Clean hotel, friendly staff, pretty good location. Very nice view at the rooftop restaurant, worth to visit!

Policy to clean rooms only every 3 days. It took some time for us to notice that we have to fill in a form and give it to the reception until 10am. Also no fridge at the room.

The area was beyond amazing, right next to a very nice park and petting farm for children where you can pet goats and other animals. The rooms are very nice and the receptionist responsive. The hotel is right next to a tram towards central for easy access around the city. If you want to eat something the restaurant at the hotel has a great variety of very tasty food, there are also several Uber Eats nearby that deliver to the hotel and if you wish to you can cross the park to a multitude of great cafés and restaurants just a 2-5 min walk away. The service was really good and they even have a cute little snack corner that is open 24/7 which me and my partner loved visiting. The tv in the room has both youtube and netflix for those cozy latenights and at the bottom floor there is a sauna and workout area free of charge. Dont miss out on the rooftop terrace! the view is amazing.

When we arrived we immediately asked for room service, and albeit everything was nicely cleaned there was one issue we continously came across with our sheets - several red stains? It happened even though the reception told us that all sheets are new and the cleaner changes it upon cleaning. They were kind enough to give us a fresh new pair but it did make us laugh and conspire about some sort of ketchup mystery happening downstairs in the laundry rooms haha.

My room was great size, comfortable, especially liked the window sill 'chaise lounge', good size desk with comfy chair, great view from 11th floor. Breakfast was good, I had scrambled egg, bacon, fried egg, toast, croisants, yoghurt, orange juice n coffee and with a great time span 07:00 -10:30 and on the 17th floor has a great view. Very handy to get back to Schipol airport, just a 20 minute walk to the train station, a 3.2 Euro train ticket with 6 minute journey, trains every 15 mins!

Only that for me is was a little too far from downtown Amsterdam as I like to walk around city and I either had to hire a bike (from hotel was 14 later 18 Euros per day or 2 day tram tickets at 14.5 Euros. Walking into area near Central station took me about 50 mins although I am 72!

Location was great - the city center is easily accessible by tram or bike. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Basic room set-up and amenities, but nice nonetheless. We took advantage of the bike rental and airport shuttle (both great). We didn't eat or drink at the rooftop, but we took a look at the view and it seemed really nice. The bar/coffee shop/convenience store in the lobby was great for a last minute snack or drink. Overall, a good stay. I would book it again!

Mostly minor things: our bathroom door didn't close all the way. The soap dispenser was empty when we arrived (and even after room service was not replaced). Our shower was one of those half-door set-ups so water gets all on the floor. Some of the rental bikes could use maintenance (still adequate! they just need some minor attention). Bed was really soft, which some might like, I just prefer a firm mattress. The TV is kind of a joke - the remote hardly worked (maybe it needs batteries?), no way to chromecast or stream, can't hook up an HDMI, and the channels they do have load extremely slowly, or not at all. I think we had a basic room, but a fridge would have been nice.

We really enjoyed our stay with clean and comfortable rooms, the breakfast on the 17th floor was really tasty, and the staff very helpful, booking a shuttle to the airport was easy. Even though it’s a big hotel, we rarely saw anyone on our floor! Easy to get into the centre by trams that are a couple of minutes walk away.

The lobby has quite a strong smell that felt overpowering - lucky we didn’t need to spend much time in the lobby. They pride themselves on being environmentally friendly, so reducing the amount of paperwork on check in would be a positive as this could be done online or via an email.

Lovely room and facilities, really comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Breakfast was great and amazing view of Amsterdam from the top.

Location - needed a taxi every time to go into central Amsterdam which added up quickly so the cheaper cost of being out of centre was void. At both check in/ check out there were queues of people waiting. Not enough staff at these times, also if you had a query around these times of day the staff were too busy with check in/outs.

As per my request (it was our anniversary), we got a room on one of the highest levels of the hotel, with a view over the whole city and very close to the amazing rooftop bar. Our room was covered in rose leafs and we were greeted with a nice card from the reception lady and some delicious sweets. The room was very clean and I especially appreciated the couch, located in front of the large windows. I could not stop staring at the view. The reception people were very friendly and it's quite convenient they also rent bikes. The location of the hotel is not super central, but what is central is such a gigantic city, right? Believe me, the location is really not a problem. There's a tram that takes you to Dam square in 15 mins and Amsterdam is too big anyway to have everything within walking distance. You will most likely take a bike or public transport to go somewhere in the city center, whether you like it or not. I think it's even better to be just outside of city. It's a lot greener, more quiet and spacious, and you'll definitely experience more value for money (and less tourist traps). One big plus, which I totally did not expect: staying in Rembrandtpark made us discover so many new neighborhoods/areas/restaurants and bars, which we definitely would never have found/visited if we stayed in the city center, like most tourists do. Honestly, the areas outside the city center are SOOO beautiful too, and so nice to explore. I am very happy with my overall experience, and I am pretty sure that every cliché-avoiding traveller will say so too.

That I only booked 1 week stay.

Modern model and very close to the metro station. A girl from from the reception made all our bookings for the museums.. she was very polite :)

1. The fry eggs in batch for the breakfast which always gets cold and unfortunately i dont eat cold fried eggs for breakfast. 2. Room service should be provided for the night. 3. Staff at the reception ( i dont know his name) was not helpful at all for helping me to order my food from an app. Coming from another country, i dont know the Dutch language and its normal to ask for assistance at 1 am to order for food.. but unfortunately the guy 'does not help for ordering food' and 'he had a lot of work' !! Thats what he said !! anyways ...

Love the hotel and tram links. The hotel has great rooms and bathrooms so big. Early check in was good and quick check in Waiter on floor 17 was great and even when so busy he had time for a joke and a bit of fun. Well done. Great stay I love Amsterdam and the hotel just not all 10 raring as this wasnt our best stay l will stay again

I think it was a busy time for the hotel with the contestants for euro vision being there. It made the reception area less inviting and rather busy and we usually like to chill in there. The bar on floor 17 was very busy and we left the bar following a long wait just to get drinks and we wanted to eat but left. We decided to have a wine in our room but I was told I couldn't have a wine glass as people don't bring them back. We had to use paper cups which wasn't great. But staff were very polite in telling me. Little touches like that are what makes it a nice stay especially when staff are so busy with other guests from eurovision.

Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable; location was okay but needed to catch the tram (just behind the hotel) to get to the city centre; room was spacious and good storage and view; breakfast was superb - lots to choose from and staff cleared/cleaned tables regularly; tv had a number of choices including BBC.

A fridge in the room would be useful and a proper kettle rather than just a coffee machine; perhaps a few more accessories in the bathroom e.g. shower cap, soap etc Restaurant was lovely but menu needs to change or have daily specials on regular basis and more comfortable seating rather than stools; music could be a bit noisy at times.
