It wasn't far from the places we needed to be & also was nice and close to town and shopping centres.

When we first got into our room the bathroom floor looked as if it hadn't been mopped as it still had water on the floor and shoe marks, there was also a drink bottle on our counter that didnt belong to any of us. I think for the amount we paid as we got 2 rooms to cater to 7 of us, the least we could have was a clean room without someone elses used drink bottle.

This just became my go-to hotel when transiting through Auckland airport. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. While the actual structure of the hotel is concrete block, it has been painted and decorated so it appears really modern. We loved all the extras, such as the lollies and popcorn in the lobby, the drinks in our mini bar, and even the toiletries were great! The hotel can be reached via the yellow bus, or as we did, by Uber (which worked out to be cheaper, and quicker, for us than the bus). While there is an in-house restaurant, we chose to eat at “Indian Express”, which is about 100m down the road. The gym has modern gear, with a few multi stations, an elliptical trainer, treadmills, and bikes. I would happily recommend this hotel!!!

Since I last stayed, it could do with a little love to bring back the Naumi charm in full force. Small but meaningful changes like having the complimentary mini bar available in the rooms rather than having to request, the lollie selections at the bar not just hard toffees, the empty snack vending machines close to the lobby etc maybe move them away so the space can be utilised, would really lift things further. Thank you.

The room was quite comfortable and clean and we had 2 double beds in there as we had 2 teenage children with us. Our flight was cancelled so it was an unexpected stay. We used the gym and that was great and minibar was included in price of the room so that was a welcome relief for an unexpected booking.

The meal prices in the in-house restaurant were expensive!!! Also, when we booked the shuttle to get back to the airport at front reception, it did not turn up. We were told we needed to give a certain amount of time notice, which we gave a few hours extra notice. It turned out the person at reception forgot to inform the shuttle bus back to the airport so we were left waiting out the front after checkout for a much longer period of time. It was only when I went back in and checked that someone informed me the shuttle had never been booked. Thankfully we were not on a tight time-frame...

Before check-in, the hotel keeps us consistently informed. At check-in, Mr. Pulkit, the manager on duty, performed his job with excellent service and smiles. We got everything we requested. Our 3 newly renovated rooms are near each other and have been upgraded. The room has complimentary snacks (chips, choc bars, and popcorn). Check-out was quick and easy. Free parking. The hotel is not too near to the airport. You need to take the Yellow bus, which costs 8 dollars for each person. The facilities are good, including bathroom amenities, sandals, coffee, tea, a kettle, and a fridge with big beds.

Nothing really, except you cannot walk from the airport to the hotel, and there is no free shuttle service by the hotel. This is understandable, as the pandemic changed everything for travelers and the tourist industry.

Rooms were great, had everything we needed as we are not fussy. Plus side was the heater provided as NZ is abit on the cold side considering where we are from. I liked how close it was to a number of places such as good shopping and food areas, airport, hospital (as we had a little emergency in the middle of the night and couldn't wait for a Dr to arrive to the hotel), safe and gated car parks, bus stop is right across the road and the little shopping area right next door to the hotel. Also, the yellow bus was a big plus for us getting to and from the airport and ungodly hours of the morning which was affordable and easy to get. Not forgetting the Reception (manager & shift) , maintenance and cleaning staff were amazing, friendly and welcoming. Only dined at the restaurant once for breakfast which the breakfast buffet had a variety of freshly cooked and cold options available and was pretty good to for the price. Other than that we dined out majority of the time.

The holds on the cards as the security for staying there as we have issues with our bank providers here in the Islands. I understand its to ensure you cover your damages or unpaid bills, but i would have been happy with you guys having my card on file. But, i am grateful for you guys assisting me in sorting this.

The easy touch screen check-in/checkout process. The comfortable bed. The amazing buffet breakfast and my pork belly dish at the restaurant. Great water pressure in the shower. There was plenty of space and plugs to charge my electronic devices next to the bed. Good lighting in the room. There was plenty of space for luggage storage. Big minibar fridge. Hotel close to 7/11 next door

The $14 return ticket bus ride from the airport. The restaurant had rubbish on the floor when I had dinner. The restaurant staff were unprofessional as they initially recorded the wrong room number on my dinner docket and had to be corrected, and I was questioned 4 times from different people if i was a guest staying at the hotel when I was having breakfast. The bathroom in my room was dirty as the mirror wasn't cleaned and had soap splash from the previous guest, and there was only half a roll of toilet paper and no face clothes. The rooms looked like they were stripped, and my room had a cheap looking heater in it for heating.

The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable with a door opening up into a garden. There were complimentary room snacks. The facilities in the hotel were great including a gym, pool and restaurant. The restaurant food was excellent. Great location and great that the airport shuttle service goes through there. I liked the self-service front desk but that there was someone there to answer questions for me.

The restaurant was short staffed and a little noisy. I ordered a dessert and didn't get it. When I went to pay the staff didn't know I hadn't received my dessert order. They were friendly, pleasant and apologetic but clearly the restaurant was short staffed.

Have stayed previously at the Naumi and love the alternative design style they offer. The staff have always been amazing, helpful, and understanding and always with a smile no matter the time of the day or night. We had a couple of minor hitches that required a room change, however the staff were exceptional without question and when I went to arrange breakfast, I was told there was no charge! That was a lovely unexpected gesture acknowledging the minor issues. Thank you very much for that. Not sure how I feel about your robot vacuum, interesting to say the least :)

Am not keen on this cashless, impersonal, do it yourself check-in process, especially considering that errors can happen and did happen when I was charged twice for the $200 room bond. Walking in and seeing 2 large black monoliths is not welcoming and ties staff up assisting people trying to navigate these systems. Please reconsider this type of impersonal check-in system! Also your rooms have decks that over look lovely enclosed lawns/grounds and the pool, please would you consider allowing people to smoke outside on their balcony where they can enjoy a coffee instead of having to stand out front of the hotel right by the road? Thank you.
