Absolutely beautiful riad with stunning rooms and courtyard. Comfortable large bed and tasteful decor. Wonderfully cold air conditioning perfect for the sweltering heat of Morocco. What makes this riad absolutely outstanding though is the staff. This isn't some kind of slick greedy money making operation that you can sometimes find in Morocco where tourists feel like cash cows. The staff here are so incredibly hospitable that you feel not just like a guest, but like an honoured family member. From the moment I arrived, Fatima, one of the cooks welcomed me with open arms, the brightest smile, and delicious sweets and tea. The next morning when I met Rashida, one of the other cooks, she was equally welcoming. She brought me rose buds and the sweetest most delicious almonds I have ever tasted which were from her home town. Ahmed, the manager of the riad, was always helpful and approachable. For an amazing travel experience, I highly recommend Riad Rasia.

The day after I arrived, the owner had some relatives over for much of the day which was a little bit uncomfortable particularly as I was the only guest at the time. It wasn't too bad though and I just went out to explore.

RATING BY GUEST SUSANNE: Staying at Riad Rasia felt like stepping into a dream. Every detail of the accommodation was lovingly and beautifully designed. I enjoyed the most restful sleep in the white, immaculately clean, and crisp sheets of a spacious wooden four-poster bed. The staff, particularly Murad, went above and beyond to take care of me. He thoughtfully explained which sites to visit and flawlessly arranged transport for me. Breakfast was an exceptional experience—a feast for the senses. Every dish was artfully presented in beautiful little bowls, with a new delicacy to savor each day. I had my own cozy breakfast corner, complete with a charming rose-patterned sofa, where I could savor my breakfast in perfect comfort.

I turned up without a booking and Mourad was so accommodating. He couldn't do enough to make sure my trip went smoothly. The riad is in a quiet part of the medina. Peaceful sleeps with comfortable bed & pillows. The riad was clean & tidy with fabulous decor. Rashida the beautiful smiley chef prepared the best breakfasts and I also ordered chicken tagine for the 1st night which was delicious. My only criticism would be pricing of the meals. I usually pay far less in England and Spain for a tagine. 17€ is 3 x higher than restaurants in the medina.

Nothing negative to say as I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely return in the future

Beautiful house and well located. Staff is amazing, welcoming and helpful. We particularly enjoyed Mourad's (hope I got his name right) service and help answering all our questions about the medina. Rooms are spacious.

The hotel feels slightly unfinished - work is still going on on the rooftop and the main common areas are empty. The hotel could benefit from more ambiance and lighting (especially after sundown where all the lights are turned off and the place is completely dark) but that did not affect the overall comfort.

Exceptionally attentive service provided by all the staff, Mourad took care of me very well during my three days stay and the cooking by Rashida was amazing (I had two breakfasts and three dinners, they were all tasty, though the dinners were bit pricy.) The room is spacious, decorated tastefully with colourful traditional features, with the comfortable bed and the good hot water pressured shower. Good Wifi connection throughout of Riad.

Located at a little away from the touristic centre of Medina. Though it made my stay more interesting to see more local side of Medina.

Staying at this woman-owned business and charming 17th century Moroccan riad was a treat! We loved the beautiful tile work and other architectural and decorative features. We had a spacious room with a private bathroom. It was wonderful to have relaxing hot showers. Breakfasts were served in the beautiful center room and included a variety of breads, beverages, local jam, honey, oil, butters, olives, and fruit. The owner and staff were very friendly, attentive, easy to communicate with, and ready to help with planning activities and scheduling breakfasts at our convenience. The riad is well located near a main entrance to the old city. By watching their video online, we were able to learn how to walk from this main gate in a few minutes to the riad, but it's also possible to be met at the gate and led to the riad when first arriving. Since cars are not allowed in the old city, it was easy to walk the narrow streets with our luggage. The riad is just a few minutes walk from the main street of the market. We also enjoyed exploring the ruins near the main entrance to the old city. A comfortable stay in a convenient location and beautiful surroundings.

Wauw, what a stay. It was our first night In Morocco and we absolutely loved it. Mourad was the most gentle hoste, it felt like a second home. Even after some nights in other Riads, this was by far the best experience. Everything was good, the room, breakfast, … but nothing compaired to the hospitality. He showed us all the way to a very good restaurant and gave us many tips for our stay in Fez. 10/10! Can’t wait to stay here again!

Fantastic experience! Riad Rasia is very beautiful and located close to Bab Guissa, one of the gates of the medina. Upon our arrival we were welcomed with mint tea and delicious homemade cookies. The room was big and comfortable and the breakfast was very good as well. Special thanks to the very kind and funny Mohamed, who made our stay special: every time we got back to the riad, we had a lot of fun talking with him before going to our room. He organised two day trips for us, made sure breakfast was served slightly earlier on a day when we had to get up early and even accompanied us to a pharmacy when my boyfriend was not feeling well. Thank you so much Mohamed, we really hope to meet you again!

Only slight downside is that the room is a bit dark, otherwise a perfect stay!

The Riad is tastefully renovated - keeping in mind its 17th century history. The rooms are spacious and the facilities were adequate. Mohammed was excellent - always available and checking in to see if we needed any help. The ladies, Nafisa and Youefa were good too. they accommodated the special meals for our 3 year old son. Location - its right in the heart of the Medina, however its a bit of a walk from the gates.

Meals - On our first night we had an amazing array of salads, followed by Tagine and flan for desert. However, the next night we had Tagine and some accompaniments followed by fruits and the last night we had only the Tagine - we had to ask for extra food! We did raise it up with Mohammed but unfortunately we didn't receive a satisfactory response. The breakfast was 1 croissant, crepe and 1 cupcake which wasn't fresh at all, looked from a microwave - with a kitchen in the property we expected fresh breakfast.

This was the most spectacular stay during our extensive trip through Morocco. So beautiful, so many nice details, the delicious breakfast, the homemade sweets, a great place. Special thanks to Mourad who made our stay unique and helped us with everything. Thanks again.

Keep it like this, everything was perfect.
