Very clean, great location, close to everything, a short walk from the Amsterdam Central train station, has an elevator, air condition is good.

In the same floor there are different levels with up and down stairs in between rooms. Which is not suitable for elders or guests with knee problems.

Great location of the hotel to the station, to great restaurants and the livelier sides of Amsterdam. Also a short hop to the shopping districts and a slower pace to the city.

A few bits in the room were awry. Dodgy leg under the bed. And the shower door was lose and had to be clipped back in.

Well, a definite three star but in its favour it was very close to Amsterdam Centraal and at a reasonable cost for a major city centre hotel. Non-smoking and a good selection of breakfast items (Pro tip - breakfast is cheaper if you pay for it at the hotel). The staff were excellent and booking in was quick and efficient. There were no other meals available, nor was any alcohol so no drinks available at the hotel. However, walk out the door turn right and there's a nice little bar virtually next door. Room was clean and comfortable and the en-suite bathroom was also clean - though take your own shower/shampoo items as the ones supplied were very small. Also it was not too noisy at night. I would also recommend that guests take a while finding their way around the floors as the place is a bit like a rabbit warren with both down and up steps on the same floor. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay and would definitely book this hotel again on my next trip the Amsterdam.

XO Hotels City Centre The hotel is in a Great central location, close to shopping center and train station 7 minutes walk. great staff. The front desk workers and staff are the friendliest and most helpful ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. We arrived a little early and checked in for free which was lovely. In the room, the facilities were good. The shower was nice and hot and the bed comfortable. There was a free safe in the room which was very helpful and the housekeeping team topped us up with new coffee and tea every day which I enjoyed.

Our room didn't have an external window and was right next to the passage for breakfast. The darkness meant we could sleep in but the foot traffic to the breakfast hall prevented it. I also couldn't use the hairdryer as it was an old fashioned one that feels like it is simply heating your wet hair rather than drying it. The weather was good while we were there though, so it wasn't too bad. We were disappointed that there was no bar or lounge area.

The room was nice and the bathroom was lovely. It was clean and had vending machines for food if you needed it. Right in the centre so it’s great for location but be warned it’s near a church and the bell goes off every 30 mins, it can make it hard to sleep at times but apart from that the room was good.

There were a few occasions where we witnessed staffs personal conversations and were openly ignoring customers checking in to finish the conversation and it was clear it wasn’t work related. We heard staff shouting at each other at least once a day, the staff seem very unhappy there and it made it slightly uncomfortable when walking around the hotel

Staffs were friendly and informative. We arrived pretty late but they’re always on standby and they helped us with booking airport transfers. We stayed at the three bed room so it was really spacious. They had nespresso capsules and the machine in the rooms which was also a plus. Bathroom is also clean and had good lighting.

The building has elevators but there are a lot of narrow stairs and turns in the hallways, so you should be careful when navigating through it. The bedroom has dimmed lighting and most have no windows so it was pretty humid.

The location is amazing! 5 minute walk from central station and 5minute walk from red light district, Sam for Dam Square. I let the property know I was planning to propose and they made sure to give us a lovely room. Even though can’t check in till 3pm the free luggage storage was great to use both when checking in and after check out.

No kettle in room, only Nespresso machine which I don’t think is as hygienic as a kettle. If you are a tea drinker bring your own tea bags, as Lipton tea is Holland first choice and not the best.

The location is great, short walk from Amsterdam central station. We were here before and that time the room was tiny and very basic, so we weren't expecting too much. We only came for the night, so we didn't mind as the price is good for Amsterdam. But we were in room 312 this time and this room was great! Spacious, clean,, lovely bathroom and shower, fridge, tea and coffee, clean towels! Also no noise from the street this time. There is a lift. Great value for money.

Not much we didn't like. The hotel is in the red light district, so depending where you are in the hotel, there could be some noise from the bars and the street below. We didn't have any problems with it though.

the property was in a brilliant location with a 2 minute walk to the tram line. It’s a 5 minute walk from the central and in walking distance of all the tourist attractions such as Anne Franks, The A’Dam Tower, Tony Chocolonys and Red Light District. we arrived late so was given what they quoted as ‘not such a nice room compared to the other’s but to our surpise it was still lovely. the next morning we were given an option to change rooms in which we did and we were so pleased. very accommodating staff, friendly and caring. truly exceptional. spoke brilliant English.

If you arrive late in the night you will get given one of the less luxury rooms as they don’t reserve specific rooms
