Overall an excellent stay, would definitely return. Great location close to tram stop (Stadthuis) for access to Den Haag or other areas of Rotterdam. Also close to tourist information, comfortable walking distance to Erasmus bridge for harbour tours or Waterbus, or can get the tram closer. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Room was very quiet despite hotel being on the main road. Staff were friendly and efficient & happy to help with luggage storage before check-in & after check out. Nice to have the option of rooms not being cleaned every day for longer stays (& receive free drink voucher if opt out of cleaning) Good sized room, plenty of storage space, armchairs & desk and large bathroom including bath tub. Breakfast was fine for me but choices of some items more limited than I might have expected for this size/rating of hotel.

It could be difficult to get space in the breakfast room at popular times & staff seemed to struggle to restock items quickly enough (both food and crockery/glasses for juice etc). Choices of some items quite limited e.g bread rolls, cereal. Cereals in quite small awkward containers & both these and yogurts emptied quickly. Lifts are fairly small so although there are 3 of them you may have to wait a while at busy times around breakfast/check-out.

The location is excellent. About a 10 min walk from Rotterdam Centraal station and a very close to Linjbaan the shopping district. I travelled with family so I was very grateful that our rooms could have been accommodated on the same floor. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. A very wide variety. Also, the ease of ordering ameneties via the app/web-browser was very convenient and quick.

The hotel itself was a bit dated (carpet etc). Housekeeping wasn't as thorough as I'd like but that could have been because someone was in the room at time of cleaning and they might have felt a bit rushed.

Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. They helped a lot to find a proper room. The rooms and beds can be considered to be clean (absolutely no complaints). Rooms are well equipped and offer enough space. A lot of TV channels are available in many different languages. Extensive breakfast with many yummy ways to get full. The breakfast room is really big and you can find a quiet corner. Hotel is centrally located. Parking space opportunities are not far away, but should be reserved online in advance. Just had a quick look at the fitness room, but it seems to be nice as well.

Building is pretty old with simple windows (no double glazing?) and old fashioned window shutter (noisy environment cannot fully kept outside but i could fell asleep very easy). Found hair in the mushrooms at the breakfast buffet two times - complained the second time, staff apologized. Bathrooms only equipped with shower cabin are very small. The toilet can only be used if you sit on it at an angle to avoid touching the sink. (It's better to stay with bath tub.) The Balkony at one room was full of cigarette ends and it smelled a bit smoky when opening the window.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Right in the city center within walking distance of pretty much everything from a shopping mall to the main monuments (15 minute walk maximum). The staff are very nice , the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious

No A/C wasn’t in our favor as it was very hot at night , the hotel did provide a small fan though. The check in took 50 minutes of waiting in line , the staff are nice but they’re either understaffed or the systems are too old. 50 minutes of waiting and there were only 3 people before us. The gym was a nice touch but there is only one weight machine and it’s broken.

The hotel is superbly located in the city center, which was a definite plus for us. Furthermore, it exudes the charm of the 70s style, which gives it a unique and cozy atmosphere. The room was immaculately clean, and the bathroom featured a bathtub, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. One of the standout aspects of this hotel is its exceptionally friendly staff. They were always welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. In fact, they even offered complimentary ice cream, which was a delightful treat. Their warm and hospitable nature made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at this hotel. Its central location, retro-inspired ambiance, cleanliness, and the genuinely welcoming staff made it a memorable stay. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming accommodation in the heart of the city.

One downside we experienced during our stay was the uncomfortable bed. Unfortunately, the mattress lacked support and comfort, making it difficult for me to get a good night's sleep.

We were initially a bit worried after reading other reviews on this hotel but we found the room to be very big with a nice view, and we were provided with almost everything we needed. We did not have slippers in our room and so we asked at the front desk, where the supplied us with a pair each. Everything was clean and tidy. Loved the size of our bathroom! Front desk staff were all very polite and knowledgable. Shout out to Jamie for our warm welcome. She let us know that if we were happy to take a room with twin beds instead of a queen then we could check in early, however we wanted the latter so she kindly showed us where to store our luggage until we were ready to check in again later. We thought we had booked a room with air conditioning and later found out that we had made a mistake. The room did however come with a small fan which we found in the wardrobe. It was quite dusty so we wiped it down before we used it and with the window open at night, we found we were able to have a good night sleep.

We got bitten by mosquitoes over night, most likely due to having kept the window open for some fresh air.

The room was not very large; but had it's comfort. People at the frontdesk were helpful and nice compared to manny other Dutch hotels. I loved the feeling of privacy: eventhough I had to pass in front of the frontdesk everytime I did not get the feeling that somebody is watching and/or wondering.

They did not have airconditioning and sometimes it was hot at night. I did have a window, but when the people/traffic is loud outside I had to close it.

I haven`t had breakfast hence not able to evaluate.

In general there is nothing to complain. Of course rooms need some renovation and place was little noisy (but it is normal at a central location).

Breakfast was excellent as usual. The breakfast staff was super helpful and kind. The room was spacious and comfortable. Check-in staff was super, the guy let me checked in earlier. Many front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, but not all.

The bathtub was dirty 🤮 The shower gel dispenser was not working, when I told the guy at the reception, his first response was that perhaps it was I didn’t press it properly 😂, I was like really?! Only when I said again that I tried many times and needs to be replaced, then he apologised and said it will do something about 🤷‍♂️ Most of the staff was very kind and helpful, few unfortunately had a very patronising attitude and sometimes rude approach that didn’t make me feel very welcome.

When I first arrived and in that original day there were some issues , it was brought to the attention of the hotel and the Manager , Robert , he corrected everything promptly . Robert and the staff exceeded my expectations . I would definitely recommend this hotel and would myself stay there again The hotel is clean , staff very friendly The location was perfect. It felt like my home away from home
