and friendly… easy to talk to to.

We could not find napkin or life guard in the kids water park when my daughter got a bloody nose.. bathrooms weren’t easily accessible from the kids area.

The food was good, but I wish they didn’t add sugar in the morning juices ( packed orange juice with sugar). We had a good room with a beautiful terrace, that we absolutely loved.

You could hear the noise from the next door and small conversations. It was a bit noisy during the day and night in the lobby.
