Breakfast was pretty standard, a Turkish theme on some items. Coffee was good. Location is great, right on the harbour and close to good eateries and shopping areas. Room was spacious and light. Common areas were nicely presented and flooring was clean.

The room didn't have a bath, which is a luxury we enjoy when we are away. Only 2 towels in the room, for the level of hotel we would expect more. The light switches in the room were a conundrum that we never really worked out, couldn't seem to turn on the bathroom light without the whole bedroom lighting up. The compendium was located on the TV, which didn't seem to have basic information ie. what time was check-out. Better instructions for parking would be great as the streets surrounding the hotel are full of parked cars. Limit taxis outside to one at a time to allow guests to arrive.

Great location and rooms are nice, clean, comfortable and new.

Don’t come here for a quiet, relaxing stay. We were put on level 5 right next to the elevator - meaning we were constantly woken by noisy people coming home late at night, and also cleaners being loud and slamming doors early in the morning. In particular a massive issue is that non-guests (drunk and loud) kept trying to use the elevator to go to the rooftop bar - 2 of the elevators don’t have access to the rooftop so they kept getting out on the guest only level without requiring a pass (level 5) and transferring elevators to get to the rooftop. This is a huge lapse in security - having people right outside our room who aren't guests who are yelling and carrying on very late at night caused a lot of discomfort, stress, and resulted in little sleep.

This is a stunningly modern and well appointed hotel. The interior design is superior. Even the elevators are stunning. The front desk staff are unusually efficient and cheerful. The gym was well equipped. Parking was done by valet and was only $35 per night. The beds were among the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The shower had great great water pressure. We were downtown so the view was of other buildings but that was acceptable. We walked to a local Chinese restaurant for dinner called Xian food Food store.Amazing cumin lamb sandwiches and noodles. I would definitely stay there again. It has my highest recommendation.

I have been staying at the Auckland QT for over a week and am writing this on my last evening. I combined a business conference and a birthday celebration and it was an entirely memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, the exceptional, world class service and genuine care and attention by the absolutely amazing hotel staff truly made this solo adventure the most special - special mention to Fiorella, Heloise, Ajay and Bihan - many thanks to you all for your kindness and compassion. From the moment I stepped in, the staff's warmth and attention to detail ensured I felt right at home. As a solo traveler, this personal touch meant the world to me, and I was in awe of their dedication from staff that clearly are invested in their positions and the company - it was refreshing to witness. I treated myself to an executive balcony room, and it was a haven of comfort and luxury. It provided the perfect retreat after a day of work. A highlight of my stay was the rooftop bar which I have visited before, but have never had the pleasure of staying here and having that as my default. The panoramic views, delectable cocktails, and mouthwatering cuisine set the stage for a wonderful birthday week - and being able to work at the rooftop was really lovely. The relaxation and reflection this afforded me as well as my friends who celebrated with me was entirely worth-it. In summary, my solo stay at the Auckland QT was incredible, the staff, serviced, delectable food, and the enchanting rooftop bar all came together to create an experience that exceeded my expectations. I'm immensely grateful for the hospitality and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for any traveler seeking a memorable Auckland adventure. It's a five-star experience that left me with cherished memories to take back with me. I will return.

We mostly had drinks. ie up stairs at the roof top bar and a snack. I liked the decor. There was always some thing interesting to look at. This was my main reason for choosing the QT Hotel for a staycation.

We did do the a la carte breakfast one morning. The white's of our eggs could have been cooked a bit more. Still clear. It would have been good to have had a mirror light in the bathroom that was good for applying makeup and flossing our teeth. On the first night we were a bit hot under the duvet. On the second night we didn't use that and found the woollen blanket on the bed was the right warmth for us.

This place is elegant, and we enjoyed being down by the Viaduct. The hotel is quite lovely and the restaurant is good. Sweet little bar to grab a beverage and the staff was always polite and friendly. Really very nice! They got us early checkin after our overnight flight, texted us when the room was ready and even moved our suitcases for us. The look and feel is upscale and quite lovely. The bathrooms near the restaurant lounge are above and beyond, making it very easy for us to freshen up after a long flight.

The room was much smaller than expected and it seemed to sacrifice function for aesthetic -- no bathroom fan, no in-room coffee, outlets in strange places; just minor things like that. The cost adds up in a place like this, with no perks to speak of. The neighborhood here is an industrial/office atmosphere, and was quiet on a Monday, with mostly business folk walking around and the traffic is loud. But in the evening we found a nearby area of restaurants and had a wonderful time. Overall, this place is beautiful inside, but expensive for what you actually get.

The styling of the rooms is really cool and we particularly liked the roof top bar. Rooms were spacious and well appointed with plenty of storage for luggage.

We were given a room on the ground floor which looked directly on to Fanshawe Street. This meant we had to have the blinds down the whole time during our stay as the general public are walking past the whole time/ It would have been nice if the hotel advised us of this when we were directed to our room as I would have asked for something alternative.

Arrived early from a long flight and the staff was so kind to let us check in early and freshen up in our room. The ability to shower and get a nap in before we started our trip was absolutely a game changer. Thank you QT Auckland. This is hospitality at its finest! Location could not be beat, easily walkable to a lot of destinations and the rooms are lovely. The view of the carpark is whatever but you just step out of the hotel and you're in the bustle of it all!

Took a long time to get service and food at breakfast at Esther (the hotel restaurant). Given the amazing hospitality we had experienced in NZ, the wait staff at Esther was average by comparison. They could have been short staffed or just not feeling great that morning. Either way it wasn't a big deal.

Love the modern decor. Bed was very comfortable and quality throughout.

The valet parking. We could not find where to park our car for the valet to park it, as the loading bay we were told to use was filled with taxis. Ended up parking on the footpath. Then we could not find a concierge to arrange parking and there was a wait at checkin, so had to get the attention of someone walking past the reception counter. Although we arrived an hour after check in opened, our room was not ready, however we were allocated another room. Ended up okay, but there really seemed to be a lack of staff at reception and it wasn’t the best way to start our stay.

Early check in. Rooms cleaned very promptly. Rooms very comfortable. Water (on-demand) fountain. Bed extremely comfortable.

Room & bathroom (in particular) were very dark & not well lit. Noise between rooms was very noticeable (I could clearly hear a conversation in the adjacent room). Was given a handicapped room which (whilst excellent for those in need) did make bathroom impractical for our use.
