Spot on location. Nice lay-out of the common area. Beds were sturdy and comfortable.

All in all good but i do want to point 1 thing out as i am certain i was not the first. One of the top bunks was very close to the ceiling, which is to be expected with this unusual architecture. The ceiling however is layered with a sharp gravel like structure, working like a cheese grate. I was not the first to grate my hand (or head?), as visible by the old blood smears on the ceilings.. Please fix this, otherwise great place to stay.

The hostel has a great location, right in one of Rotterdam's top attractions. Very friendly staff, delicious buffet breakfast, room access with a key card. And an unforgettable architectural experience from the outside and especially from the inside.The bed was very comfortable, everywhere was clean.

Towels are not included in the price. You need to bring your own or rent them at the reception. The lockers are lockable, but be careful, you have to bring your own padlock, but it has to be big enough, otherwise your locker can be opened without any problems... I was also surprised that you have to make the bed yourself (this has only happened to me once in a hostel in Ukraine...). Luckily I slept on the bottom bunk.

First of the staff, very professional and amazingly talented. Always ready. The breakfast was complete, lots of options, fresh fruits. The pizza was simple but with quality. The rooms are nice, the temperature was good. The bed itself comfortable.every common room was cleaned. The pool table is nice, its help make friends. I would suggest to put even more options like darts maybe? Calm music in the reception, gives a warm atmosphere, ohhhhhhh thanks for the ear plugs!!!! I will definitely stay there again.

I didn’t like that, there was no lockers in the rooms, and no place to put the towel to dry. The same for where to leave the shoes, outside of the dorm. The shower itself is not very good for Girls washing the hair, the water goes everywhere. But for a quick body shower,not an issue.

The location is amazing, for sure i'am gonna do some events there.

I told them, i hope it helps with improvement: When i went first in the room, the smell was not so good, also there where all close on the chairs And before i checkout, i grab my children champaign and my laptop too work and someone from the staff just snaped at me that i am not allowed too drink in there place. And after she ask if i stay there. I just say i stay there. So i don't know if there are legal business becouse i ask for company invoice and i receive a private invoce ( just for my name) so i cannot give that too my secretary.

No kitchen or fridge, no hot water. really expensive. €44 for a bed in a shared room with a broken toilet flush isn't exactly value for money. breakfast was provided, but extremely limited, and most items got finished pretty fast, with no attempt to provide enough for every guest. more than half of the guests didn't get a croissant, for example. toaster didn't work either. I was also double charged, cash on arrival, and they charged my bank card several hours later. they didn't bother to respond to me about this, and it took OVER 40 DAYS and SO MANY ATTEMPTS to contact them before they finally refunded my money (with no compensation or gesture of goodwill). left a sour taste to have to fight so hard for the refund.

After my 3 nights in a private room with friends I spent a night in a shared dorm. The same excellent breakfast, good beds, pleased to be able to check in late. Plus I met some nice people in the room. This room had no external window so no drafts or outside noise or smoke smell which was great. Had an air conditioning machine which was a but noisy but did the job well and didn't disturb me. Very pleased with the price too.

There are no facilities to lock your belongings in the room. Being with 7 strangers felt vulnerable to just leave all my bags on a shelf. It was fine in the end but I'd brought a padlock and would have preferred a cupboard with a door!

Great deals with the prices and include breakfast. The location is easy to reach. Everything is fine. Actually I booked separately with my friends and we asked the receptionist to get in the same room, and luckily we got in the same room. Nice and friendly receptionist, he can speak English and ducth. Our windows face the sky and are covered so we have no view of anything to look at.

A bit noisy at night in the alley and the next room around half past 12 p.m, even though I read the rules not to be noisy after 10 p.m. but that's it,

The staffs made the awkward stay more memorable. Julia with drinks & front office colleagues are all very knowledgeable (multi talented & little Pandora boxes.) Unique design, basically just next to the train station (metro, tram, bus and boat) Easily to locate & very close to major attractions (even Santa Claus was 12min walk) & the market!

Other guests and visitors are unaware of voice pollution. Other tourists (Indian, Spanish, Italian & Chinese) with children are very loud (even in the night) The opposite coffee shop have blocks for guests and children to play with, kind of loud. Toilet shower (push timer and shower head clogging, will spray everywhere) and light is also on timer (for long pooper, might need to make sure your phone is with you, few time I had to swing my mobile lights.

Almost everything was very good! I stayed in Stayokay Amsterdam in January and that is why I chose Stayokay Rotterdam. If I come Netherlands again, I hope I come, definitely I will choose Stayokay and recommend to all friends.

Hello, The censor light in the shower does not work properly. While having shower It does not detect your movement as it should. The shower tap works by pushing and light works with censor. Then you see yourself while waving one hand for the light and the other for pushing the shower tap. You can’t enjoy the shower, at least I couldn’t. Beside this, I want to draw your attention to this information: “The eyes need to adapt to the low lighting condition after you switch off the lights, a process called dark adaptation.” As the showers are wet and slippery places it can be very dangerous for your guests. And please keep in mind that Accident happens once! Better to prevent it.

The rooms are nice and clean. The location of the hostel is not only very nice looking but it is also very well located. The rooms have funny windows and breakfast is great, very tasty and you can eat as much as you want. You get hot water always for free (even after breakfast). The Hotel WiFi is good and you access the hotel and your room by using a keycard. You get 1 x power plug and a reading light by your bed

The lockers in the room are quite spacious but they could be cleaned more often. Just for your information. Late check-out costs 20 Euro.
