The bed was wonderfully comfortable with excellent pillows. The room was also very warm and quiet, which surprised us, as it is such an old building. Daphne checked in on us in the first day and was able to help us to figure out how to work the TV; she was also easy to contact. The location was perfect, an easy walk to the main area and with a bike rental, supermarket and restaurants a short walk away. While the stairs were daunting initially, after a day we were very used to them and had no issues. There was a lovely view from the windows. Even the painting on the wall of the three women kept my interest haha. We would happily stay again.
Only issues were the TV was a bit finicky and the shower head was loose, so had to be carefully balanced.

This was a light and bright located apartment in the residential area of Amsterdam It was a good base to see the sights from and located in a lovely area It was within walking distance of restaurants and pubs and the tourist attractions The host was very welcoming and eager to assist where she could
The apartment was only 1 km from the Central Station but we found it difficult to find and needed to use google maps to locate it. Once we found it, it was a good location to stay in. The apartment was on the 3rd floor and only assessible by a tight spiral wooden staircase. We found it difficult to get our big suitcases up the stairs.

The location was great, seemed like a very cool area. About 20 min walk to the Central station. The studio room is a good size. The host was very good at communication. Bathroom and shower were also a good size.
The 'kitchen' sink area was very small, and things like plates/glasses were very basic/minimal. There was no air-conditioning or fan, but luckily it wasn't very hot during our stay. However, I think it would be uncomfortable for guests if there was not even a pedestal fan during hot weather. Our apartment was on the top floor (3rd floor) with very steep/narrow stairs (which is part of the Amsterdam experience!) but this would be good to keep in mind if you're a solo traveler with heavy luggage.

The room was fit for purpose and was comfortable. It was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and it was within walking distance of most of the things we wanted to do during our stay.
The room was very hot despite us not having the heating on. Only having one set of keys was also a bit of an nuisance and made leaving the apartment separately harder. We also had one nstance where we couldn't get in the apartment as the key/lock got stuck for a good 15 minutes. The shower needs to be fixed, it needs a new clasp and shower head as this was the worst part of the apartment and it was broken

Excellent location. Best part of town for cute shops/ canal rides/ local bars/ restau & a close walk to the busier more touristy parts of Amsterdam. The roof-top view from bed is really beautiful & being able to open up all the windows on a hot day was delightful. The bathroom has been updated recently and was spacious & very clean. Comfy bed!
This place could use some love. The dishes, towels, sheets, etc. have not been updated in quite a while & it was needing a good dust cleaning around non-working tv modum. Also, not mentioned on website: it’s located across the street from a playground used by nearby schools during the morning, day & in the evening (we got used to this tho). One more thing; the room we stayed in was up 3 very steep flights of (narrow Dutch- style) stairs and so be wary if you would find this challenging.

Amazing Apartment! The location is great: central but not touristic, close to a beautiful market and lots of bars and supermarkets close by. The room was beautiful, the huge windows allowed the sun to shine in all day long and the host was incredibly nice. He was available all the time and helped when help was needed, and I felt really comfortable there. So I would absolutely recommend to stay there when visiting Amsterdam!

lovely property, comfy bed and had everything we needed. we were in a corner room with windows to both sides so it was lovely and light and meant that we had a good breeze coming through when it was very hot as we were able to open all the windows. good location, away from the more tourist areas but with a good selection of local bars and restaurants and within an easy walk to attractions such as Anne Frank House.
the property overlooked a school / playground so could be a little noisy between 3-5 and after that it was quiet. the stairs are steep but manageable - neither me or my husband are fitness fanatics and we were fine.

Location was excellent. Host was extremely helpful and always available via message to answer questions and provide recommendations throughout stay.
Nothing at all. Only comment is that the property has a narrow, winding staircase although this was referenced in the pre-stay communication but just to highlight that heavy luggage not suitable :)

The flat was really cute, and super bright. Bed was extremely comfortable. Location absolutely perfect to get around Amsterdam on foot. The check in was easy and the communication from the host was very good.
The only things bringing the rating down slightly was attention to detail - like soap bottles being empty in the shower, and one of the plates was not clean.

I liked the view, the location in Jordaan which Is a very nice And calm part of Amsterdam and practically in the center. Appartment was clean And light, bed was comfortable. It definetly has Its charm with the many windows.
You have to ve ready for the steep stairs which Is a common situation in older Amsterdam houses. The appartment Is really small, for one person perfect And for two in love as well 😉. You cannot cook, only warm up in microwave And make hot drinks.
