Cool place. Very hip and stylish. VERY friendly and helpful staff. Flashy cool restaurant and rooms, interesting design elements. Nice bed and sleep. Coffee shop out back (separate business) is awesome and very popular. Lovely rooftop bar/restaurant.

A bit of style over substance. Design of rooms is cool, but at the cost of some comfort. Example: no bright lights in bathroom. No views. You pay a premium for the cool design elements. A little distance to the marina happenings, 5-10 minute walk along the lovely marina. Gym is tiny. Food design and recipes are amazing but to me not as yummy as they looked.

Breakfast was pretty standard, a Turkish theme on some items. Coffee was good. Location is great, right on the harbour and close to good eateries and shopping areas. Room was spacious and light. Common areas were nicely presented and flooring was clean.

The room didn't have a bath, which is a luxury we enjoy when we are away. Only 2 towels in the room, for the level of hotel we would expect more. The light switches in the room were a conundrum that we never really worked out, couldn't seem to turn on the bathroom light without the whole bedroom lighting up. The compendium was located on the TV, which didn't seem to have basic information ie. what time was check-out. Better instructions for parking would be great as the streets surrounding the hotel are full of parked cars. Limit taxis outside to one at a time to allow guests to arrive.

Beautiful eclectic interior design, love every detail of this hotel. Great location, just a few minutes walk to the viaduct where there are many restaurants. Food and drinks are good too! Staff are so friendly and very helpful. Our server from South Africa was super friendly and attentive, he made our dining experience more lively and enjoyable. The Indonesian from desk staff was so helpful in my rebooking process, he was generous to offer me a drink’s voucher in their rooftop bar. Rooftop bar has stunning view and funky vibe, DJ played great music. Our room was spacious and very comfortable beds.

Clean, very modern and decent sized rooms with nice bathrooms. Large king bed. I also appreciated the water filters on each floor. We didn’t have breakfast included so can’t rate it but the restaurant looked pretty with a nice ambiance. Great rooftop bar with nice views.

Walls are very thin you can hear heavy room doors closing, housekeeping trolleys, people talking, other things banging, noise from the street etc. Suggest ear plugs if you are a light sleeper! Location is ok, a bit of a walk to the city centre (and Auckland is hilly!) but appreciated being just outside the hustle and bustle.

Fantastic staff! Extremely helpful. The breakfast at Esther was amazing, lots of food options and quality fresh ingredients. We loved the pizzetta! Room and decor very modern and interesting artwork throughout the building. Our room faced a busy street but was not loud. Clean and spacious room. Location easy walk to the city centre, ferry, harbor, CBD, shopping and cafes.

Only drawback was the lack of lighting in the rooms. It was consistent with the design of the decor to be moody and chic. However it would be helpful to have additional optional lighting or lamps as it was pretty dark in the rooms.

We liked the location of QT - it was easy to walk to parts of Auckland we wanted to visit and was very comfy for our one night stay post flight. Staff were very polite when we were there.

We booked this hotel for the rooftop bar. On arrival we got told it was closed for a private function. This was extremely disappointing, as we would have booked somewhere else (would have been cheaper and similar quality) if we had known. We contacted the hotel separately about this, but received no response. It would have been nice to get a message before hand to make us aware.

Great location. All the little details. I loved the warm lighting and the free filtered water you can refill in the hallways. Bathroom was a great sized with lush toiletaries, robes were so cosy. The bed was very soft which I normally don’t like but I found it comfortable and slept well. The room service food did not disappoint. The side salad was the prettiest and yummiest salad I’ve had. Staff were very accommodating. The close proximity to the viaduct.

The breakfast wasn’t very tasty. No carpet in the rooms gave it a kind of cold not as cozy feeling. Being sensitive to cold I would prefer a room with carpet.

Stylish and luxurious hotel with comfortable rooms and a great breakfast menu (for those who get breakfast included with their stay!). Staff were friendly and welcoming, and happy to help with our requests to borrow an umbrella, or leave our luggage beyond check out time. Bed was super comfy and room was nicely decorated with a great minibar selection, a coffee machine and kettle.

Only negative thing I would have to say is that this property doesn't have a pool, and the location isn't as close to everything in the CBD as we would have liked.

QT consistently blows our mind away, in all QT hotels you can tell there is so much time and attention that goes into all the details in your room and around the hotel. Additionally the staff at every hotel goes above and beyond to not just help us enjoy our stay, but to feel unique and special too. We love QT and can't wait to visit another around the world.

We stayed in the beautiful suite on the 5th floor, unfortunately though we were directly under the restaurant so we could hear people getting up from their tables when their chairs moved against the floor. Also some of our room service meals were a bit average, just lacking flavour or way too salty.

Location was great as 5 min walk to plenty of action inc restaurants and pier. Staff very pleasant in my limited dealings. Room was good, very clean and bed super comfortable. Its a nice hotel.

The ground floor room (3) had a pedestrian footpath directly outside the window which realistically means blinds are shut most of the time. Its rare to have a hotel room on the ground floor and this want ideal. They probably keep these for those that have used a 3rd party booking site... There is a digital advertising panel across the road which also emits significant light.
