The hotel itself and the rooms were large, clean, comfortable and pleasant. We really felt cosy. All workers are very nice, welcoming and helpful. We asked for kitchen stuff and immedietly got a kit with everything we needed (we also ate in the restaurant sometimes and enjoyed the food and service). The rented bikes were good for traveling in the city (not for long distances)

In one of the two rooms the water pressure in the shower wasn't the best and water was very hot but it didn't bother us that much so we didn't even bother to tell reception. Also the air conditioning was a bit weak and the room was warm, but we opened the window and it was great.

The location was very good— a short walk to the city center. Place was clean and there was plenty of bicycle parking in front of the property. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

The room was spacious and clean, but a bit stuffy. Luckily, the windows opened a bit. The room had no bed light and the only light switch for the overhead lighting was by the door. The breakfast was hectic and clearly under-staffed. Tables weren’t cleaned; and we had to wait like 15 minutes for the buffet food to be refilled. There were no clean cups for coffee and when staff finally brought some out, swarms of other guests descended and promptly took them all.

Hotel is hip, comfortable, and welcomes guests with bite size chocolates of all colours. Has many services I did not use (bike, fitness, breakfast, extras). I stayed in a room with an amazing balcony view. The keys are wood-like and say 'open minds open doors' - the entire place is filled with inspirational notes, often with environmentally aware notes.

I did not select breakfast because they have a cafe. Coffee was excellent but there were no options of food besides their buffet menu - which offered no fresh fruit. A magnifier mirror in the toilet is always welcome.

The staff was extremely nice with us, the room was big and clean! There even was a little coffee maker and a hairdryer in the room and also coffee, tea, two bottles of water, the dutch waffles with caramel and a nice postcard waiting for us :) We felt really welcomed! The hotel is big and has a nice young/student vibe, there are areas for work and a lot of couches and tables where you can eat or just chill out. It also has a cafeteria and a bar in the first floor. We loved this place and if we come back to Rotterdam someday we'll definitely book our stay in The Social Hub again. Thank you! :)

The only thing is that the cafeteria/bar in the hotel (and another restaurants in the area) closes at 10 pm, even on Saturday, that can be kind of shocking for spanish people because we are used to have dinner and drinks late. But I imagine this is a normal thing in the Netherlands :)

Clean, modern hotel, big space for work and entertainment (ping-pong..). We had a fridge and a small induction cooker in the room, a spacious bed and a desk. Good breakfast. Near the tram stop and metro stop "Blaak". The next time I'll be in Rotterdam, I'll return here! Than you for excellent stay!

As soon as we checked in, our room had a strong smell of spices, this smell persisted for 2 days (we don't use the kitchen for cooking). It is not critical, but fact

It is a social hub; you can access the gym without additional fees, and they have some events available, which is great!

Some of the photos can be misleading. E.g., we decided to pay more for a specific room because of the two separate zones in the pictures - sleeping and working; Meanwhile, when we received the keys and visited the room, there was only one common space without any separation. Our room also needed a bit of refreshment.

Super Nice people helping out with any needs. Nice Common rooms, not hard to run in to someone else who is alsof traveling to chat with

Looks a little less fresh than the pics, it's a maze to navigate through, hard to do with a weelchair (a lot of doors to open and quite a long route (i'm in a weelchair to minimize fatigue and it was making me quite tired to get to the room, one elevator out of service)). Thankfully they gave us a room closer to the enterance. Still 2 Doors + steep ramp on the way there

The hotel has a very good location with plenty of parking places around. The design is very nice and modern with a l lot of facilities inside. The game room and the gym were really nice. Since many guests were actually students living there, it was nice to be part of their daily life.

Your key only opens your side of the building. If you are travelling with freinds and they are staying in a different section, you won't be able to go visit them just like that. But this system is more secure this way which is why, we were totally fine with it.

The staff was super helpful and lovely! location is great, centre of the city easily accessible by tram. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. We also enjoyed the small chocolates left on the bed as a welcome gift and the "safety first" condom.

We wished was that the kitchenette came with a coffee machine. An additional ceiling light would also be nice as the room was a bit dark.

I liked that we could rent bikes for the day, at the hotel. The staff was very friendly. The commodities downstairs were really cool and nicely designed. We had the chance that our room was very quiet because is was not on the street side. It's also practical (although not essential) to have access to the wifi without having to have a code for it. Thanks for all that!

We weren't told that there was a limit hour to order breakfast for the next day. I consider 12,50€ for 1 breakfast already enough (not that cheap), but I was upset with the 14,50€. That was really exaggerated (I guess when you order everything for the next day, you already count a percentage more of the goods you're buying, knowing that some people don't order before...) I don't see why an additional 2€/pp is necessary. Also, I'm not sure that students can pay more than a 100€/ night to stay at the hotel? It's a good hotel, but I think it's really expensive. The rooms (+ bed and bathroom) are really small. Not the kind that should cost over a 100€/night.
