The hotel location, breakfast and the cleanliness. It has a very good location, and despite the fact that you have to pay for the breakfast it was okay and fresh. The room was spacious and in belle Epoque style, very aristocratic.

The staff wasn't the most polite or at least didn't manage to welcome us properly. They didn't even greeted us with a welcome drink, or at least a glass of water. No daily refill of water at a 5star hotel, in one of the most expensive in Monte-Carlo! The hotel's restaurant didn't surprise us with its cuisine, it was okay, but I can not recommend it. I hate when a bathroom has a splash guard in the bathtub that is always sticking to my body! I consider that in such hotels, where you don't offer shower cabins, you have to put a glass! This was horrible.

Excellent choice for those who want to indulge in luxury and spoil them selves for just few days and not worry about its cost..! The room, the staff, and the food were excellent.

I went twice to the private beach that the hotel offer for free. It was beautiful, clean, and fun. But there the staff both times told me there are no beach chairs left. However once I offered a tip they immediately found one !? No live music. Very small lobby for a huge hotel. No enough daily refill of drinking water in the room.

The hotel is at excellent location, just a few meters from the Casino. It's also great that Casino, nearby cafe and hotel are all connected so you can charge your room in all the properties. The pool / spa area was amazing and not too crowded. The breakfasts were sufficiently good for a 5* hotel.

The architecture meant a lot of walking back and forth. We arrived with an electric car, asked for it to be charged overnight for our day trip and when we requested it the next day it was still not charged. It's a great hotel, but compared to other hotel in this price range around the world, the food choice is mediocre, the restaurant prices are exorbitant (600EUR per person for a dinner) and we had a very bad start to the stay as the staff wouldn't let us into the room when our credit card didn't work on the first try (the bank automatically blocked a large transaction) so I had to call the bank at a very high charge (Monaco is outside of EU), the staff were pretty rude and unhelpful at that point, with some archaic IT system that did not accept contactless payments, apple pay etc.

Room was booked via booking.com, which stated a reservation with either city or courtyard views (also stated sea views!). Upon arrival, room was located at the back of the hotel with crappy "city" views - i.e. the neighbouring building. Further there was no privacy in the bathroom (toilet) as the neighbours had a great view. The hotel kindly responded and immediately relocated us to a beautiful courtyard view room, advising there were some rooms with similar issues (so the hotel is fully aware of their crappy rooms!!!) Fantastic stay after changing rooms

service at breakfast is not great, or it was just too busy - Pavyllon restaurant gave us a terrible table despite booking months in advance. The food was also average in comparison with other restaurants in town - the hotel feels a bit dated, but that’s also part of the experience I reckon

being told by the concierge that a taxi cannot be pre ordered. Coming down for the taxi and being then told we are 4th in line and having missed our lunch reservation because 4th in line meant a wait of 30 minutes followed by a shrug from the portiers and an offer by the concierge to eat in the hotel Limited variety of fruits, fish, cold cuts and breads at the breakfast buffet Setting of the breakfast Almost all tables on the terrace where the breakfast took place were wobbly and tilting from left to right. This was fixed by staff but it was the case for almost all tables

we did love the on time breakfast at the morning and room service, very positive the gluten free bread varieties which means a lot for a celiac person!

Luxury was missing (no welcome drinks, no flowers or fruits or something as a welcome in the room). Breakfast was average comparing other 5* hotels, no drinks such as champagne, no pastries, average quality if coffee.

The staff are exceptional, the food outstanding and the atmosphere first class. Everything about the hotel is exemplary.

The room on the 7th floor was too small for a hotel of that standard..There was only room for one armchair and one desk chair. We had breakfast in the room and in addition to uncomfortable seating for one of us there was only barely enough room for the breakfast table. The shower was also smaller than most and the water pressure not great. The room was described as 'superior' on the booking.com website but when I mentioned this to the person handling my departure he advised the room was the smallest but for an extra €50 a night I could have secured a bigger room. I would definitely have done that had I known.

This was truly a 5 star experience. From the amazing staff, room, restaurants and access to the beach club. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel to anyone. I can gladly say it was the best hotel experience I have ever had in all my years travelling.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, especially the valet guys at the door and the room service staff and cleaners. Such a good pleasant atmosphere at the hotel. We also loved the location.

Although we really liked our room, we felt it was a little dated and some things like the bathroom could have been nicer.
